وَمَا يَتَّبِعُ أَكۡثَرُهُمۡ إِلَّا ظَنًّاۚ إِنَّ ٱلظَّنَّ لَا يُغۡنِي مِنَ ٱلۡحَقِّ شَيۡـًٔاۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلِيمُۢ بِمَا يَفۡعَلُونَ ٣٦
And most of them follow not except assumption. Indeed, assumption avails not against the truth at all. Indeed, Allāh is Knowing of what they do.

Shumica e tyre pasojnë veçse hamendësime; por hamendësimi nuk është asgjë ndaj së vërtetës. -Nga të gjitha këto del qartë se idhujt e tyre nuk zotërojnë ndonjë cilësi hyjnore as në veten dhe as në veprat e tyre, që të meritojnë të adhurohen bashkë me Allahun e Lartësuar. Madje ato janë plot mangësi, që e bëjnë të kotë çdo adhurim përkushtuar atyre. Atëherë për çfarë arsye i konsideroni ata si zota veç Allahut?! Përgjigjja më e saktë do të ishte se ky është një mashtrim dhe zbukurim që shejtani e bën në zemrën e njeriut. Kjo është shpifja më e shëmtuar dhe humbja më e frikshme. I mallkuari ua zbukuron kotësinë dhe, me kalimin e kohës, ajo bëhet besim i fortë dhe i palëkundur në zemrat e tyre. Ata mësohen me të dhe nënshtrohen për ta pranuar si të vërtetë, ndërkohë që ishte veçse një kotësi dhe mashtrim. Prandaj, i Madhëruari thotë: "Ata të cilët adhurojnë idhuj në vend të Allahut, shkojnë pas hamendësimeve, dhe nuk bëjnë gjë tjetër, por veçse gënjejnë.” [Junus 66]. Ndërsa në këtë ajet thotë: "Shumica e tyre pasojnë veçse hamendësime, por hamendësimi nuk është asgjë ndaj të vërtetës." Kështu, në të vërtetë, ata që lusin dhe adhurojnë idhujt veç Allahut, nuk pasojnë asgjë. Në realitet, Allahu i Lartësuar nuk ka partner dhe të barabatë me Të. Këtë e hedh poshtë qoftë logjika, qoftë agumentet e shkruara nga shpalljet e Zotit. Ata thjesht pasojnë supozime dhe hamendësime. Ndërkohë që Allahu i Madhëruar thotë: "...por hamendësimi nuk është asgjë ndaj të vërtetës." Ata i emërtuan si "zota" dhe i adhuruan ata ashtu si Allahun. Thotë i Madhëruari: "Ata (idhujt)nuk janë gjë tjetër, vetëm se emra, që ju dhe prindërit tuaj i caktuat. Allahu nuk zbriti për ta ndonjë fakt. Por ata ndjekin vetëm hamendësimet dhe dëshirat e veta, megjithëse prej Zotit të tyre u ka ardhur udhëzimi i qartë." [Nexhm 23].Allahu di gjithçka që ata bëjnë. -Prandaj Ai do t’u japë atyre ndëshkimin më të rëndë e të meritueshëm.

10:34
قُلۡ هَلۡ مِن شُرَكَآئِكُم مَّن يَبۡدَؤُاْ ٱلۡخَلۡقَ ثُمَّ يُعِيدُهُۥۚ قُلِ ٱللَّهُ يَبۡدَؤُاْ ٱلۡخَلۡقَ ثُمَّ يُعِيدُهُۥۖ فَأَنَّىٰ تُؤۡفَكُونَ ٣٤
Say, "Are there of your 'partners' any who begins creation and then repeats it?" Say, "Allāh begins creation and then repeats it, so how are you deluded?"
10:35
قُلۡ هَلۡ مِن شُرَكَآئِكُم مَّن يَهۡدِيٓ إِلَى ٱلۡحَقِّۚ قُلِ ٱللَّهُ يَهۡدِي لِلۡحَقِّۗ أَفَمَن يَهۡدِيٓ إِلَى ٱلۡحَقِّ أَحَقُّ أَن يُتَّبَعَ أَمَّن لَّا يَهِدِّيٓ إِلَّآ أَن يُهۡدَىٰۖ فَمَا لَكُمۡ كَيۡفَ تَحۡكُمُونَ ٣٥
Say, "Are there of your 'partners' any who guides to the truth?" Say, "Allāh guides to the truth. So is He who guides to the truth more worthy to be followed or he who guides not unless he is guided? Then what is [wrong] with you - how do you judge?"
10:36
وَمَا يَتَّبِعُ أَكۡثَرُهُمۡ إِلَّا ظَنًّاۚ إِنَّ ٱلظَّنَّ لَا يُغۡنِي مِنَ ٱلۡحَقِّ شَيۡـًٔاۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلِيمُۢ بِمَا يَفۡعَلُونَ ٣٦

10:37
وَمَا كَانَ هَٰذَا ٱلۡقُرۡءَانُ أَن يُفۡتَرَىٰ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ وَلَٰكِن تَصۡدِيقَ ٱلَّذِي بَيۡنَ يَدَيۡهِ وَتَفۡصِيلَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ لَا رَيۡبَ فِيهِ مِن رَّبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ ٣٧
And it was not [possible] for this Qur’ān to be produced by other than Allāh, but [it is] a confirmation of what was before it and a detailed explanation of the [former] Scripture, about which there is no doubt,1 from the Lord of the worlds.

10:38
أَمۡ يَقُولُونَ ٱفۡتَرَىٰهُۖ قُلۡ فَأۡتُواْ بِسُورَةٖ مِّثۡلِهِۦ وَٱدۡعُواْ مَنِ ٱسۡتَطَعۡتُم مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ إِن كُنتُمۡ صَٰدِقِينَ ٣٨
Or do they say [about the Prophet (ﷺ)], "He invented it?" Say, "Then bring forth a sūrah like it and call upon [for assistance] whomever you can besides Allāh, if you should be truthful."
10:39
بَلۡ كَذَّبُواْ بِمَا لَمۡ يُحِيطُواْ بِعِلۡمِهِۦ وَلَمَّا يَأۡتِهِمۡ تَأۡوِيلُهُۥۚ كَذَٰلِكَ كَذَّبَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡۖ فَٱنظُرۡ كَيۡفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ ٣٩
Rather, they have denied that which they encompass not in knowledge and whose interpretation has not yet come to them. Thus did those before them deny. Then observe how was the end of the wrongdoers.
10:40
وَمِنۡهُم مَّن يُؤۡمِنُ بِهِۦ وَمِنۡهُم مَّن لَّا يُؤۡمِنُ بِهِۦۚ وَرَبُّكَ أَعۡلَمُ بِٱلۡمُفۡسِدِينَ ٤٠
And of them are those who believe in it, and of them are those who do not believe in it. And your Lord is most knowing of the corrupters.
10:41
وَإِن كَذَّبُوكَ فَقُل لِّي عَمَلِي وَلَكُمۡ عَمَلُكُمۡۖ أَنتُم بَرِيٓـُٔونَ مِمَّآ أَعۡمَلُ وَأَنَا۠ بَرِيٓءٞ مِّمَّا تَعۡمَلُونَ ٤١
And if they deny you, [O Muḥammad], then say, "For me are my deeds, and for you are your deeds. You are disassociated from what I do, and I am disassociated from what you do."
10:42
وَمِنۡهُم مَّن يَسۡتَمِعُونَ إِلَيۡكَۚ أَفَأَنتَ تُسۡمِعُ ٱلصُّمَّ وَلَوۡ كَانُواْ لَا يَعۡقِلُونَ ٤٢
And among them are those who listen to you. But can you cause the deaf to hear [i.e., benefit from this hearing], although they will not use reason?
