Al-Kahf 18:98

قَالَ هَٰذَا رَحۡمَةٞ مِّن رَّبِّيۖ فَإِذَا جَآءَ وَعۡدُ رَبِّي جَعَلَهُۥ دَكَّآءَۖ وَكَانَ وَعۡدُ رَبِّي حَقّٗا ٩٨
[Dhul-Qarnayn] said, "This is a mercy from my Lord; but when the promise of my Lord1 comes [i.e., approaches], He will make it level, and ever is the promise of my Lord true."

Commentary on 18:98
Ai(Dhulkarnejni)tha: “Kjo ishte mirësi nga Zoti im. -Kjo ishte mirësia dhe bujaria e Zotit ndaj meje. Të tillë duhet të jenë udhëheqësit e mirë, kur Allahu u jep një mundësi. Atyre u shtohet edhe më tepër mirënjohja dhe përulësia ndaj Zotit, siç bëri Sulejmani (a.s) kur i sollën përpara këmbëve fronin e mbretëreshës Belkisë: “Kur e pa atë (fronin) të vendosur pranë tij, tha: “Kjo është mirësia e Zotit tim, që të më sprovojë mua nëse do ta falënderoj apo do të jem mosmirënjohës. Kush falënderon, ai falënderon për të mirën e vet dhe kush mohon, atëherë Zoti im është Jonevojtar e Bujar! [Neml 40]. Ndryshe ndodh me tiranët, të cilët janë arrogantë dhe shtypin popujt e tyre. Kur u jepet ndonjë mirësi e madhe, atyre u shtohet edhe më tepër e keqja dhe tirania, siç qe Karuni, të cilit Allahu i dha thesare të mëdha. Allahu thotë për të: “Karuni ishte nga populli i Musait, por ai i kaloi kufijtë me ta. Ne i patëm dhënë aq shumë pasuri, saqë çelësat e tij mezi i bartnin edhe disa njerëz të fuqishëm. Populli i vet i tha: “Mos u gëzo tej mase, sepse Allahu nuk i do të shfrenuarit! Me atë që të ka dhënë Allahu, kërko botën tjetër dhe mos e lër atë që të takon nga kjo botë. Bëj mirë, ashtu siç të ka bërë Allahu ty dhe mos bëj të këqija në tokë, se Allahu nuk i do keqbërësit. Ai (Karuni) tha: “Kjo më është dhënë vetëm në sajë të diturisë sime!” Më pas, Allahu thotë:Megjithatë, kur të vijë çasti i vendimit të Zotit tim, Ai do ta bëjë rrafsh atë. Vendimi i Zotit tim është i sigurt! - Kur të vijë koha që jexhuxhët dhe maxhuxhët të lejohen të dalin, Allahu do ta bëjë që gjithë ai mur i fuqishëm të shembet. Ky është një premtim i vërtetë, që ka për t’u realizuar patjetër.

18:98

18:99
۞ وَتَرَكۡنَا بَعۡضَهُمۡ يَوۡمَئِذٖ يَمُوجُ فِي بَعۡضٖۖ وَنُفِخَ فِي ٱلصُّورِ فَجَمَعۡنَٰهُمۡ جَمۡعٗا ٩٩
And We will leave them that day1 surging over each other, and [then] the Horn will be blown, and We will assemble them in [one] assembly.

18:100
وَعَرَضۡنَا جَهَنَّمَ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لِّلۡكَٰفِرِينَ عَرۡضًا ١٠٠
And We will present Hell that Day to the disbelievers, on display -
18:101
ٱلَّذِينَ كَانَتۡ أَعۡيُنُهُمۡ فِي غِطَآءٍ عَن ذِكۡرِي وَكَانُواْ لَا يَسۡتَطِيعُونَ سَمۡعًا ١٠١
Those whose eyes had been within a cover [removed] from My remembrance,1 and they were not able to hear.2
18:102
أَفَحَسِبَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓاْ أَن يَتَّخِذُواْ عِبَادِي مِن دُونِيٓ أَوۡلِيَآءَۚ إِنَّآ أَعۡتَدۡنَا جَهَنَّمَ لِلۡكَٰفِرِينَ نُزُلٗا ١٠٢
Then do those who disbelieve think that they can take My servants instead of Me as allies? Indeed, We have prepared Hell for the disbelievers as a lodging.
18:103
قُلۡ هَلۡ نُنَبِّئُكُم بِٱلۡأَخۡسَرِينَ أَعۡمَٰلًا ١٠٣
Say, [O Muḥammad], "Shall we [believers] inform you of the greatest losers as to [their] deeds?
18:104
ٱلَّذِينَ ضَلَّ سَعۡيُهُمۡ فِي ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡيَا وَهُمۡ يَحۡسَبُونَ أَنَّهُمۡ يُحۡسِنُونَ صُنۡعًا ١٠٤
[They are] those whose effort is lost in worldly life, while they think that they are doing well in work."
18:105
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِ رَبِّهِمۡ وَلِقَآئِهِۦ فَحَبِطَتۡ أَعۡمَٰلُهُمۡ فَلَا نُقِيمُ لَهُمۡ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ وَزۡنٗا ١٠٥
Those are the ones who disbelieve in the verses of their Lord and in [their] meeting Him, so their deeds have become worthless; and We will not assign to them on the Day of Resurrection any weight [i.e., importance].
18:106
ذَٰلِكَ جَزَآؤُهُمۡ جَهَنَّمُ بِمَا كَفَرُواْ وَٱتَّخَذُوٓاْ ءَايَٰتِي وَرُسُلِي هُزُوًا ١٠٦
That is their recompense - Hell - for what they denied and [because] they took My signs and My messengers in ridicule.
18:107
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ كَانَتۡ لَهُمۡ جَنَّٰتُ ٱلۡفِرۡدَوۡسِ نُزُلًا ١٠٧
Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds - they will have the Gardens of Paradise1 as a lodging,

18:108
خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا لَا يَبۡغُونَ عَنۡهَا حِوَلٗا ١٠٨
Wherein they abide eternally. They will not desire from it any transfer.
18:109
قُل لَّوۡ كَانَ ٱلۡبَحۡرُ مِدَادٗا لِّكَلِمَٰتِ رَبِّي لَنَفِدَ ٱلۡبَحۡرُ قَبۡلَ أَن تَنفَدَ كَلِمَٰتُ رَبِّي وَلَوۡ جِئۡنَا بِمِثۡلِهِۦ مَدَدٗا ١٠٩
Say, "If the sea were ink for [writing] the words1 of my Lord, the sea would be exhausted before the words of my Lord were exhausted, even if We brought the like of it in [continual] supplement."

18:110
قُلۡ إِنَّمَآ أَنَا۠ بَشَرٞ مِّثۡلُكُمۡ يُوحَىٰٓ إِلَيَّ أَنَّمَآ إِلَٰهُكُمۡ إِلَٰهٞ وَٰحِدٞۖ فَمَن كَانَ يَرۡجُواْ لِقَآءَ رَبِّهِۦ فَلۡيَعۡمَلۡ عَمَلٗا صَٰلِحٗا وَلَا يُشۡرِكۡ بِعِبَادَةِ رَبِّهِۦٓ أَحَدَۢا ١١٠
Say, "I am only a man like you, to whom has been revealed that your god is one God. So whoever would hope for the meeting with his Lord - let him do righteous work and not associate in the worship of his Lord anyone."
