إِنَّ ٱلدِّينَ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡإِسۡلَٰمُۗ وَمَا ٱخۡتَلَفَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ إِلَّا مِنۢ بَعۡدِ مَا جَآءَهُمُ ٱلۡعِلۡمُ بَغۡيَۢا بَيۡنَهُمۡۗ وَمَن يَكۡفُرۡ بِـَٔايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ سَرِيعُ ٱلۡحِسَابِ ١٩
Indeed, the religion in the sight of Allāh is Islām. And those who were given the Scripture did not differ except after knowledge had come to them - out of jealous animosity between themselves. And whoever disbelieves in the verses of Allāh, then indeed, Allāh is swift in [taking] account.

Commentary on 3:19
19- Şüphesiz Allah katında din İslâmdır. Kendilerine Kitap verilenler ancak kendilerine ilim geldikten sonra aralarındaki kıskançlıktan dolayı ayrılığa düştüler. Kim Allah’ın âyetlerini inkâr ederse muhakkak Allah hesabı pek çabuk görendir.
19. “Şüphesiz Allah katında din İslâmdır.” Yüce Allah, katında kendisinden başka gerçek dinin bulunmadığı ve kendisinden başkasının makbul sayılmayacağı dinin İslam olduğunu haber veriyor. İslâm ise zahiren ve batınen Allah’ın peygamberleri vasıtası ile teşrî buyurduğu şekilde yalnızca Allah’a boyun eğmektir. Yüce Allah şöyle buyurmaktadır:“Kim İslâm’dan başka bir din ararsa o, ondan asla kabul olunmaz ve o, âhirette zarara uğrayanlardan olur.”(Âl-i İmran, 3/85) Buna göre İslâm dininden başka bir dine bağlanan kimse gerçekte Allah’a boyun eğmemiş olur. Çünkü o, Allah’ın peygamberi vasıtası ile teşrî buyurduğu yolu izlememektedir. Daha sonra Yüce Allah, Kitap ehlinin bunu bildiklerini, onların inat ederek ve kıskançlıkları sebebi ile anlaşmazlığa düşüp bu doğru yoldan saptıklarını haber vermektedir. Çünkü anlaşmazlığa düşmemelerini gerektiren ve gerçek dine bağlı kalmalarını ön gören bilgi onlara ulaşmıştır. Diğer taraftan Muhammed sallallahu aleyhi ve sellem de onlara peygamber olarak geldiğinde onu tam olarak tanıdılar. Kıskançlık, haksızlık ve Allah’ın âyetlerini inkara sapmaları, onları hakka uymaktan alıkoydu. “Kim Allah’ın âyetlerini inkâr ederse muhakkak Allah hesabı pek çabuk görendir.” O halde artık bunu beklesinler, şüphesiz ki o gün gelecektir ve Allah dünyada yaptıklarının karşılığı ile onları cezalandıracaktır.

3:16
ٱلَّذِينَ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَآ إِنَّنَآ ءَامَنَّا فَٱغۡفِرۡ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَقِنَا عَذَابَ ٱلنَّارِ ١٦
Those who say, 'Our Lord, indeed we have believed, so forgive us our sins and protect us from the punishment of the Fire,' "
3:17
ٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ وَٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ وَٱلۡقَٰنِتِينَ وَٱلۡمُنفِقِينَ وَٱلۡمُسۡتَغۡفِرِينَ بِٱلۡأَسۡحَارِ ١٧
The patient, the true, the obedient, those who spend [in the way of Allāh], and those who seek forgiveness before dawn.
3:18
شَهِدَ ٱللَّهُ أَنَّهُۥ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ وَٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ وَأُوْلُواْ ٱلۡعِلۡمِ قَآئِمَۢا بِٱلۡقِسۡطِۚ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلۡحَكِيمُ ١٨
Allāh witnesses that there is no deity except Him, and [so do] the angels and those of knowledge - [that He is] maintaining [creation] in justice. There is no deity except Him, the Exalted in Might, the Wise.
3:19

3:20
فَإِنۡ حَآجُّوكَ فَقُلۡ أَسۡلَمۡتُ وَجۡهِيَ لِلَّهِ وَمَنِ ٱتَّبَعَنِۗ وَقُل لِّلَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ وَٱلۡأُمِّيِّـۧنَ ءَأَسۡلَمۡتُمۡۚ فَإِنۡ أَسۡلَمُواْ فَقَدِ ٱهۡتَدَواْۖ وَّإِن تَوَلَّوۡاْ فَإِنَّمَا عَلَيۡكَ ٱلۡبَلَٰغُۗ وَٱللَّهُ بَصِيرُۢ بِٱلۡعِبَادِ ٢٠
So if they argue with you, say, "I have submitted myself to Allāh [in Islām], and [so have] those who follow me." And say to those who were given the Scripture and [to] the unlearned,1 "Have you submitted yourselves?" And if they submit [in Islām], they are rightly guided; but if they turn away - then upon you is only the [duty of] notification. And Allāh is Seeing of [His] servants.

3:21
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَكۡفُرُونَ بِـَٔايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ وَيَقۡتُلُونَ ٱلنَّبِيِّـۧنَ بِغَيۡرِ حَقّٖ وَيَقۡتُلُونَ ٱلَّذِينَ يَأۡمُرُونَ بِٱلۡقِسۡطِ مِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ فَبَشِّرۡهُم بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ ٢١
Those who disbelieve in the signs of Allāh and kill the prophets without right and kill those who order justice from among the people - give them tidings of a painful punishment.
3:22
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ حَبِطَتۡ أَعۡمَٰلُهُمۡ فِي ٱلدُّنۡيَا وَٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ وَمَا لَهُم مِّن نَّٰصِرِينَ ٢٢
They are the ones whose deeds have become worthless in this world and the Hereafter, and for them there will be no helpers.
