بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
Al-Qari'ah 101:8

وَأَمَّا مَنۡ خَفَّتۡ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ ٨
But as for one whose scales are light,

﴿وَأَمَّا مَنۡ خَفَّتۡ مَوَ ٰزِینُهُۥ ٨﴾ - تفسير
٨٤٦٢٧- عن عُبيد بن عُمير -من طريق عمرو بن دينار- في قوله تعالى: ﴿وأَمّا مَن خَفَّتْ مَوازِينُهُ﴾، قال: يؤتى بالرجل العظيم الطويل الأكول الشروب يوم القيامة، فيوضع الميزان، فما يَزِن عند الله جناح بعوضة[[أخرجه عبد الرزاق ٣/٤٥٥.]]. (ز)
٨٤٦٢٨- قال مقاتل بن سليمان: ﴿وأَمّا مَن خَفَّتْ مَوازِينُهُ﴾ بسيئاته، وهو الشّرك؛ لأنه لا يرى شيئًا مما كسب إلا صار كالرّماد، فاشتدتْ به الريحُ في يوم شديد الريح، وكما أنه ليس في الأرض شيء أخبث مِن الشّرك فهكذا ليس شيء أخفّ من الشّرك في الميزان، و«لا إله إلا الله» ثقيلة، وصاحبها ثقيل كريم رزين عند الله ﷿، فيأتي صاحب التوحيد بأعماله الصالحة، فيَثقل ميزانُه، ويأتي صاحب الشّرك بأعماله الطالحة، فلا تكون له حسنة توزن معه، فهو خفيف، وحُقّ لميزان لا يقع فيه الحقّ أن يَخفّ؛ لأنّ الحق ثقيل مريء، والباطل خفيف وبيء[[تفسير مقاتل بن سليمان ٤/٨١٢.]]. 100:10
وَحُصِّلَ مَا فِي ٱلصُّدُورِ ١٠
And that within the breasts is obtained,1

إِنَّ رَبَّهُم بِهِمۡ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لَّخَبِيرُۢ ١١
Indeed, their Lord with them, that Day, is [fully] Aware.1

Al-Qari'ah
The Calamity · Meccan · 11 ayahs
بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
101:1
ٱلۡقَارِعَةُ ١
The Striking Calamity -
101:2
مَا ٱلۡقَارِعَةُ ٢
What is the Striking Calamity?
101:3
وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلۡقَارِعَةُ ٣
And what can make you know what is the Striking Calamity?
101:4
يَوۡمَ يَكُونُ ٱلنَّاسُ كَٱلۡفَرَاشِ ٱلۡمَبۡثُوثِ ٤
It is the Day when people will be like moths, dispersed,1

وَتَكُونُ ٱلۡجِبَالُ كَٱلۡعِهۡنِ ٱلۡمَنفُوشِ ٥
And the mountains will be like wool, fluffed up.1

101:6
فَأَمَّا مَن ثَقُلَتۡ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ ٦
Then as for one whose scales are heavy [with good deeds],
101:7
فَهُوَ فِي عِيشَةٖ رَّاضِيَةٖ ٧
He will be in a pleasant life.
101:8
وَأَمَّا مَنۡ خَفَّتۡ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ ٨
But as for one whose scales are light,
101:9
فَأُمُّهُۥ هَاوِيَةٞ ٩
101:10
وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا هِيَهۡ ١٠
And what can make you know what that is?
101:11
نَارٌ حَامِيَةُۢ ١١
It is a Fire, intensely hot.
سورة التكاثر
At-Takathur
The Rivalry in world increase · Meccan · 8 ayahs
بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
102:1
أَلۡهَىٰكُمُ ٱلتَّكَاثُرُ ١
Competition in [worldly] increase diverts you
102:2
حَتَّىٰ زُرۡتُمُ ٱلۡمَقَابِرَ ٢
Until you visit the graveyards.1

102:3
كـَلَّا سَوۡفَ تَعۡلَمُونَ ٣
No! You are going to know.
102:4
ثُمَّ كـَلَّا سَوۡفَ تَعۡلَمُونَ ٤
Then, no! You are going to know.
102:5
كـَلَّا لَوۡ تَعۡلَمُونَ عِلۡمَ ٱلۡيَقِينِ ٥
No! If you only knew with knowledge of certainty...1

102:6
لَتَرَوُنَّ ٱلۡجَحِيمَ ٦
You will surely see the Hellfire.
102:7
ثُمَّ لَتَرَوُنَّهَا عَيۡنَ ٱلۡيَقِينِ ٧
Then you will surely see it with the eye of certainty.1

ثُمَّ لَتُسۡـَٔلُنَّ يَوۡمَئِذٍ عَنِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ ٨
Then you will surely be asked that Day about pleasure.1
