وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ وَكَذَّبُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَآ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلنَّارِۖ هُمۡ فِيهَا خَٰلِدُونَ ٣٩
And those who disbelieve and deny Our signs - those will be companions of the Fire; they will abide therein eternally."

تفسير الآيتين 38 و 39 :ـ كرر الإهباط, ليرتب عليه ما ذكر وهو قوله: { فَإِمَّا يَأْتِيَنَّكُمْ مِنِّي هُدًى } أي: أيَّ وقت وزمان جاءكم مني -يا معشر الثقلين- هدى, أي: رسول وكتاب يهديكم لما يقربكم مني, ويدنيكم مني; ويدنيكم من رضائي، { فمن تبع هداي } منكم, بأن آمن برسلي وكتبي, واهتدى بهم, وذلك بتصديق جميع أخبار الرسل والكتب, والامتثال للأمر والاجتناب للنهي، { فَلَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ } وفي الآية الأخرى: { فَمَنِ اتَّبَعَ هُدَايَ فَلَا يَضِلُّ وَلَا يَشْقَى } فرتب على اتباع هداه أربعة أشياء: نفي الخوف والحزن والفرق بينهما, أن المكروه إن كان قد مضى, أحدث الحزن, وإن كان منتظرا, أحدث الخوف، فنفاهما عمن اتبع هداه وإذا انتفيا, حصل ضدهما, وهو الأمن التام، وكذلك نفي الضلال والشقاء عمن اتبع هداه وإذا انتفيا ثبت ضدهما، وهو الهدى والسعادة، فمن اتبع هداه, حصل له الأمن والسعادة الدنيوية والأخروية والهدى، وانتفى عنه كل مكروه, من الخوف, والحزن, والضلال, والشقاء، فحصل له المرغوب, واندفع عنه المرهوب، وهذا عكس من لم يتبع هداه, فكفر به, وكذب بآياته. فـ { أولئك أصحاب النار } أي: الملازمون لها, ملازمة الصاحب لصاحبه, والغريم لغريمه، { هُمْ فِيهَا خَالِدُونَ } لا يخرجون منها، ولا يفتر عنهم العذاب ولا هم ينصرون. وفي هذه الآيات وما أشبهها, انقسام الخلق من الجن والإنس, إلى أهل السعادة, وأهل الشقاوة, وفيها صفات الفريقين والأعمال الموجبة لذلك، وأن الجن كالإنس في الثواب والعقاب, كما أنهم مثلهم, في الأمر والنهي.

2:38
قُلۡنَا ٱهۡبِطُواْ مِنۡهَا جَمِيعٗاۖ فَإِمَّا يَأۡتِيَنَّكُم مِّنِّي هُدٗى فَمَن تَبِعَ هُدَايَ فَلَا خَوۡفٌ عَلَيۡهِمۡ وَلَا هُمۡ يَحۡزَنُونَ ٣٨
We said, "Go down from it, all of you. And when guidance comes to you from Me, whoever follows My guidance - there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve.
2:39
وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ وَكَذَّبُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَآ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلنَّارِۖ هُمۡ فِيهَا خَٰلِدُونَ ٣٩
And those who disbelieve and deny Our signs - those will be companions of the Fire; they will abide therein eternally."
2:40
يَٰبَنِيٓ إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ ٱذۡكُرُواْ نِعۡمَتِيَ ٱلَّتِيٓ أَنۡعَمۡتُ عَلَيۡكُمۡ وَأَوۡفُواْ بِعَهۡدِيٓ أُوفِ بِعَهۡدِكُمۡ وَإِيَّٰيَ فَٱرۡهَبُونِ ٤٠
O Children of Israel, remember My favor which I have bestowed upon you and fulfill My covenant [upon you] that I will fulfill your covenant [from Me], and be afraid of [only] Me.
2:41
وَءَامِنُواْ بِمَآ أَنزَلۡتُ مُصَدِّقٗا لِّمَا مَعَكُمۡ وَلَا تَكُونُوٓاْ أَوَّلَ كَافِرِۭ بِهِۦۖ وَلَا تَشۡتَرُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِي ثَمَنٗا قَلِيلٗا وَإِيَّٰيَ فَٱتَّقُونِ ٤١
And believe in what I have sent down confirming that which is [already] with you, and be not the first to disbelieve in it. And do not exchange My signs for a small price, and fear [only] Me.
2:42
وَلَا تَلۡبِسُواْ ٱلۡحَقَّ بِٱلۡبَٰطِلِ وَتَكۡتُمُواْ ٱلۡحَقَّ وَأَنتُمۡ تَعۡلَمُونَ ٤٢
And do not mix the truth with falsehood or conceal the truth while you know [it].
2:43
وَأَقِيمُواْ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَءَاتُواْ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَٱرۡكَعُواْ مَعَ ٱلرَّٰكِعِينَ ٤٣
And establish prayer and give zakāh1 and bow with those who bow [in worship and obedience].

2:44
۞ أَتَأۡمُرُونَ ٱلنَّاسَ بِٱلۡبِرِّ وَتَنسَوۡنَ أَنفُسَكُمۡ وَأَنتُمۡ تَتۡلُونَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَۚ أَفَلَا تَعۡقِلُونَ ٤٤
Do you order righteousness of the people and forget1 yourselves while you recite the Scripture? Then will you not reason?

2:45
وَٱسۡتَعِينُواْ بِٱلصَّبۡرِ وَٱلصَّلَوٰةِۚ وَإِنَّهَا لَكَبِيرَةٌ إِلَّا عَلَى ٱلۡخَٰشِعِينَ ٤٥
And seek help through patience and prayer; and indeed, it is difficult except for the humbly submissive [to Allāh]
2:46
ٱلَّذِينَ يَظُنُّونَ أَنَّهُم مُّلَٰقُواْ رَبِّهِمۡ وَأَنَّهُمۡ إِلَيۡهِ رَٰجِعُونَ ٤٦
Who are certain that they will meet their Lord and that they will return to Him.
2:47
يَٰبَنِيٓ إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ ٱذۡكُرُواْ نِعۡمَتِيَ ٱلَّتِيٓ أَنۡعَمۡتُ عَلَيۡكُمۡ وَأَنِّي فَضَّلۡتُكُمۡ عَلَى ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ ٤٧
O Children of Israel, remember My favor that I have bestowed upon you and that I preferred you over the worlds [i.e., peoples].
2:48
وَٱتَّقُواْ يَوۡمٗا لَّا تَجۡزِي نَفۡسٌ عَن نَّفۡسٖ شَيۡـٔٗا وَلَا يُقۡبَلُ مِنۡهَا شَفَٰعَةٞ وَلَا يُؤۡخَذُ مِنۡهَا عَدۡلٞ وَلَا هُمۡ يُنصَرُونَ ٤٨
And fear a Day when no soul will suffice for another soul1 at all, nor will intercession be accepted from it, nor will compensation be taken from it, nor will they be aided.
