وَلَا يَحۡسَبَنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَبۡخَلُونَ بِمَآ ءَاتَىٰهُمُ ٱللَّهُ مِن فَضۡلِهِۦ هُوَ خَيۡرٗا لَّهُمۖ بَلۡ هُوَ شَرّٞ لَّهُمۡۖ سَيُطَوَّقُونَ مَا بَخِلُواْ بِهِۦ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِۗ وَلِلَّهِ مِيرَٰثُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۗ وَٱللَّهُ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ خَبِيرٞ ١٨٠
And let not those who [greedily] withhold what Allāh has given them of His bounty ever think that it is better for them. Rather, it is worse for them. Their necks will be encircled by what they withheld on the Day of Resurrection. And to Allāh belongs the heritage of the heavens and the earth. And Allāh, of what you do, is [fully] Aware.

Commentary on 3:180
• ﴿وَ﴾ حرف استئنافية، ﴿لَا﴾ حرف نفي.
• ﴿يَحْسَبَ﴾ فعل مضارع من الثلاثي مجرد، من مادّة حسب، غائب، مذكر، مفرد، مرفوع، ﴿نَّ﴾ لام التوكيد.
• ﴿ٱلَّذِينَ﴾ اسم موصول، مذكر، جمع.
• ﴿يَبْخَلُ﴾ فعل مضارع من الثلاثي مجرد، من مادّة بخل، غائب، مذكر، جمع، مرفوع، ﴿ونَ﴾ ضمير، غائب، مذكر، جمع.
• ﴿بِ﴾ حرف جر، ﴿مَآ﴾ اسم موصول.
• ﴿ءَاتَىٰ﴾ فعل ماض مزيد الرباعي باب (أَفْعَلَ)، من مادّة أتي، غائب، مذكر، مفرد، ﴿هُمُ﴾ ضمير، غائب، مذكر، جمع.
• ﴿ٱللَّهُ﴾ علم، من مادّة أله.
• ﴿مِن﴾ حرف جر.
• ﴿فَضْلِ﴾ اسم، من مادّة فضل، مذكر، مجرور، ﴿هِۦ﴾ ضمير، غائب، مذكر، مفرد.
• ﴿هُوَ﴾ ضمير، غائب، مذكر، مفرد.
• ﴿خَيْرًا﴾ اسم، من مادّة خير، مذكر، مفرد، نكرة، منصوب.
• ﴿لَّ﴾ حرف جر، ﴿هُم﴾ ضمير، غائب، مذكر، جمع.
• ﴿بَلْ﴾ حرف ابتداء.
• ﴿هُوَ﴾ ضمير، غائب، مذكر، مفرد.
• ﴿شَرٌّ﴾ اسم، من مادّة شرر، مذكر، مفرد، نكرة، مرفوع.
• ﴿لَّ﴾ حرف جر، ﴿هُمْ﴾ ضمير، غائب، مذكر، جمع.
• ﴿سَ﴾ حرف استقبال، ﴿يُطَوَّقُ﴾ فعل مضارع من مزيد الرباعي باب (فَعَّلَ)، لم يسمّ فاعله، من مادّة طوق، غائب، مذكر، جمع، مرفوع، ﴿ونَ﴾ ضمير، غائب، مذكر، جمع.
• ﴿مَا﴾ اسم موصول.
• ﴿بَخِلُ﴾ فعل ماض ثلاثي مجرد، من مادّة بخل، غائب، مذكر، جمع، ﴿وا۟﴾ ضمير، غائب، مذكر، جمع.
• ﴿بِ﴾ حرف جر، ﴿هِۦ﴾ ضمير، غائب، مذكر، مفرد.
• ﴿يَوْمَ﴾ ظرف زمان، من مادّة يوم، مذكر.
• ﴿ٱلْ﴾، ﴿قِيَٰمَةِ﴾ اسم، من مادّة قوم، مؤنث، مجرور.
• ﴿وَ﴾ حرف استئنافية، ﴿لِ﴾ حرف جر، ﴿لَّهِ﴾ علم، من مادّة أله.
• ﴿مِيرَٰثُ﴾ اسم، من مادّة ورث، مذكر، مرفوع.
• ﴿ٱل﴾، ﴿سَّمَٰوَٰتِ﴾ اسم، من مادّة سمو، مؤنث، جمع، مجرور.
• ﴿وَ﴾ حرف عطف، ﴿ٱلْ﴾، ﴿أَرْضِ﴾ اسم، من مادّة أرض، مؤنث، مجرور.
• ﴿وَ﴾ حرف استئنافية، ﴿ٱللَّهُ﴾ علم، من مادّة أله.
• ﴿بِ﴾ حرف جر، ﴿مَا﴾ اسم موصول.
• ﴿تَعْمَلُ﴾ فعل مضارع من الثلاثي مجرد، من مادّة عمل، مخاطب، مذكر، جمع، مرفوع، ﴿ونَ﴾ ضمير، مخاطب، مذكر، جمع.
• ﴿خَبِيرٌ﴾ اسم، من مادّة خبر، مذكر، مفرد، نكرة، مرفوع.

3:174
فَٱنقَلَبُواْ بِنِعۡمَةٖ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَفَضۡلٖ لَّمۡ يَمۡسَسۡهُمۡ سُوٓءٞ وَٱتَّبَعُواْ رِضۡوَٰنَ ٱللَّهِۗ وَٱللَّهُ ذُو فَضۡلٍ عَظِيمٍ ١٧٤
So they returned with favor from Allāh and bounty, no harm having touched them. And they pursued the pleasure of Allāh, and Allāh is the possessor of great bounty.
3:175
إِنَّمَا ذَٰلِكُمُ ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُ يُخَوِّفُ أَوۡلِيَآءَهُۥ فَلَا تَخَافُوهُمۡ وَخَافُونِ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤۡمِنِينَ ١٧٥
That is only Satan who frightens [you] of his supporters. So fear them not, but fear Me, if you are [indeed] believers.
3:176
وَلَا يَحۡزُنكَ ٱلَّذِينَ يُسَٰرِعُونَ فِي ٱلۡكُفۡرِۚ إِنَّهُمۡ لَن يَضُرُّواْ ٱللَّهَ شَيۡـٔٗاۚ يُرِيدُ ٱللَّهُ أَلَّا يَجۡعَلَ لَهُمۡ حَظّٗا فِي ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِۖ وَلَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ ١٧٦
And do not be grieved, [O Muḥammad], by those who hasten into disbelief. Indeed, they will never harm Allāh at all. Allāh intends that He should give them no share in the Hereafter, and for them is a great punishment.
3:177
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱشۡتَرَوُاْ ٱلۡكُفۡرَ بِٱلۡإِيمَٰنِ لَن يَضُرُّواْ ٱللَّهَ شَيۡـٔٗاۖ وَلَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٞ ١٧٧
Indeed, those who purchase disbelief [in exchange] for faith - never will they harm Allāh at all, and for them is a painful punishment.
3:178
وَلَا يَحۡسَبَنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓاْ أَنَّمَا نُمۡلِي لَهُمۡ خَيۡرٞ لِّأَنفُسِهِمۡۚ إِنَّمَا نُمۡلِي لَهُمۡ لِيَزۡدَادُوٓاْ إِثۡمٗاۖ وَلَهُمۡ عَذَابٞ مُّهِينٞ ١٧٨
And let not those who disbelieve ever think that [because] We extend their time [of enjoyment] it is better for them. We only extend it for them so that they may increase in sin, and for them is a humiliating punishment.
3:179
مَّا كَانَ ٱللَّهُ لِيَذَرَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ عَلَىٰ مَآ أَنتُمۡ عَلَيۡهِ حَتَّىٰ يَمِيزَ ٱلۡخَبِيثَ مِنَ ٱلطَّيِّبِۗ وَمَا كَانَ ٱللَّهُ لِيُطۡلِعَكُمۡ عَلَى ٱلۡغَيۡبِ وَلَٰكِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَجۡتَبِي مِن رُّسُلِهِۦ مَن يَشَآءُۖ فَـَٔامِنُواْ بِٱللَّهِ وَرُسُلِهِۦۚ وَإِن تُؤۡمِنُواْ وَتَتَّقُواْ فَلَكُمۡ أَجۡرٌ عَظِيمٞ ١٧٩
Allāh would not leave the believers in that [state] you are in [presently] until He separates the evil from the good. Nor would Allāh reveal to you the unseen. But [instead], Allāh chooses of His messengers whom He wills, so believe in Allāh and His messengers. And if you believe and fear Him, then for you is a great reward.
3:180
