بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
Saba 34:7

وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ هَلۡ نَدُلُّكُمۡ عَلَىٰ رَجُلٖ يُنَبِّئُكُمۡ إِذَا مُزِّقۡتُمۡ كُلَّ مُمَزَّقٍ إِنَّكُمۡ لَفِي خَلۡقٖ جَدِيدٍ ٧
But those who disbelieve say, "Shall we direct you to a man who will inform you [that] when you have disintegrated in complete disintegration, you will [then] be [recreated] in a new creation?

Commentary on 34:7
٧ - ﴿وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ﴾ أي: قال بعض الكفّار لبعض، على وجه التكذيب والاستهزاء، والتعجيب والاستبعاد:﴿هَلۡ نَدُلُّكُمۡ عَلَىٰ رَجُلٖ﴾ هو محمد ﷺ ﴿يُنَبِّئُكُمۡ﴾ أي: يخبركم ويحدّثكم – بأمر عجيب، ونبأ غريب – هو أنكم ﴿إِذَا مُزِّقۡتُمۡ﴾ أي: قُطّعتم وفُرّقتم ﴿كُلَّ مُمَزَّقٍ﴾ أي: كلّ تقطيع وتفريق؟والمعنى: أنكم إذا متّم وبليتم وفُرّقت أجسادكم في الأرض كلّ تفريق، وقُطّعت كلّ تقطيع، وذهبت فيها كل مذهب ، وتمزّقت كل تمزيق، وصرتم رفاتاً وعظاماً، وتراباً بالياً ﴿إِنَّكُمۡ﴾ أي: بعد هذا الحال ﴿لَفِي خَلۡقٖ جَدِيدٍ﴾ تُبعثون وتحاسبون؟ أي: تُخلقون خلقاً جديداً، وتبعثون من قبوركم أحياء، تُسألون وتحاسبون؟ قالوا ذلك استهزاءً بما وعدهم الله على لسان رسوله من البعث، وتعجّبا من المعاد بعد الموت !.وتمزيق الشيء: تخريقه، وجعله قطعاً قطعاً، يقال: ثوب مَزِيق، وممزوق، ومتمزّق وممزّق: أي: مقطع مخرّق.

بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
34:1
ٱلۡحَمۡدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِي لَهُۥ مَا فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَلَهُ ٱلۡحَمۡدُ فِي ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِۚ وَهُوَ ٱلۡحَكِيمُ ٱلۡخَبِيرُ ١
[All] praise is [due] to Allāh, to whom belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth, and to Him belongs [all] praise in the Hereafter. And He is the Wise, the Aware.
34:2
يَعۡلَمُ مَا يَلِجُ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا يَخۡرُجُ مِنۡهَا وَمَا يَنزِلُ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَمَا يَعۡرُجُ فِيهَاۚ وَهُوَ ٱلرَّحِيمُ ٱلۡغَفُورُ ٢
He knows what penetrates into the earth and what emerges from it and what descends from the heaven and what ascends therein. And He is the Merciful, the Forgiving.
34:3
وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لَا تَأۡتِينَا ٱلسَّاعَةُۖ قُلۡ بَلَىٰ وَرَبِّي لَتَأۡتِيَنَّكُمۡ عَٰلِمِ ٱلۡغَيۡبِۖ لَا يَعۡزُبُ عَنۡهُ مِثۡقَالُ ذَرَّةٖ فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَلَا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَلَآ أَصۡغَرُ مِن ذَٰلِكَ وَلَآ أَكۡبَرُ إِلَّا فِي كِتَٰبٖ مُّبِينٖ ٣
But those who disbelieve say, "The Hour will not come to us." Say, "Yes, by my Lord, it will surely come to you. [Allāh is] the Knower of the unseen." Not absent from Him is an atom's weight1 within the heavens or within the earth or [what is] smaller than that or greater, except that it is in a clear register -

34:4
لِّيَجۡزِيَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِۚ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ لَهُم مَّغۡفِرَةٞ وَرِزۡقٞ كَرِيمٞ ٤
That He may reward those who believe and do righteous deeds. Those will have forgiveness and noble provision.
34:5
وَٱلَّذِينَ سَعَوۡ فِيٓ ءَايَٰتِنَا مُعَٰجِزِينَ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ لَهُمۡ عَذَابٞ مِّن رِّجۡزٍ أَلِيمٞ ٥
But those who strive against Our verses [seeking] to cause failure1 - for them will be a painful punishment of foul nature.

34:6
وَيَرَى ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ ٱلۡعِلۡمَ ٱلَّذِيٓ أُنزِلَ إِلَيۡكَ مِن رَّبِّكَ هُوَ ٱلۡحَقَّ وَيَهۡدِيٓ إِلَىٰ صِرَٰطِ ٱلۡعَزِيزِ ٱلۡحَمِيدِ ٦
And those who have been given knowledge see that what is revealed to you from your Lord is the truth, and it guides to the path of the Exalted in Might, the Praiseworthy.
34:7
