۞ ضَرَبَ ٱللَّهُ مَثَلًا عَبۡدٗا مَّمۡلُوكٗا لَّا يَقۡدِرُ عَلَىٰ شَيۡءٖ وَمَن رَّزَقۡنَٰهُ مِنَّا رِزۡقًا حَسَنٗا فَهُوَ يُنفِقُ مِنۡهُ سِرّٗا وَجَهۡرًاۖ هَلۡ يَسۡتَوُۥنَۚ ٱلۡحَمۡدُ لِلَّهِۚ بَلۡ أَكۡثَرُهُمۡ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ ٧٥
Allāh presents an example: a slave [who is] owned and unable to do a thing and he to whom We have provided from Us good provision, so he spends from it secretly and publicly. Can they be equal? Praise to Allāh! But most of them do not know.

• ﴿ضَرَبَ﴾ فعل ماض ثلاثي مجرد، من مادّة ضرب، غائب، مذكر، مفرد.
• ﴿ٱللَّهُ﴾ علم، من مادّة أله.
• ﴿مَثَلًا﴾ اسم، من مادّة مثل، مذكر، نكرة، منصوب.
• ﴿عَبْدًا﴾ اسم، من مادّة عبد، مذكر، نكرة، منصوب.
• ﴿مَّمْلُوكًا﴾ اسم مفعول الثلاثي مجرد، من مادّة ملك، مذكر، نكرة، منصوب.
• ﴿لَّا﴾ حرف نفي.
• ﴿يَقْدِرُ﴾ فعل مضارع من الثلاثي مجرد، من مادّة قدر، غائب، مذكر، مفرد، مرفوع.
• ﴿عَلَىٰ﴾ حرف جر.
• ﴿شَىْءٍ﴾ اسم، من مادّة شيأ، مذكر، نكرة، مجرور.
• ﴿وَ﴾ حرف عطف، ﴿مَن﴾ اسم موصول.
• ﴿رَّزَقْ﴾ فعل ماض ثلاثي مجرد، من مادّة رزق، متكلم، جمع، ﴿نَٰ﴾ ضمير، متكلم، جمع، ﴿هُ﴾ ضمير، غائب، مذكر، مفرد.
• ﴿مِنَّ﴾ حرف جر، ﴿ا﴾ ضمير، متكلم، جمع.
• ﴿رِزْقًا﴾ اسم، من مادّة رزق، مذكر، نكرة، منصوب.
• ﴿حَسَنًا﴾ اسم، من مادّة حسن، مذكر، مفرد، نكرة، منصوب، نعت.
• ﴿فَ﴾ حرف استئنافية، ﴿هُوَ﴾ ضمير، غائب، مذكر، مفرد.
• ﴿يُنفِقُ﴾ فعل مضارع من مزيد الرباعي باب (أَفْعَلَ)، من مادّة نفق، غائب، مذكر، مفرد، مرفوع.
• ﴿مِنْ﴾ حرف جر، ﴿هُ﴾ ضمير، غائب، مذكر، مفرد.
• ﴿سِرًّا﴾ اسم، من مادّة سرر، مذكر، نكرة، منصوب.

• ﴿لِ﴾ حرف جر، ﴿لَّهِ﴾ علم، من مادّة أله.
• ﴿بَلْ﴾ حرف اضراب.
• ﴿أَكْثَرُ﴾ اسم، من مادّة كثر، مذكر، مفرد، مرفوع، ﴿هُمْ﴾ ضمير، غائب، مذكر، جمع.
• ﴿لَا﴾ حرف نفي.
• ﴿يَعْلَمُ﴾ فعل مضارع من الثلاثي مجرد، من مادّة علم، غائب، مذكر، جمع، مرفوع، ﴿ونَ﴾ ضمير، غائب، مذكر، جمع.

16:73
وَيَعۡبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ مَا لَا يَمۡلِكُ لَهُمۡ رِزۡقٗا مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ شَيۡـٔٗا وَلَا يَسۡتَطِيعُونَ ٧٣
And they worship besides Allāh that which does not possess for them [the power of] provision from the heavens and the earth at all, and [in fact], they are unable.
16:74
فَلَا تَضۡرِبُواْ لِلَّهِ ٱلۡأَمۡثَالَۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَعۡلَمُ وَأَنتُمۡ لَا تَعۡلَمُونَ ٧٤
So do not assert similarities to Allāh.1 Indeed, Allāh knows and you do not know.

16:75

16:76
وَضَرَبَ ٱللَّهُ مَثَلٗا رَّجُلَيۡنِ أَحَدُهُمَآ أَبۡكَمُ لَا يَقۡدِرُ عَلَىٰ شَيۡءٖ وَهُوَ كَلٌّ عَلَىٰ مَوۡلَىٰهُ أَيۡنَمَا يُوَجِّههُّ لَا يَأۡتِ بِخَيۡرٍ هَلۡ يَسۡتَوِي هُوَ وَمَن يَأۡمُرُ بِٱلۡعَدۡلِ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ صِرَٰطٖ مُّسۡتَقِيمٖ ٧٦
And Allāh presents an example of two men, one of them dumb and unable to do a thing, while he is a burden to his guardian. Wherever he directs him, he brings no good. Is he equal to one who commands justice, while he is on a straight path?
16:77
وَلِلَّهِ غَيۡبُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ وَمَآ أَمۡرُ ٱلسَّاعَةِ إِلَّا كَلَمۡحِ ٱلۡبَصَرِ أَوۡ هُوَ أَقۡرَبُۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ قَدِيرٞ ٧٧
And to Allāh belongs the unseen [aspects] of the heavens and the earth. And the command for the Hour is not but as a glance of the eye or even nearer. Indeed, Allāh is over all things competent.
16:78
وَٱللَّهُ أَخۡرَجَكُم مِّنۢ بُطُونِ أُمَّهَٰتِكُمۡ لَا تَعۡلَمُونَ شَيۡـٔٗا وَجَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلسَّمۡعَ وَٱلۡأَبۡصَٰرَ وَٱلۡأَفۡـِٔدَةَ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَشۡكُرُونَ ٧٨
And Allāh has extracted you from the wombs of your mothers not knowing a thing, and He made for you hearing and vision and hearts [i.e., intellect] that perhaps you would be grateful.
16:79
أَلَمۡ يَرَوۡاْ إِلَى ٱلطَّيۡرِ مُسَخَّرَٰتٖ فِي جَوِّ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَا يُمۡسِكُهُنَّ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَٰتٖ لِّقَوۡمٖ يُؤۡمِنُونَ ٧٩
Do they not see the birds controlled in the atmosphere of the sky? None holds them up except Allāh. Indeed in that are signs for a people who believe.
