Al-'Ankabut 29:60

وَكَأَيِّن مِّن دَآبَّةٖ لَّا تَحۡمِلُ رِزۡقَهَا ٱللَّهُ يَرۡزُقُهَا وَإِيَّاكُمۡۚ وَهُوَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلۡعَلِيمُ ٦٠
And how many a creature carries not its [own] provision. Allāh provides for it and for you. And He is the Hearing, the Knowing.

Commentary on 29:60
اور کتنے ہی زمین پر چلنے والے (جانور) ہیں کہ نہیں اٹھائے پھرتے وہ رزق اپنا، اللہ ہی رزق دیتا ہے ان کو اور تمھیں بھی، اور وہی ہے خوب سننے والا، خوب جاننے والا(60)
[60] اللہ تبارک و تعالیٰ نے تمام مخلوقات، خواہ وہ عاجز ہوں یا طاقت ور، سب کے رزق کا ذمہ لیا ہے۔ ﴿مِّنۡ دَآبَّةٍ ﴾ روئے زمین پر کتنے ہی کمزور اعضا اور کمزور عقل والے چوپائے ہیں ﴿لَّا تَحۡمِلُ رِزۡقَهَا ﴾ ’’جو اپنا رزق نہیں اٹھائے پھرتے‘‘ اور نہ وہ ذخیرہ کرتے ہیں بلکہ ان کے پاس رزق کے لیے کوئی چیز ہوتی ہی نہیں، مگر اللہ تبارک و تعالیٰ انھیں وقت پر رزق مہیا کرتا ہے۔ ﴿اَللّٰهُ يَرۡزُقُهَا وَاِيَّاكُمۡ ﴾ ’’اللہ ہی ان کو رزق دیتا ہے اور تم کو بھی۔‘‘ تم سب اللہ تعالیٰ کی کفالت میں ہو جو تمھارے رزق کا اسی طرح انتظام کرتا ہے جس طرح اس نے تمھاری تخلیق اور تدبیر کی ہے۔ ﴿وَهُوَ السَّمِيۡعُ الۡعَلِيۡمُ ﴾ ’’اور وہ سننے والا جاننے والا ہے۔‘‘ اس پر کوئی چیز مخفی نہیں۔ کوئی جانور عدم رزق کی بنا پر ہلاک نہیں ہوتا کہ وہ اللہ تعالیٰ سے چھپا رہ گیا اور اسے رزق مہیا نہ ہو سکا جیسا کہ اللہ تعالیٰ کا ارشاد ہے: ﴿وَمَا مِنۡ دَآبَّةٍ فِي الۡاَرۡضِ اِلَّا عَلَى اللّٰهِ رِزۡقُهَا وَيَعۡلَمُ مُسۡتَقَرَّهَا وَمُسۡتَوۡدَعَهَا١ؕ كُلٌّ فِيۡؔ كِتٰبٍ مُّبِيۡنٍ ﴾(ہود:11؍6) ’’اور زمین پر چلنے والا کوئی جان دار ایسا نہیں جس کے رزق کی کفالت اللہ کے ذمہ نہ ہو وہ جانتا ہے کہ کہاں اس کا ٹھکانا ہے اور کہاں اسے سونپا جانا ہے ہر چیز ایک واضح کتاب میں درج ہے۔‘‘

29:53
وَيَسۡتَعۡجِلُونَكَ بِٱلۡعَذَابِ وَلَوۡلَآ أَجَلٞ مُّسَمّٗى لَّجَآءَهُمُ ٱلۡعَذَابُۚ وَلَيَأۡتِيَنَّهُم بَغۡتَةٗ وَهُمۡ لَا يَشۡعُرُونَ ٥٣
And they urge you to hasten the punishment. And if not for [the decree of] a specified term, punishment would have reached them. But it will surely come to them suddenly while they perceive not.
29:54
يَسۡتَعۡجِلُونَكَ بِٱلۡعَذَابِ وَإِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ لَمُحِيطَةُۢ بِٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ ٥٤
They urge you to hasten the punishment. And indeed, Hell will be encompassing of the disbelievers
29:55
يَوۡمَ يَغۡشَىٰهُمُ ٱلۡعَذَابُ مِن فَوۡقِهِمۡ وَمِن تَحۡتِ أَرۡجُلِهِمۡ وَيَقُولُ ذُوقُواْ مَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ ٥٥
On the Day the punishment will cover them from above them and from below their feet and it is said, "Taste [the result of] what you used to do."
29:56
يَٰعِبَادِيَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ إِنَّ أَرۡضِي وَٰسِعَةٞ فَإِيَّٰيَ فَٱعۡبُدُونِ ٥٦
O My servants who have believed, indeed My earth is spacious, so worship only Me.
29:57
كُلُّ نَفۡسٖ ذَآئِقَةُ ٱلۡمَوۡتِۖ ثُمَّ إِلَيۡنَا تُرۡجَعُونَ ٥٧
Every soul will taste death. Then to Us will you be returned.
29:58
وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ لَنُبَوِّئَنَّهُم مِّنَ ٱلۡجَنَّةِ غُرَفٗا تَجۡرِي مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَاۚ نِعۡمَ أَجۡرُ ٱلۡعَٰمِلِينَ ٥٨
And those who have believed and done righteous deeds - We will surely assign to them of Paradise [elevated] chambers beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide eternally. Excellent is the reward of the [righteous] workers
29:59
ٱلَّذِينَ صَبَرُواْ وَعَلَىٰ رَبِّهِمۡ يَتَوَكَّلُونَ ٥٩
Who have been patient and upon their Lord rely.
29:60
وَكَأَيِّن مِّن دَآبَّةٖ لَّا تَحۡمِلُ رِزۡقَهَا ٱللَّهُ يَرۡزُقُهَا وَإِيَّاكُمۡۚ وَهُوَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلۡعَلِيمُ ٦٠
And how many a creature carries not its [own] provision. Allāh provides for it and for you. And He is the Hearing, the Knowing.
29:61
وَلَئِن سَأَلۡتَهُم مَّنۡ خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ وَسَخَّرَ ٱلشَّمۡسَ وَٱلۡقَمَرَ لَيَقُولُنَّ ٱللَّهُۖ فَأَنَّىٰ يُؤۡفَكُونَ ٦١
If you asked them, "Who created the heavens and earth and subjected the sun and the moon?" they would surely say, "Allāh." Then how are they deluded?
29:62
ٱللَّهُ يَبۡسُطُ ٱلرِّزۡقَ لِمَن يَشَآءُ مِنۡ عِبَادِهِۦ وَيَقۡدِرُ لَهُۥٓۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ بِكُلِّ شَيۡءٍ عَلِيمٞ ٦٢
Allāh extends provision for whom He wills of His servants and restricts for him. Indeed Allāh is, of all things, Knowing.
29:63
وَلَئِن سَأَلۡتَهُم مَّن نَّزَّلَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءٗ فَأَحۡيَا بِهِ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ مَوۡتِهَا لَيَقُولُنَّ ٱللَّهُۚ قُلِ ٱلۡحَمۡدُ لِلَّهِۚ بَلۡ أَكۡثَرُهُمۡ لَا يَعۡقِلُونَ ٦٣
And if you asked them, "Who sends down rain from the sky and gives life thereby to the earth after its lifelessness?" they would surely say, "Allāh." Say, "Praise to Allāh"; but most of them do not reason.
