إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَشۡتَرُونَ بِعَهۡدِ ٱللَّهِ وَأَيۡمَٰنِهِمۡ ثَمَنٗا قَلِيلًا أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ لَا خَلَٰقَ لَهُمۡ فِي ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ وَلَا يُكَلِّمُهُمُ ٱللَّهُ وَلَا يَنظُرُ إِلَيۡهِمۡ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ وَلَا يُزَكِّيهِمۡ وَلَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٞ ٧٧
Indeed, those who exchange the covenant of Allāh and their [own] oaths for a small price will have no share in the Hereafter, and Allāh will not speak to them or look at them on the Day of Resurrection, nor will He purify them; and they will have a painful punishment.

Commentary on 3:77
Sa për ata që e shesin besën e dhënë Allahut dhe i ndryshojnë zotimet e tyre për hir të një vlere të vogël(të kësaj bote),... -Allahu i Lartësuar i ka përshkruar këta njerëz me cilësi tepër të ulëta: së pari, ata e shesin premtimin e dhënë Allahut dhe, së dyti, ata shkelin zotimet dhe marrëveshjet e tyre me njerëzit, e këtë e bëjnë thjesht për të fituar diçka shumë të vogël nga kjo dynja. Në këtë kategori futen ata njerëz që marrin ndonjë shpërblim për lënien e detyrimeve ndaj Allahut dhe ndaj njerëzve. Pra, çdokush që lë bindjen ndaj Zotit dhe të drejtat e njerëzve, për të arritur ndonjë qëllim të tijin prej kësaj dynjaje konsiderohet i tillë. Po ashtu, çdokush që bën betim të rremë për të përfituar nga pasuritë dhe të drejtat e të tjerëve hyn në këtë kategori. Të gjithë këta dhe të tjerët që u përngjajnë atyre kanë një kërcënim nga Allahu i Lartësuar:...nuk do të kenë pjesë në Jetën tjetër. Allahu nuk do t’u flasë dhe nuk do t’i shohë ata në Ditën e Kijametit. Ai nuk do t’i pastrojë ata(nga gjynahet)dhe ata do të kenë një dënim të dhembshëm. –Ky është ndëshkimi i merituar për këta të padrejtë. Ata nuk do të kenë pjesë prej së mirës në ahiret. Allahu nuk do t’u flasë dhe nuk do t’i shikojë ata Ditën e Gjykimit, sepse Ai do të jetë i zemëruar me ta. Allahu do të jetë i zemëruar, sepse ata i japin përparësi plotësimit të pasioneve dhe dëshirave të tyre të sëmura, kundrejt kënaqësisë së Tij. Për këtë arsye, Allahu nuk do t’i pastrojë ata nga gjynahet e tyre, nuk do t’ua fshehë të metat e tyre dhe nuk do t’ua mbulojë padrejtësitë që kanë bërë. Si pasojë, ata do të kenë ndëshkim të dhembshëm, që do ta vuajnë trupat dhe zemrat e tyre. Sa i hidhur dhe dëshpërues mund të jetë zemërimi i Allahut ndaj tyre, që të mund të shprehej me fjalë?! Po fakti që ata nuk do ta shohin kurrë Zotin e gjithësisë?! Po ndëshkimi dhe vuajtja e përjetshme në Xhehenem?! Allahu na ruajt dhe na mëshiroftë, se Ai është Mëshirues i madh.

3:71
يَٰٓأَهۡلَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ لِمَ تَلۡبِسُونَ ٱلۡحَقَّ بِٱلۡبَٰطِلِ وَتَكۡتُمُونَ ٱلۡحَقَّ وَأَنتُمۡ تَعۡلَمُونَ ٧١
O People of the Scripture, why do you mix [i.e., confuse] the truth with falsehood and conceal the truth while you know [it]?
3:72
وَقَالَت طَّآئِفَةٞ مِّنۡ أَهۡلِ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ ءَامِنُواْ بِٱلَّذِيٓ أُنزِلَ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَجۡهَ ٱلنَّهَارِ وَٱكۡفُرُوٓاْ ءَاخِرَهُۥ لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَرۡجِعُونَ ٧٢
And a faction of the People of the Scripture say [to each other], "Believe in that which was revealed to the believers at the beginning of the day and reject it at its end that perhaps they will return [i.e., abandon their religion],
3:73
وَلَا تُؤۡمِنُوٓاْ إِلَّا لِمَن تَبِعَ دِينَكُمۡ قُلۡ إِنَّ ٱلۡهُدَىٰ هُدَى ٱللَّهِ أَن يُؤۡتَىٰٓ أَحَدٞ مِّثۡلَ مَآ أُوتِيتُمۡ أَوۡ يُحَآجُّوكُمۡ عِندَ رَبِّكُمۡۗ قُلۡ إِنَّ ٱلۡفَضۡلَ بِيَدِ ٱللَّهِ يُؤۡتِيهِ مَن يَشَآءُۗ وَٱللَّهُ وَٰسِعٌ عَلِيمٞ ٧٣
And do not trust except those who follow your religion." Say, "Indeed, the [true] guidance is the guidance of Allāh. [Do you fear] lest someone be given [knowledge] like you were given or that they would [thereby] argue with you before your Lord?" Say, "Indeed, [all] bounty is in the hand1 of Allāh - He grants it to whom He wills. And Allāh is all-Encompassing and Wise."

3:74
يَخۡتَصُّ بِرَحۡمَتِهِۦ مَن يَشَآءُۗ وَٱللَّهُ ذُو ٱلۡفَضۡلِ ٱلۡعَظِيمِ ٧٤
He selects for His mercy whom He wills. And Allāh is the possessor of great bounty.
3:75
۞ وَمِنۡ أَهۡلِ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ مَنۡ إِن تَأۡمَنۡهُ بِقِنطَارٖ يُؤَدِّهِۦٓ إِلَيۡكَ وَمِنۡهُم مَّنۡ إِن تَأۡمَنۡهُ بِدِينَارٖ لَّا يُؤَدِّهِۦٓ إِلَيۡكَ إِلَّا مَا دُمۡتَ عَلَيۡهِ قَآئِمٗاۗ ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمۡ قَالُواْ لَيۡسَ عَلَيۡنَا فِي ٱلۡأُمِّيِّـۧنَ سَبِيلٞ وَيَقُولُونَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡكَذِبَ وَهُمۡ يَعۡلَمُونَ ٧٥
And among the People of the Scripture is he who, if you entrust him with a great amount [of wealth], he will return it to you. And among them is he who, if you entrust him with a [single] coin, he will not return it to you unless you are constantly standing over him [demanding it]. That is because they say, "There is no blame upon us concerning the unlearned."1 And they speak untruth about Allāh while they know [it].

3:76
بَلَىٰۚ مَنۡ أَوۡفَىٰ بِعَهۡدِهِۦ وَٱتَّقَىٰ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُحِبُّ ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ ٧٦
But yes, whoever fulfills his commitment and fears Allāh - then indeed, Allāh loves those who fear Him.
3:77
