Al-Furqan 25:69

يُضَٰعَفۡ لَهُ ٱلۡعَذَابُ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ وَيَخۡلُدۡ فِيهِۦ مُهَانًا ٦٩
Multiplied for him is the punishment on the Day of Resurrection, and he will abide therein humiliated -

Commentary on 25:69
٦٩ -﴿يُضَٰعَفۡ﴾ [وفي قراءة:(يُضعَّفْ) بالتشديد] أي: يكرّر عليه ويغلّظ ﴿لَهُ ٱلۡعَذَابُ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ وَيَخۡلُدۡ فِيهِۦ﴾ أي: في العذاب المضاعف﴿مُهَانًا﴾ أي: ذليلا حقيراً ، وهي حال.وقوله:(يضاعفْ) و (يخلدْ) بجزم الفعلين بدلاً من قوله:(يلق أثاماً).[وفي قراءة برفعهما استئنافا: (يضاعَفُ) و (يُضعَّفُ) و(يخلدُ)].والوعيد بالخلود في النار ثابت في حقّ من أشرك بالله ، وكذلك من ضمّ كبيرة القتل والزنا إلى الإشراك بالله .أما خلود القاتل والزاني في العذاب، فغير متناول في هذه الآية، لأن النصوص القرآنية و الأحاديث النبوية قد دلّت على أن جميع المؤمنين سيخرجون من النار ، ولا يخلد فيها مؤمن – غير مشرك بالله – ولو فعل من المعاصي ما فعل .ونصّ تعالى على هذه الثلاثة لأنها أكبر الكبائر: فالشرك فيه فساد الأديان ، والقتل فيه فساد الأبدان ، والزنا فيه فساد الأعراض.

25:68
وَٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَدۡعُونَ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَٰهًا ءَاخَرَ وَلَا يَقۡتُلُونَ ٱلنَّفۡسَ ٱلَّتِي حَرَّمَ ٱللَّهُ إِلَّا بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَلَا يَزۡنُونَۚ وَمَن يَفۡعَلۡ ذَٰلِكَ يَلۡقَ أَثَامٗا ٦٨
And those who do not invoke1 with Allāh another deity or kill the soul which Allāh has forbidden [to be killed], except by right, and do not commit unlawful sexual intercourse. And whoever should do that will meet a penalty.

25:69
يُضَٰعَفۡ لَهُ ٱلۡعَذَابُ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ وَيَخۡلُدۡ فِيهِۦ مُهَانًا ٦٩
Multiplied for him is the punishment on the Day of Resurrection, and he will abide therein humiliated -
25:70
إِلَّا مَن تَابَ وَءَامَنَ وَعَمِلَ عَمَلٗا صَٰلِحٗا فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ يُبَدِّلُ ٱللَّهُ سَيِّـَٔاتِهِمۡ حَسَنَٰتٖۗ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ غَفُورٗا رَّحِيمٗا ٧٠
Except for those who repent, believe and do righteous work. For them Allāh will replace their evil deeds with good. And ever is Allāh Forgiving and Merciful.
25:71
وَمَن تَابَ وَعَمِلَ صَٰلِحٗا فَإِنَّهُۥ يَتُوبُ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ مَتَابٗا ٧١
And he who repents and does righteousness does indeed turn to Allāh with [accepted] repentance.
25:72
وَٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَشۡهَدُونَ ٱلزُّورَ وَإِذَا مَرُّواْ بِٱللَّغۡوِ مَرُّواْ كِرَامٗا ٧٢
And [they are] those who do not testify to falsehood, and when they pass near ill speech, they pass by with dignity.
25:73
وَٱلَّذِينَ إِذَا ذُكِّرُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِ رَبِّهِمۡ لَمۡ يَخِرُّواْ عَلَيۡهَا صُمّٗا وَعُمۡيَانٗا ٧٣
And those who, when reminded of the verses of their Lord, do not fall upon them deaf and blind.
25:74
وَٱلَّذِينَ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا هَبۡ لَنَا مِنۡ أَزۡوَٰجِنَا وَذُرِّيَّٰتِنَا قُرَّةَ أَعۡيُنٖ وَٱجۡعَلۡنَا لِلۡمُتَّقِينَ إِمَامًا ٧٤
And those who say, "Our Lord, grant us from among our wives and offspring comfort to our eyes1 and make us a leader [i.e., example] for the righteous."

25:75
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ يُجۡزَوۡنَ ٱلۡغُرۡفَةَ بِمَا صَبَرُواْ وَيُلَقَّوۡنَ فِيهَا تَحِيَّةٗ وَسَلَٰمًا ٧٥
Those will be awarded the Chamber1 for what they patiently endured, and they will be received therein with greetings and [words of] peace,

25:76
خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَاۚ حَسُنَتۡ مُسۡتَقَرّٗا وَمُقَامٗا ٧٦
Abiding eternally therein. Good is the settlement and residence.
25:77
قُلۡ مَا يَعۡبَؤُاْ بِكُمۡ رَبِّي لَوۡلَا دُعَآؤُكُمۡۖ فَقَدۡ كَذَّبۡتُمۡ فَسَوۡفَ يَكُونُ لِزَامَۢا ٧٧
Say, "What would my Lord care for you if not for your supplication?"1 For you [disbelievers] have denied, so it [i.e., your denial] is going to be adherent.2
