Al-'Ankabut 29:25

وَقَالَ إِنَّمَا ٱتَّخَذۡتُم مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ أَوۡثَٰنٗا مَّوَدَّةَ بَيۡنِكُمۡ فِي ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡيَاۖ ثُمَّ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ يَكۡفُرُ بَعۡضُكُم بِبَعۡضٖ وَيَلۡعَنُ بَعۡضُكُم بَعۡضٗا وَمَأۡوَىٰكُمُ ٱلنَّارُ وَمَا لَكُم مِّن نَّٰصِرِينَ ٢٥
And [Abraham] said, "You have only taken, other than Allāh, idols as [a bond of] affection among you in worldly life. Then on the Day of Resurrection you will deny one another and curse one another, and your refuge will be the Fire, and you will not have any helpers."

Commentary on 29:25
﴿وقال إنما اتخذتم من دون الله أوثانا مودة بينكم في الحياة الدنيا﴾: الواو عاطفة، وقال فعل ماض، والفاعل مستتر، وإنما كافة ومكفوفة، واتخذتم فعل، وفاعل، و﴿من دون الله﴾ الجار والمجرور متعلقان بمحذوف مفعول ثان لـ﴿اتخذتم﴾، ولفظ الجلالة مضاف إليه، وأوثانًا مفعول به أول لـ﴿اتخذتم﴾، و﴿مودة﴾ مفعول لأجله، أو منصوبة بفعل محذوف، تقديره: أعني، و﴿بينِكم﴾ مضاف إليه، و﴿في الحياة الدنيا﴾ جار ومجرور متعلقان بـ﴿اتخذتم﴾، أو بمحذوف حال، والدنيا مضاف إليه.
﴿ثم يوم القيامة يكفر بعضكم ببعض ويلعن بعضكم بعضا﴾: ثم حرف عطف للتراخي، ويوم القيامة: ظرف متعلق بـ﴿يكفر﴾، والقيامة: مضاف إليه، ويكفر: فعل مضارع، وبعضكم: فاعل، وببعض: جار ومجرور متعلقان بـ﴿يكفر﴾ أيضًا، ﴿ويلعن بعضكم بعضًا﴾: فعل مضارع، وفاعل، ومفعول به.
﴿ومأواكم النار وما لكم من ناصرين﴾: مأواكم: مبتدأ، والنار: خبر. ﴿وما لكم﴾: الواو عاطفة، وما نافية، ولكم جار ومجرور متعلقان بخبر مقدم، ومن: حرف صلة، وناصرين مبتدأ مؤخر، وهو مجرور لفظًا.

29:24
فَمَا كَانَ جَوَابَ قَوۡمِهِۦٓ إِلَّآ أَن قَالُواْ ٱقۡتُلُوهُ أَوۡ حَرِّقُوهُ فَأَنجَىٰهُ ٱللَّهُ مِنَ ٱلنَّارِۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَٰتٖ لِّقَوۡمٖ يُؤۡمِنُونَ ٢٤
And the answer of his [i.e., Abraham's] people was not but that they said, "Kill him or burn him," but Allāh saved him from the fire. Indeed in that are signs for a people who believe.
29:25

29:26
۞ فَـَٔامَنَ لَهُۥ لُوطٞۘ وَقَالَ إِنِّي مُهَاجِرٌ إِلَىٰ رَبِّيٓۖ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلۡحَكِيمُ ٢٦
And Lot believed him. [Abraham] said, "Indeed, I will emigrate to [the service of] my Lord. Indeed, He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise."
29:27
وَوَهَبۡنَا لَهُۥٓ إِسۡحَٰقَ وَيَعۡقُوبَ وَجَعَلۡنَا فِي ذُرِّيَّتِهِ ٱلنُّبُوَّةَ وَٱلۡكِتَٰبَ وَءَاتَيۡنَٰهُ أَجۡرَهُۥ فِي ٱلدُّنۡيَاۖ وَإِنَّهُۥ فِي ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ لَمِنَ ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ ٢٧
And We gave to him Isaac and Jacob and placed in his descendants prophethood and scripture. And We gave him his reward in this world, and indeed, he is in the Hereafter among the righteous.
29:28
وَلُوطًا إِذۡ قَالَ لِقَوۡمِهِۦٓ إِنَّكُمۡ لَتَأۡتُونَ ٱلۡفَٰحِشَةَ مَا سَبَقَكُم بِهَا مِنۡ أَحَدٖ مِّنَ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ ٢٨
And [mention] Lot, when he said to his people, "Indeed, you commit such immorality as no one has preceded you with from among the worlds.
29:29
أَئِنَّكُمۡ لَتَأۡتُونَ ٱلرِّجَالَ وَتَقۡطَعُونَ ٱلسَّبِيلَ وَتَأۡتُونَ فِي نَادِيكُمُ ٱلۡمُنكَرَۖ فَمَا كَانَ جَوَابَ قَوۡمِهِۦٓ إِلَّآ أَن قَالُواْ ٱئۡتِنَا بِعَذَابِ ٱللَّهِ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ ٢٩
Indeed, you approach men and obstruct the road1 and commit in your meetings [every] evil." And the answer of his people was not but that they said, "Bring us the punishment of Allāh, if you should be of the truthful."

29:30
قَالَ رَبِّ ٱنصُرۡنِي عَلَى ٱلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلۡمُفۡسِدِينَ ٣٠
He said, "My Lord, support me against the corrupting people."
