Ali 'Imran 3:117

مَثَلُ مَا يُنفِقُونَ فِي هَٰذِهِ ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡيَا كَمَثَلِ رِيحٖ فِيهَا صِرٌّ أَصَابَتۡ حَرۡثَ قَوۡمٖ ظَلَمُوٓاْ أَنفُسَهُمۡ فَأَهۡلَكَتۡهُۚ وَمَا ظَلَمَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ وَلَٰكِنۡ أَنفُسَهُمۡ يَظۡلِمُونَ ١١٧
The example of what they spend in this worldly life is like that of a wind containing frost which strikes the harvest of a people who have wronged themselves [i.e., sinned] and destroys it. And Allāh has not wronged them, but they wrong themselves.

Gjithçka që ata(jobesimtarët)shpenzojnë në këtë jetë(kundër të vërtetës), është si një furtunë e acartë, e cila godet e shkatërron të mbjellat e një populli që e ka dëmtuar vetveten me padrejtësitë e tij. -Këtu tregohet se si është shembulli i pasurisë që qafirët e shpenzojnë për të penguar njerëzit nga rruga e Zotit dhe nëpërmjet të cilës kërkojnë të shuajnë dritën e Tij. Allahu i Lartësuar na tregon se përpjekjet e tyre do të shkojnë kot, pa ia arritur qëllimit, ashtu sikurse ndodh me dikë që mbjell një arë dhe shpreson shumë të arrijë prodhime të larta, por në momentin që ai pret frytet aq shumë të ëndërruara, vjen një stuhi me erë të fortë dhe të acartë. Kjo “furtunë” u shkakton të padrejtëve veçse lodhje të kotë dhe dëshpërim të madh. E tillë është, pra, edhe gjendja e mohuesve të Zotit. Në një ajet tjetër, Allahu i Lartësuar thotë: “Ata që nuk besojnë, e shpenzojnë pasurinë e tyre për t'i penguar njerëzit nga rruga e Allahut. Dhe kështu do të vijojnë ata ta shpenzojnë atë; por në fund ata do të kenë vetëm dëshpërim; dhe pastaj ata do të mposhten. Të gjithë mohuesit do të grumbullohen në Xhehenem.” [Enfalë 36]. Ose: “Ata duan ta shuajnë dritën e Allahut me gojën e tyre. Por Allahu veçse do ta përkryejë dritën e Tij edhe pse jobesimtarët e urrejnë (këtë). Është Ai që e dërgoi të Dërguarin e Tij me udhëzim (të qartë) e fe të vërtetë, për ta lartësuar atë mbi të gjitha fetë, edhe pse (këtë)e urrejnë idhujtarët.” [Teube 32, 33].Allahu nuk u bën padrejtësi atyre, por janë ata që i bëjnë padrejtësi vetes së vet. -Kur ata mohojnë dhe nuk pranojnë t’u binden librave të Zotit, kur refuzojnë të binden dhe të pasojnë profetët e Tij, kur punojnë dhe përpiqen për të shuar dritën e Allahut, ata dëshmojnë se janë mosmirënjohës dhe dëmtues të vetvetes. Me këtë sjellje, ata i shkatërrojnë dhe asgjësojnë të gjitha veprat e tyre. Pastaj thotë i Lartësuari:

3:116
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لَن تُغۡنِيَ عَنۡهُمۡ أَمۡوَٰلُهُمۡ وَلَآ أَوۡلَٰدُهُم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ شَيۡـٔٗاۖ وَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلنَّارِۖ هُمۡ فِيهَا خَٰلِدُونَ ١١٦
Indeed, those who disbelieve - never will their wealth or their children avail them against Allāh at all, and those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide therein eternally.
3:117

3:118
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ لَا تَتَّخِذُواْ بِطَانَةٗ مِّن دُونِكُمۡ لَا يَأۡلُونَكُمۡ خَبَالٗا وَدُّواْ مَا عَنِتُّمۡ قَدۡ بَدَتِ ٱلۡبَغۡضَآءُ مِنۡ أَفۡوَٰهِهِمۡ وَمَا تُخۡفِي صُدُورُهُمۡ أَكۡبَرُۚ قَدۡ بَيَّنَّا لَكُمُ ٱلۡأٓيَٰتِۖ إِن كُنتُمۡ تَعۡقِلُونَ ١١٨
O you who have believed, do not take as intimates those other than yourselves [i.e., believers], for they will not spare you [any] ruin. They wish you would have hardship. Hatred has already appeared from their mouths, and what their breasts conceal is greater. We have certainly made clear to you the signs, if you will use reason.
3:119
هَٰٓأَنتُمۡ أُوْلَآءِ تُحِبُّونَهُمۡ وَلَا يُحِبُّونَكُمۡ وَتُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱلۡكِتَٰبِ كُلِّهِۦ وَإِذَا لَقُوكُمۡ قَالُوٓاْ ءَامَنَّا وَإِذَا خَلَوۡاْ عَضُّواْ عَلَيۡكُمُ ٱلۡأَنَامِلَ مِنَ ٱلۡغَيۡظِۚ قُلۡ مُوتُواْ بِغَيۡظِكُمۡۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلِيمُۢ بِذَاتِ ٱلصُّدُورِ ١١٩
Here you are loving them but they are not loving you, while you believe in the Scripture - all of it.1 And when they meet you, they say, "We believe." But when they are alone, they bite their fingertips at you in rage. Say, "Die in your rage. Indeed, Allāh is Knowing of that within the breasts."

3:120
إِن تَمۡسَسۡكُمۡ حَسَنَةٞ تَسُؤۡهُمۡ وَإِن تُصِبۡكُمۡ سَيِّئَةٞ يَفۡرَحُواْ بِهَاۖ وَإِن تَصۡبِرُواْ وَتَتَّقُواْ لَا يَضُرُّكُمۡ كَيۡدُهُمۡ شَيۡـًٔاۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ بِمَا يَعۡمَلُونَ مُحِيطٞ ١٢٠
If good touches you, it distresses them; but if harm strikes you, they rejoice at it. And if you are patient and fear Allāh, their plot will not harm you at all. Indeed, Allāh is encompassing of what they do.
3:121
وَإِذۡ غَدَوۡتَ مِنۡ أَهۡلِكَ تُبَوِّئُ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ مَقَٰعِدَ لِلۡقِتَالِۗ وَٱللَّهُ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ ١٢١
And [remember] when you, [O Muḥammad], left your family in the morning to post the believers at their stations for the battle [of Uḥud] - and Allāh is Hearing and Knowing -
