بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
Ya-Sin 36:11

إِنَّمَا تُنذِرُ مَنِ ٱتَّبَعَ ٱلذِّكۡرَ وَخَشِيَ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنَ بِٱلۡغَيۡبِۖ فَبَشِّرۡهُ بِمَغۡفِرَةٖ وَأَجۡرٖ كَرِيمٍ ١١
You can only warn one who follows the message and fears the Most Merciful unseen. So give him good tidings of forgiveness and noble reward.

Commentary on 36:11
﴿إنما تنذر من اتبع الذكر وخشي الرحمن بالغيب﴾: ﴿إنما﴾: كافة ومكفوفة، و﴿تنذر﴾: فعل مضارع، وفاعله مستتر تقديره أنت، و﴿مَن﴾: اسم موصول في محل نصب مفعول به، و﴿اتبع﴾ فعل ماض، والفاعل مستتر تقديره هو، و﴿الذكر﴾ مفعول اتبع، وجملة ﴿اتبع الذكر﴾ صلة الاسم الموصول ﴿مَن﴾ لا محل لها من الإعراب. و﴿خشي﴾: فعل ماض، والفاعل مستتر تقديره هو، و﴿الرحمن﴾ مفعول خشي، وجملة ﴿خشي الرحمن﴾ معطوفة على ﴿اتبع الذكر﴾، و﴿بالغيب﴾ جار ومجرور متعلقان بمحذوف حال من فاعل خشي، أي: خشي الرحمن غائبا عن أعين الناس في خلواته أو غائبا عن عذابه، أو الجار والمجرور متعلقان بمحذوف حال من مفعول خشي، أي: خشي عقاب الرحمن حال كون العقاب غائبا عنه.
﴿فبشره بمغفرة وأجر كريم﴾: ﴿فبشره﴾: الفاء لترتيب البشارة على ما قبلها من اتباع الذكر والخشية، و﴿بشره﴾: فعل أمر، والفاعل مستتر تقديره أنت، والهاء مفعول به، و﴿بمغفرة﴾: جار ومجرور متعلقان بـ﴿بشره﴾، ﴿وأجر﴾: الواو عاطفة، و﴿أجر﴾ معطوف على ﴿مغفرة﴾، و﴿كريم﴾: صفة لـ﴿أجر﴾.

وَلَوۡ يُؤَاخِذُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلنَّاسَ بِمَا كَسَبُواْ مَا تَرَكَ عَلَىٰ ظَهۡرِهَا مِن دَآبَّةٖ وَلَٰكِن يُؤَخِّرُهُمۡ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٖ مُّسَمّٗىۖ فَإِذَا جَآءَ أَجَلُهُمۡ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ بِعِبَادِهِۦ بَصِيرَۢا ٤٥
And if Allāh were to impose blame on the people for what they have earned, He would not leave upon it [i.e., the earth] any creature. But He defers them for a specified term. And when their time comes, then indeed Allāh has ever been, of His servants, Seeing.

وَٱلۡقُرۡءَانِ ٱلۡحَكِيمِ ٢
By the wise1 Qur’ān,

36:3
إِنَّكَ لَمِنَ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ ٣
Indeed you, [O Muḥammad], are from among the messengers,
36:4
عَلَىٰ صِرَٰطٖ مُّسۡتَقِيمٖ ٤
On a straight path.
36:5
تَنزِيلَ ٱلۡعَزِيزِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ ٥
[This is] a revelation of the Exalted in Might, the Merciful,
36:6
لِتُنذِرَ قَوۡمٗا مَّآ أُنذِرَ ءَابَآؤُهُمۡ فَهُمۡ غَٰفِلُونَ ٦
That you may warn a people whose forefathers were not warned, so they are unaware.
36:7
لَقَدۡ حَقَّ ٱلۡقَوۡلُ عَلَىٰٓ أَكۡثَرِهِمۡ فَهُمۡ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ ٧
Already the word [i.e., decree] has come into effect upon most of them, so they do not believe.
36:8
إِنَّا جَعَلۡنَا فِيٓ أَعۡنَٰقِهِمۡ أَغۡلَٰلٗا فَهِيَ إِلَى ٱلۡأَذۡقَانِ فَهُم مُّقۡمَحُونَ ٨
Indeed, We have put shackles on their necks, and they are to their chins, so they are with heads [kept] aloft.
36:9
وَجَعَلۡنَا مِنۢ بَيۡنِ أَيۡدِيهِمۡ سَدّٗا وَمِنۡ خَلۡفِهِمۡ سَدّٗا فَأَغۡشَيۡنَٰهُمۡ فَهُمۡ لَا يُبۡصِرُونَ ٩
And We have put before them a barrier and behind them a barrier and covered them, so they do not see.
36:10
وَسَوَآءٌ عَلَيۡهِمۡ ءَأَنذَرۡتَهُمۡ أَمۡ لَمۡ تُنذِرۡهُمۡ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ ١٠
And it is all the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them - they will not believe.
36:11
إِنَّمَا تُنذِرُ مَنِ ٱتَّبَعَ ٱلذِّكۡرَ وَخَشِيَ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنَ بِٱلۡغَيۡبِۖ فَبَشِّرۡهُ بِمَغۡفِرَةٖ وَأَجۡرٖ كَرِيمٍ ١١

إِنَّا نَحۡنُ نُحۡيِ ٱلۡمَوۡتَىٰ وَنَكۡتُبُ مَا قَدَّمُواْ وَءَاثَٰرَهُمۡۚ وَكُلَّ شَيۡءٍ أَحۡصَيۡنَٰهُ فِيٓ إِمَامٖ مُّبِينٖ ١٢
Indeed, it is We who bring the dead to life and record what they have put forth and what they left behind, and all things We have enumerated in a clear register.
