تِلۡكَ ءَايَٰتُ ٱللَّهِ نَتۡلُوهَا عَلَيۡكَ بِٱلۡحَقِّۗ وَمَا ٱللَّهُ يُرِيدُ ظُلۡمٗا لِّلۡعَٰلَمِينَ ١٠٨
These are the verses of Allāh. We recite them to you, [O Muḥammad], in truth; and Allāh wants no injustice to the worlds [i.e., His creatures].

Commentary on 3:108
﴿تِلۡكَ ءَایَـٰتُ ٱللَّهِ نَتۡلُوهَا عَلَیۡكَ بِٱلۡحَقِّۗ وَمَا ٱللَّهُ یُرِیدُ ظُلۡمࣰا لِّلۡعَـٰلَمِینَ ١٠٨﴾ - تفسير
١٤١٤٧- قال مقاتل بن سليمان: ﴿وما الله يريد ظلما للعالمين﴾، فيُعَذِّب على غير ذنب[[تفسير مقاتل بن سليمان ١/٢٩٤.]]. (ز)
﴿تِلۡكَ ءَایَـٰتُ ٱللَّهِ نَتۡلُوهَا عَلَیۡكَ بِٱلۡحَقِّۗ وَمَا ٱللَّهُ یُرِیدُ ظُلۡمࣰا لِّلۡعَـٰلَمِینَ ١٠٨﴾ - آثار متعلقة بالآية
١٤١٤٨- عن عائشة، قالت: سألتُ رسول الله ﷺ: هل تأتي عليك ساعةٌ لا تَمْلِك فيها لأحد شفاعة؟ قال: «نعم، يوم تبيض وجوه وتسود وجوه، حتى أنظر ما يُفعل بي». أو قال: «بوجهي»[[أخرجه ابن أبي حاتم ٣/٧٢٨ (٣٩٤٨).
قال السيوطي: «بسند فيه من لا يُعْرَف».]]. (٣/٧٢٤)
١٤١٤٩- عن عبد الله بن عباس، قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ: «المصيبة تُبَيِّضُ وجه صاحبها يوم تَسْوَدُّ الوجوه»[[أخرجه الطبراني في الأوسط ٥/٤١ (٤٦٢٢).
قال الطبراني: «لم يروِ شعيب بن عبد الله بن عمرو عن ابن عباس حديثًا غير هذا، وتفرد به ابن أبي أويس». وقال الهيثمي في المجمع ٢/٢٩١ (٣٧٣٤): «فيه سليمان بن رقاع، وهو منكر الحديث». وقال الألباني في الضعيفة ١٠/٢٠٧ (٤٦٧٨): «ضعيف».]]. (٣/٧٢٤)
١٤١٥٠- عن علي بن أبي طالب -من طريق الحارث الأعور- أنّه قال وهو على المنبر: إنّ الرجل لَيخرج من أهله، فما يؤوب إليهم حتى يعمل عملًا يستوجب به الجنة، وإنّ الرجل ليخرج من أهله، فما يعود إليهم حتى يعمل عملًا يستوجب به النار. ثمّ قرأ: ﴿يَوْمَ تَبْيَضُّ وُجُوهٌ وتَسْوَدُّ وُجُوهٌ﴾ الآية[[تفسير الثعلبي ٣/١٢٥، وتفسير البغوي ٤/٨٨.]]. 3:101
وَكَيۡفَ تَكۡفُرُونَ وَأَنتُمۡ تُتۡلَىٰ عَلَيۡكُمۡ ءَايَٰتُ ٱللَّهِ وَفِيكُمۡ رَسُولُهُۥۗ وَمَن يَعۡتَصِم بِٱللَّهِ فَقَدۡ هُدِيَ إِلَىٰ صِرَٰطٖ مُّسۡتَقِيمٖ ١٠١
And how could you disbelieve while to you are being recited the verses of Allāh and among you is His Messenger? And whoever holds firmly to Allāh1 has [indeed] been guided to a straight path.

3:102
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ ٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ حَقَّ تُقَاتِهِۦ وَلَا تَمُوتُنَّ إِلَّا وَأَنتُم مُّسۡلِمُونَ ١٠٢
O you who have believed, fear Allāh as He should be feared and do not die except as Muslims [in submission to Him].
3:103
وَٱعۡتَصِمُواْ بِحَبۡلِ ٱللَّهِ جَمِيعٗا وَلَا تَفَرَّقُواْۚ وَٱذۡكُرُواْ نِعۡمَتَ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيۡكُمۡ إِذۡ كُنتُمۡ أَعۡدَآءٗ فَأَلَّفَ بَيۡنَ قُلُوبِكُمۡ فَأَصۡبَحۡتُم بِنِعۡمَتِهِۦٓ إِخۡوَٰنٗا وَكُنتُمۡ عَلَىٰ شَفَا حُفۡرَةٖ مِّنَ ٱلنَّارِ فَأَنقَذَكُم مِّنۡهَاۗ كَذَٰلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ ٱللَّهُ لَكُمۡ ءَايَٰتِهِۦ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَهۡتَدُونَ ١٠٣
And hold firmly to the rope1 of Allāh all together and do not become divided. And remember the favor of Allāh upon you - when you were enemies and He brought your hearts together and you became, by His favor, brothers. And you were on the edge of a pit of the Fire, and He saved you from it. Thus does Allāh make clear to you His verses that you may be guided.

3:104
وَلۡتَكُن مِّنكُمۡ أُمَّةٞ يَدۡعُونَ إِلَى ٱلۡخَيۡرِ وَيَأۡمُرُونَ بِٱلۡمَعۡرُوفِ وَيَنۡهَوۡنَ عَنِ ٱلۡمُنكَرِۚ وَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡمُفۡلِحُونَ ١٠٤
And let there be [arising] from you a nation inviting to [all that is] good, enjoining what is right and forbidding what is wrong,1 and those will be the successful.

3:105
وَلَا تَكُونُواْ كَٱلَّذِينَ تَفَرَّقُواْ وَٱخۡتَلَفُواْ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ مَا جَآءَهُمُ ٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتُۚ وَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ لَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٞ ١٠٥
And do not be like the ones who became divided and differed after the clear proofs had come to them. And those will have a great punishment
3:106
يَوۡمَ تَبۡيَضُّ وُجُوهٞ وَتَسۡوَدُّ وُجُوهٞۚ فَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ٱسۡوَدَّتۡ وُجُوهُهُمۡ أَكَفَرۡتُم بَعۡدَ إِيمَٰنِكُمۡ فَذُوقُواْ ٱلۡعَذَابَ بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَكۡفُرُونَ ١٠٦
On the Day [some] faces will turn white and [some] faces will turn black. As for those whose faces turn black, [to them it will be said], "Did you disbelieve [i.e., reject faith] after your belief? Then taste the punishment for what you used to reject."
3:107
وَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ٱبۡيَضَّتۡ وُجُوهُهُمۡ فَفِي رَحۡمَةِ ٱللَّهِۖ هُمۡ فِيهَا خَٰلِدُونَ ١٠٧
But as for those whose faces turn white, [they will be] within the mercy of Allāh. They will abide therein eternally.
3:108
