Ash-Shuraa 42:36

فَمَآ أُوتِيتُم مِّن شَيۡءٖ فَمَتَٰعُ ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡيَاۚ وَمَا عِندَ ٱللَّهِ خَيۡرٞ وَأَبۡقَىٰ لِلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَلَىٰ رَبِّهِمۡ يَتَوَكَّلُونَ ٣٦
So whatever thing you have been given - it is but [for] enjoyment of the worldly life. But what is with Allāh is better and more lasting for those who have believed and upon their Lord rely

Në këto ajete, Allahu i Lartësuar na nxit për të qenë më tepër shpërfillës ndaj kësaj dynjaje dhe sa më shumë të interesuar për ahiretin. Ai, gjithashtu, na tregon edhe rrugën për arritjen e këtij qëllimi.Gjërat që ju janë dhënë, janë bukuri të kësaj bote,... -Çdo lloj mirësie që kemi, si: pasuria, fëmijët, pushteti, shëndeti i mirë, siguria, stabiliteti etj., janë thjesht stoli të kësaj bote të shkurtër, që do të përfundojë një ditë. Si e tillë, nuk ia vlen që të sakrifikosh shumë për të. Më pas, i Madhëruari nxit njerëzit që t’i japin pikërisht ahiretit rëndësinë që i takon:... ndërsa ato që janë tek Allahu, janë më të mira dhe të përjetshme. ... -Ato që janë përgatitur dhe tani ekzistojnë tek Allahu, në Xhenet, janë shumë herë më të mira sesa mirësitë dhe lezetet e kësaj bote. Madje, mes tyre as që mund të bëhet ndonjë krahasim i përpiktë. Përveçse gjërat atje janë më të mira dhe më të bukura, ato kanë edhe një veçori tjetër, që i bën të pashembullta: ato janë të përjetshme, që nuk ndërpriten. Mirësitë e ahiretit do të shijohen pa mundime paraprake dhe pa merakun se një çast do të mbarojnë. Banorët e Xhenetit, gjithashtu, nuk do të mërziten kurrë apo të velen me këto mirësi. Por për cilët është përgatitur ky lloj shpërblimi? I Gjithëmëshirshmi thotë:... Ato janë për ata që besojnë dhe që i mbështeten vetëm Zotit të tyre. -Kështu, Allahu i Lartësuar na jep cilësitë dalluese të këtyre fatlumëve. Së pari, ata kanë besimin e drejtë, të mbështetur në argumente të sakta dhe të sigurta nga Zoti. Sipas këtij besimi, ata kanë ndjenjat e zemrës dhe veprat e mira, sigurisht, të gjitha të sinqerta për Zotin, sepse besimi që deklarohet me gojë vërtetohet kur shprehet në ndjenjat e zemrës dhe në veprat e njeriut. Cilësia e dytë e tyre është “et-tuekkul” ose: mbështetja e plotë e zemrave te Zoti për arritjen e çdo gjëje të mirë, që ata e dëshirojnë dhe për ruajtjen nga çdo gjë e keqe, së cilës ata i druhen, me sigurinë e plotë se Allahu i Lartësuar do t’ua japë atë që kërkojnë. Teuekkul-i është i domosdoshëm për kryerjen e çdo pune dhe për arritjen e çdo synimi. Çdo punë pa teuekkul është e mangët, jo e plotë.

42:32
وَمِنۡ ءَايَٰتِهِ ٱلۡجَوَارِ فِي ٱلۡبَحۡرِ كَٱلۡأَعۡلَٰمِ ٣٢
And of His signs are the ships in the sea, like mountains.
42:33
إِن يَشَأۡ يُسۡكِنِ ٱلرِّيحَ فَيَظۡلَلۡنَ رَوَاكِدَ عَلَىٰ ظَهۡرِهِۦٓۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَٰتٖ لِّكُلِّ صَبَّارٖ شَكُورٍ ٣٣
If He willed, He could still the wind, and they would remain motionless on its surface. Indeed in that are signs for everyone patient and grateful.
42:34
أَوۡ يُوبِقۡهُنَّ بِمَا كَسَبُواْ وَيَعۡفُ عَن كَثِيرٖ ٣٤
Or He could destroy them1 for what they earned; but He pardons much.

42:35
وَيَعۡلَمَ ٱلَّذِينَ يُجَٰدِلُونَ فِيٓ ءَايَٰتِنَا مَا لَهُم مِّن مَّحِيصٖ ٣٥
And [that is so] those who dispute concerning Our signs may know that for them there is no place of escape.
42:36
فَمَآ أُوتِيتُم مِّن شَيۡءٖ فَمَتَٰعُ ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡيَاۚ وَمَا عِندَ ٱللَّهِ خَيۡرٞ وَأَبۡقَىٰ لِلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَلَىٰ رَبِّهِمۡ يَتَوَكَّلُونَ ٣٦

42:37
وَٱلَّذِينَ يَجۡتَنِبُونَ كَبَٰٓئِرَ ٱلۡإِثۡمِ وَٱلۡفَوَٰحِشَ وَإِذَا مَا غَضِبُواْ هُمۡ يَغۡفِرُونَ ٣٧
And those who avoid the major sins and immoralities, and when they are angry, they forgive,
42:38
وَٱلَّذِينَ ٱسۡتَجَابُواْ لِرَبِّهِمۡ وَأَقَامُواْ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَأَمۡرُهُمۡ شُورَىٰ بَيۡنَهُمۡ وَمِمَّا رَزَقۡنَٰهُمۡ يُنفِقُونَ ٣٨
And those who have responded to their Lord and established prayer and whose affair is [determined by] consultation among themselves, and from what We have provided them, they spend,
42:39
وَٱلَّذِينَ إِذَآ أَصَابَهُمُ ٱلۡبَغۡيُ هُمۡ يَنتَصِرُونَ ٣٩
And those who, when tyranny strikes them, they retaliate [in a just manner].1

42:40
وَجَزَٰٓؤُاْ سَيِّئَةٖ سَيِّئَةٞ مِّثۡلُهَاۖ فَمَنۡ عَفَا وَأَصۡلَحَ فَأَجۡرُهُۥ عَلَى ٱللَّهِۚ إِنَّهُۥ لَا يُحِبُّ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ ٤٠
And the retribution for an evil act is an evil one like it, but whoever pardons and makes reconciliation - his reward is [due] from Allāh. Indeed, He does not like wrongdoers.
42:41
وَلَمَنِ ٱنتَصَرَ بَعۡدَ ظُلۡمِهِۦ فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ مَا عَلَيۡهِم مِّن سَبِيلٍ ٤١
And whoever retaliates after having been wronged - those have not upon them any cause [for blame].
42:42
إِنَّمَا ٱلسَّبِيلُ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ يَظۡلِمُونَ ٱلنَّاسَ وَيَبۡغُونَ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ بِغَيۡرِ ٱلۡحَقِّۚ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ لَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٞ ٤٢
The cause is only against the ones who wrong the people and tyrannize upon the earth without right. Those will have a painful punishment.
42:43
وَلَمَن صَبَرَ وَغَفَرَ إِنَّ ذَٰلِكَ لَمِنۡ عَزۡمِ ٱلۡأُمُورِ ٤٣
And whoever is patient and forgives - indeed, that is of the matters [worthy] of resolve.1

42:44
وَمَن يُضۡلِلِ ٱللَّهُ فَمَا لَهُۥ مِن وَلِيّٖ مِّنۢ بَعۡدِهِۦۗ وَتَرَى ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ لَمَّا رَأَوُاْ ٱلۡعَذَابَ يَقُولُونَ هَلۡ إِلَىٰ مَرَدّٖ مِّن سَبِيلٖ ٤٤
And he whom Allāh sends astray - for him there is no protector beyond Him. And you will see the wrongdoers, when they see the punishment, saying, "Is there for return [to the former world] any way?"
