فِي ٱلدُّنۡيَا وَٱلۡأٓخِرَةِۗ وَيَسۡـَٔلُونَكَ عَنِ ٱلۡيَتَٰمَىٰۖ قُلۡ إِصۡلَاحٞ لَّهُمۡ خَيۡرٞۖ وَإِن تُخَالِطُوهُمۡ فَإِخۡوَٰنُكُمۡۚ وَٱللَّهُ يَعۡلَمُ ٱلۡمُفۡسِدَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُصۡلِحِۚ وَلَوۡ شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ لَأَعۡنَتَكُمۡۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٞ ٢٢٠
To this world and the Hereafter. And they ask you about orphans. Say, "Improvement for them is best. And if you mix your affairs with theirs - they are your brothers. And Allāh knows the corrupter from the amender. And if Allāh had willed, He could have put you in difficulty. Indeed, Allāh is Exalted in Might and Wise."

Commentary on 2:220
﴿في الدنيا والآخرة﴾: الجار والمجرور متعلقان بتتفكرون أو بيبين.
﴿ويسألونك عن اليتامى﴾: الواو عاطفة، ويسألونك فعل، وفاعل، ومفعول به، والجار والمجرور متعلقان بيسألونك.
﴿قل﴾: فعل أمر، وفاعل مستتر، والجملة مستأنفة لا محل لها من الإعراب.
﴿إصلاح﴾: مبتدأ، وسوغ الابتداء به وصفه بالجار والمجرور.
﴿لهم﴾: الجار والمجرور صفة لإصلاح.
﴿خير﴾: خبر إصلاح، والجملة الاسمية مقول القول.
﴿وإن﴾: الواو استئنافية، وإن شرطية.
﴿تخالطوهم﴾: فعل الشرط، وعلامة جزمه حذف النون، والواو فاعل، والهاء مفعول به.
﴿فإخوانكم﴾: الفاء رابطة لجواب الشرط، وإخوانكم خبر لمبتدأ محذوف، أي: فهم إخوانكم، والجملة الاسمية في محل جزم جواب الشرط، ولا بد من تقدير محذوف، أي: فلكم ذلك، ثم علل ذلك بقوله: فهم إخوانكم، وجملة ﴿وإن تخالطوهم فإخوانكم﴾ مستأنفة لا محل لها من الإعراب.
﴿والله﴾: الواو استئنافية، والواو مبتدأ.
﴿يعلم﴾: الجملة خبر المبتدأ، وفاعل يعلم ضمير مستتر يعود على الله تعالى.
﴿المفسد﴾: مفعول به.
﴿من المصلح﴾: الجار والمجرور متعلقان بيعلم لتضمنه معنى يميز. وجملة ﴿والله يعلم...﴾ مستأنفة لا محل لها من الإعراب.
﴿ولو﴾: الواو استئنافية، ولو شرطية.
﴿شاء الله﴾: فعل وفاعل، ومفعول المشيئة محذوف تقديره: إعناتكم.
﴿لأعنتكم﴾: اللام واقعة في جواب لو، وأعنتكم فعل، وفاعل مستتر، ومفعول به، وجملة لأعنتكم لا محل لها من الإعراب، لأنها جواب شرط غير جازم. وجملة ﴿ولو شاء الله﴾ مستأنفة لا محل لها من الإعراب.
﴿إن الله﴾: إن حرف ناسخ، ولفظ الجلالة اسمها.
﴿عزيز حكيم﴾: خبر إن، والجملة لا محل لها من الإعراب، لأنها بمثابة التعليل.

2:221
وَلَا تَنكِحُواْ ٱلۡمُشۡرِكَٰتِ حَتَّىٰ يُؤۡمِنَّۚ وَلَأَمَةٞ مُّؤۡمِنَةٌ خَيۡرٞ مِّن مُّشۡرِكَةٖ وَلَوۡ أَعۡجَبَتۡكُمۡۗ وَلَا تُنكِحُواْ ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ حَتَّىٰ يُؤۡمِنُواْۚ وَلَعَبۡدٞ مُّؤۡمِنٌ خَيۡرٞ مِّن مُّشۡرِكٖ وَلَوۡ أَعۡجَبَكُمۡۗ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ يَدۡعُونَ إِلَى ٱلنَّارِۖ وَٱللَّهُ يَدۡعُوٓاْ إِلَى ٱلۡجَنَّةِ وَٱلۡمَغۡفِرَةِ بِإِذۡنِهِۦۖ وَيُبَيِّنُ ءَايَٰتِهِۦ لِلنَّاسِ لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَتَذَكَّرُونَ ٢٢١
And do not marry polytheistic women until they believe.1 And a believing slave woman is better than a polytheist, even though she might please you. And do not marry polytheistic men [to your women] until they believe. And a believing slave is better than a polytheist, even though he might please you. Those invite [you] to the Fire, but Allāh invites to Paradise and to forgiveness, by His permission. And He makes clear His verses [i.e., ordinances] to the people that perhaps they may remember.

2:222
وَيَسۡـَٔلُونَكَ عَنِ ٱلۡمَحِيضِۖ قُلۡ هُوَ أَذٗى فَٱعۡتَزِلُواْ ٱلنِّسَآءَ فِي ٱلۡمَحِيضِ وَلَا تَقۡرَبُوهُنَّ حَتَّىٰ يَطۡهُرۡنَۖ فَإِذَا تَطَهَّرۡنَ فَأۡتُوهُنَّ مِنۡ حَيۡثُ أَمَرَكُمُ ٱللَّهُۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُحِبُّ ٱلتَّوَّٰبِينَ وَيُحِبُّ ٱلۡمُتَطَهِّرِينَ ٢٢٢
And they ask you about menstruation. Say, "It is harm, so keep away from wives1 during menstruation. And do not approach them until they are pure. And when they have purified themselves,2 then come to them from where Allāh has ordained for you. Indeed, Allāh loves those who are constantly repentant and loves those who purify themselves."
2:223
نِسَآؤُكُمۡ حَرۡثٞ لَّكُمۡ فَأۡتُواْ حَرۡثَكُمۡ أَنَّىٰ شِئۡتُمۡۖ وَقَدِّمُواْ لِأَنفُسِكُمۡۚ وَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَٱعۡلَمُوٓاْ أَنَّكُم مُّلَٰقُوهُۗ وَبَشِّرِ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ ٢٢٣
Your wives are a place of cultivation [i.e., sowing of seed] for you, so come to your place of cultivation however you wish and put forth [righteousness] for yourselves. And fear Allāh and know that you will meet Him. And give good tidings to the believers.
2:224
وَلَا تَجۡعَلُواْ ٱللَّهَ عُرۡضَةٗ لِّأَيۡمَٰنِكُمۡ أَن تَبَرُّواْ وَتَتَّقُواْ وَتُصۡلِحُواْ بَيۡنَ ٱلنَّاسِۚ وَٱللَّهُ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٞ ٢٢٤
And do not make [your oath by] Allāh an excuse against being righteous and fearing Allāh and making peace among people. And Allāh is Hearing and Knowing.
