إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ تَابُواْ وَأَصۡلَحُواْ وَبَيَّنُواْ فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ أَتُوبُ عَلَيۡهِمۡ وَأَنَا ٱلتَّوَّابُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ ١٦٠
Except for those who repent and correct themselves and make evident [what they concealed]. Those - I will accept their repentance, and I am the Accepting of Repentance,1 the Merciful.

Përveç atyre që pendohen, që përmirësohen dhe e deklarojnë hapur të vërtetën…. -Nga ky paralajmërim shpëtojnë vetëm ata që plotësojnë disa kushte, si më poshtë:1. Pendohen, domethënë që kthejnë rrugë dhe heqin dorë nga gjynahu, duke qenë të trishtuar për çfarë ka ndodhur dhe duke qenë të vendosur për të mos iu kthyer atij gjynahu kurrë.2. Përmirësohen, duke rregulluar veprat e tyre. Nuk mjafton vetëm që ta lësh të keqen, por duhet patjetër të kryhesh të mira dhe të rregullosh atë që ke prishur.3. Tregojnë të vërtetën. Pra, për ata që e kanë fshehur deri dje të vërtetën, nuk mjafton vetëm të heqin dorë nga kjo vepër, derisa të rregullojnë atë që kanë prishur dhe t’u tregojnë njerëzve se çfarë kanë mbajtur të fshehur.Njerëzve që plotësojnë këto tri kushte, Allahu i Lartësuar ua pranon pendimin, sepse porta e pendimit qëndron gjithmonë e hapur për këdo që plotëson kriteret e marrjes së faljes nga Zoti i tij. Allahu i Lartësuar është Pranues i pendimeve, siç thotë Ai:Atyre Unë ua pranoj pendimin, sepse Unë jam Pranuesi i pendimeve dhe Mëshirëploti. -El Teuuâb (Pendim-pranuesi) është Ai, i Cili, nëse robërit i kthehen të penduar nga gjynahet, Ai u përgjigjet plot mëshirë dhe falje. Nëse ata kthehen tek Ai, edhe Ai kthehet tek ata plot dhurata dhe mirësi, të cilat ua ka penguar fillimisht për shkak të padrejtësive të tyre. Allahu është edhe Er-raĥîm (Mëshirëploti), që ka një mëshirë të madhe dhe gjithëpërfshirëse. Pranimi i pendimit dhe kthimi në rrugën e drejtë është fryt i mëshirës së Allahut, sepse është Rraĥîm-i Ai që u jep sukses të pendohen dhe të kthehen tek Ai. Është po Mëshirëploti, që pasi u jep sukses të kthehen tek Ai të penduar, ua pranon pendimin dhe përgatit shpërblim të madh për ta, si butësi dhe nder prej bujarisë së Tij. Ky është gjykimi për të penduarit dhe të kthyerit sinqerisht tek Zoti i tyre. Ndërsa ata që mohojnë dhe vazhdojnë në rrugën e humbjes derisa t’u vijë vdekja, ata që kurrë nuk kthehen tek Allahu, derisa të dorëzojnë shpirtin e tyre, ata kanë tjetër gjykim.

2:154
وَلَا تَقُولُواْ لِمَن يُقۡتَلُ فِي سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ أَمۡوَٰتُۢۚ بَلۡ أَحۡيَآءٞ وَلَٰكِن لَّا تَشۡعُرُونَ ١٥٤
And do not say about those who are killed in the way of Allāh, "They are dead." Rather, they are alive, but you perceive [it] not.
2:155
وَلَنَبۡلُوَنَّكُم بِشَيۡءٖ مِّنَ ٱلۡخَوۡفِ وَٱلۡجُوعِ وَنَقۡصٖ مِّنَ ٱلۡأَمۡوَٰلِ وَٱلۡأَنفُسِ وَٱلثَّمَرَٰتِۗ وَبَشِّرِ ٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ ١٥٥
And We will surely test you with something of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth and lives and fruits, but give good tidings to the patient,
2:156
ٱلَّذِينَ إِذَآ أَصَٰبَتۡهُم مُّصِيبَةٞ قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّآ إِلَيۡهِ رَٰجِعُونَ ١٥٦
Who, when disaster strikes them, say, "Indeed we belong to Allāh, and indeed to Him we will return."
2:157
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ صَلَوَٰتٞ مِّن رَّبِّهِمۡ وَرَحۡمَةٞۖ وَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡمُهۡتَدُونَ ١٥٧
Those are the ones upon whom are blessings from their Lord and mercy. And it is those who are the [rightly] guided.
2:158
۞ إِنَّ ٱلصَّفَا وَٱلۡمَرۡوَةَ مِن شَعَآئِرِ ٱللَّهِۖ فَمَنۡ حَجَّ ٱلۡبَيۡتَ أَوِ ٱعۡتَمَرَ فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيۡهِ أَن يَطَّوَّفَ بِهِمَاۚ وَمَن تَطَوَّعَ خَيۡرٗا فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ شَاكِرٌ عَلِيمٌ ١٥٨
Indeed, aṣ-Ṣafā and al-Marwah are among the symbols1 of Allāh. So whoever makes ḥajj [pilgrimage] to the House or performs ʿumrah - there is no blame upon him for walking between them.2 And whoever volunteers good - then indeed, Allāh is Appreciative3 and Knowing.
2:159
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَكۡتُمُونَ مَآ أَنزَلۡنَا مِنَ ٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتِ وَٱلۡهُدَىٰ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ مَا بَيَّنَّٰهُ لِلنَّاسِ فِي ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ يَلۡعَنُهُمُ ٱللَّهُ وَيَلۡعَنُهُمُ ٱللَّٰعِنُونَ ١٥٩
Indeed, those who conceal what We sent down of clear proofs and guidance after We made it clear for the people in the Scripture - those are cursed by Allāh and cursed by those who curse,1

2:160

2:161
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ وَمَاتُواْ وَهُمۡ كُفَّارٌ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ لَعۡنَةُ ٱللَّهِ وَٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ وَٱلنَّاسِ أَجۡمَعِينَ ١٦١
Indeed, those who disbelieve and die while they are disbelievers - upon them will be the curse of Allāh and of the angels and the people, all together,
2:162
خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا لَا يُخَفَّفُ عَنۡهُمُ ٱلۡعَذَابُ وَلَا هُمۡ يُنظَرُونَ ١٦٢
Abiding eternally therein. The punishment will not be lightened for them, nor will they be reprieved.
2:163
وَإِلَٰهُكُمۡ إِلَٰهٞ وَٰحِدٞۖ لَّآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ ١٦٣
And your god is one God. There is no deity [worthy of worship] except Him, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
