ٱلَّذِينَ يَتَرَبَّصُونَ بِكُمۡ فَإِن كَانَ لَكُمۡ فَتۡحٞ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ قَالُوٓاْ أَلَمۡ نَكُن مَّعَكُمۡ وَإِن كَانَ لِلۡكَٰفِرِينَ نَصِيبٞ قَالُوٓاْ أَلَمۡ نَسۡتَحۡوِذۡ عَلَيۡكُمۡ وَنَمۡنَعۡكُم مِّنَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَۚ فَٱللَّهُ يَحۡكُمُ بَيۡنَكُمۡ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِۚ وَلَن يَجۡعَلَ ٱللَّهُ لِلۡكَٰفِرِينَ عَلَى ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ سَبِيلًا ١٤١
Those who wait [and watch] you. Then if you gain a victory from Allāh, they say, "Were we not with you?" But if the disbelievers have a success, they say [to them], "Did we not gain the advantage over you, but we protected you from the believers?" Allāh will judge between [all of] you on the Day of Resurrection, and never will Allāh give the disbelievers over the believers a way [to overcome them].1

Commentary on 4:141
﴿الذين يتربصون بكم﴾: اسم الموصول صفة للمنافقين، أو منصوب على الذم، وجملة ﴿يتربصون بكم﴾ صلة الموصول لا محل لها من الإعراب.
﴿فإن كان لكم فتح من الله قالوا ألم نكن معكم﴾: الفاء استئنافية، و﴿إن﴾ شرطية، وكان فعل ماض ناقص فعل الشرط، و﴿لكم﴾ جار ومجرور متعلقان بمحذوف خبرها المقدم، وفتح اسمها المؤخر، و﴿من الله﴾ جار ومجرور متعلقان بمحذوف صفة لفتح، وقالوا فعل وفاعل في محل جزم جواب الشرط، وجملة ﴿ألم نكن معكم﴾ في محل نصب مقول القول، و﴿معكم﴾ ظرف متعلق بمحذوف خبر ﴿نكن﴾، وجملة ﴿فإن كان لكم...﴾ مستأنفة لا محل لها من الإعراب.
﴿وإن كان للكافرين نصيب﴾: الواو عاطفة، و﴿إن﴾ شرطية، وكان فعل ماض ناقص في محل جزم فعل الشرط، وللكافرين جار ومجرور متعلقان بمحذوف خبر ﴿كان﴾ المقدم، ونصيب اسمها المؤخر.
﴿قالوا ألم نستحوذ عليكم﴾: قالوا فعل وفاعل في محل جزم جواب الشرط، وجملة ﴿ألم نستحوذ عليكم﴾ في محل نصب مقول القول.
﴿ونمنعكم من المؤمنين﴾: ﴿نمنعكم﴾ عطف على ﴿نستحوذ﴾، ومن المؤمنين جار ومجرور متعلقان بنمنعكم.
﴿فالله يحكم بينكم يوم القيامة﴾: الفاء استئنافية، ولفظ الجلالة مبتدأ، وجملة ﴿يحكم﴾ خبر، و﴿بينكم﴾ ظرف متعلق بيحكم، ويوم القيامة ظرف متعلق بيحكمن وجملة ﴿فالله يحكم...﴾ مستأنفة لا محل لها من الإعراب.
﴿ولن يجعل الله للكافرين على المؤمنين سبيلا﴾: الواو عاطفة، و﴿لن﴾ حرف نفي ونصب واستقبال، ويجعل مضارع منصوب بلن، ولفظ الجلالة فاعل، وللكافرين جار ومجرور متعلقان بـ﴿يجعل﴾ بمثابة مفعولها الأول، وسبيلًا مفعولها الثاني، وعلى المؤمنين جار ومجرور متعلقان بمحذوف حال، لأنه كان صفة لـ﴿سبيلًا﴾ وتقدمت عليه.

4:142
إِنَّ ٱلۡمُنَٰفِقِينَ يُخَٰدِعُونَ ٱللَّهَ وَهُوَ خَٰدِعُهُمۡ وَإِذَا قَامُوٓاْ إِلَى ٱلصَّلَوٰةِ قَامُواْ كُسَالَىٰ يُرَآءُونَ ٱلنَّاسَ وَلَا يَذۡكُرُونَ ٱللَّهَ إِلَّا قَلِيلٗا ١٤٢
Indeed, the hypocrites [think to] deceive Allāh, but He is deceiving them. And when they stand for prayer, they stand lazily, showing [themselves to] the people and not remembering Allāh except a little,
4:143
مُّذَبۡذَبِينَ بَيۡنَ ذَٰلِكَ لَآ إِلَىٰ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ وَلَآ إِلَىٰ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِۚ وَمَن يُضۡلِلِ ٱللَّهُ فَلَن تَجِدَ لَهُۥ سَبِيلٗا ١٤٣
Wavering between them, [belonging] neither to these [i.e., the believers] nor to those [i.e., the disbelievers]. And whoever Allāh sends astray - never will you find for him a way.
4:144
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ لَا تَتَّخِذُواْ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ أَوۡلِيَآءَ مِن دُونِ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَۚ أَتُرِيدُونَ أَن تَجۡعَلُواْ لِلَّهِ عَلَيۡكُمۡ سُلۡطَٰنٗا مُّبِينًا ١٤٤
O you who have believed, do not take the disbelievers as allies instead of the believers. Do you wish to give Allāh against yourselves a clear case?
4:145
إِنَّ ٱلۡمُنَٰفِقِينَ فِي ٱلدَّرۡكِ ٱلۡأَسۡفَلِ مِنَ ٱلنَّارِ وَلَن تَجِدَ لَهُمۡ نَصِيرًا ١٤٥
Indeed, the hypocrites will be in the lowest depths of the Fire - and never will you find for them a helper -
4:146
إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ تَابُواْ وَأَصۡلَحُواْ وَٱعۡتَصَمُواْ بِٱللَّهِ وَأَخۡلَصُواْ دِينَهُمۡ لِلَّهِ فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ مَعَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَۖ وَسَوۡفَ يُؤۡتِ ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ أَجۡرًا عَظِيمٗا ١٤٦
Except for those who repent, correct themselves, hold fast to Allāh, and are sincere in their religion for Allāh, for those will be with the believers. And Allāh is going to give the believers a great reward.
4:147
مَّا يَفۡعَلُ ٱللَّهُ بِعَذَابِكُمۡ إِن شَكَرۡتُمۡ وَءَامَنتُمۡۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ شَاكِرًا عَلِيمٗا ١٤٧
What would Allāh do with [i.e., gain from] your punishment if you are grateful and believe? And ever is Allāh Appreciative1 and Knowing.
