بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
Luqman 31:10

خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ بِغَيۡرِ عَمَدٖ تَرَوۡنَهَاۖ وَأَلۡقَىٰ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ رَوَٰسِيَ أَن تَمِيدَ بِكُمۡ وَبَثَّ فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ دَآبَّةٖۚ وَأَنزَلۡنَا مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءٗ فَأَنۢبَتۡنَا فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ زَوۡجٖ كَرِيمٍ ١٠
He created the heavens without pillars that you see and has cast into the earth firmly set mountains, lest it should shift with you, and dispersed therein from every creature. And We sent down rain from the sky and made grow therein [plants] of every noble kind.

Commentary on 31:10
* الإعراب:
(بغير) متعلّق بحال من السموات (الواو) عاطفة (في الأرض) متعلّق ب (ألقى) ، (أن) حرف مصدريّ.
والمصدر المؤوّل (أن تميد ... ) في محلّ نصب مفعول لأجله بحذف مضاف أي خشية أن تميد [[يجوز جرّ المصدر المؤوّل بحرف جرّ محذوف بتقدير (لا) نافية قبل الفعل أي:
لئلّا تميد بكم.. والجار متعلّق ب (ألقى) .]] .
(بكم) متعلّق ب (تميد) ، (فيها) متعلّق ب (بثّ) (من كلّ) متعلّق ب (بثّ) ومن تبعيضيّة (من السماء) متعلّق ب (أنزلنا) ، (الفاء) عاطفة (فيها) متعلّق ب (أنبتنا) ، (من كلّ) متعلّق ب (أنبتنا) ومن تبعيضيّة.
جملة: «خلق ... » لا محلّ لها استئنافيّة.
وجملة: «ترونها ... » في محلّ جرّ نعت لعمد.
وجملة: «ألقى ... » لا محلّ لها معطوفة على جملة خلق.
وجملة: «تميد ... » لا محلّ لها صلة الموصول الحرفيّ (أن) .
وجملة: «بثّ ... » لا محلّ لها معطوفة على جملة ألقى.
وجملة: «أنزلنا ... » لا محلّ لها معطوفة على جملة ألقى.
وجملة: «أنبتنا ... » لا محلّ لها معطوفة على جملة أنزلنا.
* الفوائد:
- الزوجية في البنات كما هي في الأحياء:
من عظيم خلق الله، أن الزوجية، وهي الذكورة والأنوثة، موجودة في النبات، كما هي موجودة في الأحياء، وهي سنة من سنن الله، وناموس مما أودعه الله في سائر مخلوقاته، ولئن ذهب بعضهم، في تعليلات غير مقبولة لوجود الازدواجية في الأحياء، وزعم أنها وليدة المصادفة أو التطور أو غير ذلك، فإنه سيقف مبهوتا أمام هذه الازدواجية في النبات الذي لا حياة فيه ولا عقل، ومع ذلك فقد زوّده الله بهذه الثنائية التي تضمن له توالده وتكاثره واستمرار نوعيته. فتبصر هديت إلى الرشد والسداد.

31:1

تِلۡكَ ءَايَٰتُ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ ٱلۡحَكِيمِ ٢
These are verses of the wise1 Book,

31:3
هُدٗى وَرَحۡمَةٗ لِّلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ ٣
As guidance and mercy for the doers of good
31:4
ٱلَّذِينَ يُقِيمُونَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَيُؤۡتُونَ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَهُم بِٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ هُمۡ يُوقِنُونَ ٤
Who establish prayer and give zakāh, and they, of the Hereafter, are certain [in faith].
31:5
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ عَلَىٰ هُدٗى مِّن رَّبِّهِمۡۖ وَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡمُفۡلِحُونَ ٥
Those are on [right] guidance from their Lord, and it is those who are the successful.
31:6
وَمِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ مَن يَشۡتَرِي لَهۡوَ ٱلۡحَدِيثِ لِيُضِلَّ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ بِغَيۡرِ عِلۡمٖ وَيَتَّخِذَهَا هُزُوًاۚ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ لَهُمۡ عَذَابٞ مُّهِينٞ ٦
And of the people is he who buys the amusement of speech1 to mislead [others] from the way of Allāh without knowledge and who takes it [i.e., His way] in ridicule. Those will have a humiliating punishment.

- i.e., that which has no benefit. Described by different ṣaḥābah as shirk (association with Allāh), misleading stories, frivolous songs, or music but includes all which distracts or diverts one from the Qur’ān and remembrance of Allāh. ↩
31:7
وَإِذَا تُتۡلَىٰ عَلَيۡهِ ءَايَٰتُنَا وَلَّىٰ مُسۡتَكۡبِرٗا كَأَن لَّمۡ يَسۡمَعۡهَا كَأَنَّ فِيٓ أُذُنَيۡهِ وَقۡرٗاۖ فَبَشِّرۡهُ بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ ٧
And when Our verses are recited to him, he turns away arrogantly as if he had not heard them, as if there was in his ears deafness. So give him tidings of a painful punishment.
31:8
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ لَهُمۡ جَنَّٰتُ ٱلنَّعِيمِ ٨
Indeed, those who believe and do righteous deeds - for them are the Gardens of Pleasure,
31:9
خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَاۖ وَعۡدَ ٱللَّهِ حَقّٗاۚ وَهُوَ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلۡحَكِيمُ ٩
Wherein they abide eternally; [it is] the promise of Allāh [which is] truth. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.
31:10
خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ بِغَيۡرِ عَمَدٖ تَرَوۡنَهَاۖ وَأَلۡقَىٰ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ رَوَٰسِيَ أَن تَمِيدَ بِكُمۡ وَبَثَّ فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ دَآبَّةٖۚ وَأَنزَلۡنَا مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءٗ فَأَنۢبَتۡنَا فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ زَوۡجٖ كَرِيمٍ ١٠

31:11
هَٰذَا خَلۡقُ ٱللَّهِ فَأَرُونِي مَاذَا خَلَقَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن دُونِهِۦۚ بَلِ ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ فِي ضَلَٰلٖ مُّبِينٖ ١١
This is the creation of Allāh. So show Me what those other than Him have created. Rather, the wrongdoers are in clear error.
