Commentary on 36:1–2
Ja, Sin! Betohem në Kur'anin plot urtësi. -Allahu i Lartësuar betohet në këtë Kur'an duke përmendur edhe një cilësi të Tij: urtësinë. Përkufizimi i urtësisë është: vendosja e çdo gjëje në vendin që i takon. Kështu janë urdhëresat dhe ndalesat e këtij Kur'ani: të drejta dhe me vend. Edhe shpërblimi me të mira dhe ndëshkimi me të këqija vendoset atje ku duhet dhe në lidhje me ata që e meritojnë. Të gjitha dispozitat ligjore dhe ato të shpërblimit dhe ndëshkimit që janë sjellë në këtë Kur'an janë në kulmin e urtësisë. Prej urtësisë madhështore të këtij Kur'ani është edhe fakti se ai jo vetëm që përmend gjykimin për diçka, por na tregon edhe urtësinë dhe qëllimet madhështore të këtyre gjykimeve. Allahu i Lartësuar na nxit, gjithashtu, që të përdorim mendjen për të medituar rreth shkaqeve, mësimeve apo mesazheve të dhënies së një gjykimi të caktuar. Po përse betohet Allahu i Lartësuar në Kur'anin të mbushur plot urtësi? Përgjigjja vjen më poshtë:

35:45
وَلَوۡ يُؤَاخِذُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلنَّاسَ بِمَا كَسَبُواْ مَا تَرَكَ عَلَىٰ ظَهۡرِهَا مِن دَآبَّةٖ وَلَٰكِن يُؤَخِّرُهُمۡ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٖ مُّسَمّٗىۖ فَإِذَا جَآءَ أَجَلُهُمۡ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ بِعِبَادِهِۦ بَصِيرَۢا ٤٥
And if Allāh were to impose blame on the people for what they have earned, He would not leave upon it [i.e., the earth] any creature. But He defers them for a specified term. And when their time comes, then indeed Allāh has ever been, of His servants, Seeing.

36:1

36:2
وَٱلۡقُرۡءَانِ ٱلۡحَكِيمِ ٢
By the wise1 Qur’ān,

36:3
إِنَّكَ لَمِنَ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ ٣
Indeed you, [O Muḥammad], are from among the messengers,
36:4
عَلَىٰ صِرَٰطٖ مُّسۡتَقِيمٖ ٤
On a straight path.
36:5
تَنزِيلَ ٱلۡعَزِيزِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ ٥
[This is] a revelation of the Exalted in Might, the Merciful,
36:6
لِتُنذِرَ قَوۡمٗا مَّآ أُنذِرَ ءَابَآؤُهُمۡ فَهُمۡ غَٰفِلُونَ ٦
That you may warn a people whose forefathers were not warned, so they are unaware.
36:7
لَقَدۡ حَقَّ ٱلۡقَوۡلُ عَلَىٰٓ أَكۡثَرِهِمۡ فَهُمۡ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ ٧
Already the word [i.e., decree] has come into effect upon most of them, so they do not believe.
36:8
إِنَّا جَعَلۡنَا فِيٓ أَعۡنَٰقِهِمۡ أَغۡلَٰلٗا فَهِيَ إِلَى ٱلۡأَذۡقَانِ فَهُم مُّقۡمَحُونَ ٨
Indeed, We have put shackles on their necks, and they are to their chins, so they are with heads [kept] aloft.
36:9
وَجَعَلۡنَا مِنۢ بَيۡنِ أَيۡدِيهِمۡ سَدّٗا وَمِنۡ خَلۡفِهِمۡ سَدّٗا فَأَغۡشَيۡنَٰهُمۡ فَهُمۡ لَا يُبۡصِرُونَ ٩
And We have put before them a barrier and behind them a barrier and covered them, so they do not see.
36:10
وَسَوَآءٌ عَلَيۡهِمۡ ءَأَنذَرۡتَهُمۡ أَمۡ لَمۡ تُنذِرۡهُمۡ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ ١٠
And it is all the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them - they will not believe.
36:11
إِنَّمَا تُنذِرُ مَنِ ٱتَّبَعَ ٱلذِّكۡرَ وَخَشِيَ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنَ بِٱلۡغَيۡبِۖ فَبَشِّرۡهُ بِمَغۡفِرَةٖ وَأَجۡرٖ كَرِيمٍ ١١
You can only warn one who follows the message and fears the Most Merciful unseen. So give him good tidings of forgiveness and noble reward.
36:12
إِنَّا نَحۡنُ نُحۡيِ ٱلۡمَوۡتَىٰ وَنَكۡتُبُ مَا قَدَّمُواْ وَءَاثَٰرَهُمۡۚ وَكُلَّ شَيۡءٍ أَحۡصَيۡنَٰهُ فِيٓ إِمَامٖ مُّبِينٖ ١٢
Indeed, it is We who bring the dead to life and record what they have put forth and what they left behind, and all things We have enumerated in a clear register.
