وَلَمَّا جَآءَ عِيسَىٰ بِٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتِ قَالَ قَدۡ جِئۡتُكُم بِٱلۡحِكۡمَةِ وَلِأُبَيِّنَ لَكُم بَعۡضَ ٱلَّذِي تَخۡتَلِفُونَ فِيهِۖ فَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ ٦٣
And when Jesus brought clear proofs, he said, "I have come to you with wisdom [i.e., prophethood] and to make clear to you some of that over which you differ, so fear Allāh and obey me.

Commentary on 43:63
(ولما جاء عيسى) إلى بني إسرائيل (بالبينات) أي بالمعجزات الواضحة، والشرائع النيرة، قال قتادة البينات ههنا الإنجيل (قال قد جئتكم بالحكمة) أي النبوة وقيل: الإنجيل، وقيل ما يرغب في الجميل ويكف عن القبيح.
(و) جئتكم (لأبين لكم بعض الذي تختلفون فيه) من أحكام التوارة، ولم يترك العاطف ليتعلق بما قبله ليؤذن بالاهتمام بالعلة حتى جعلت كأنها كلام برأسه والبعض هو أمر الدين قال قتادة يعني اختلاف الفرق الذين تحزبوا في أمر عيسى، قال الزجاج: الذي جاء به عيسى في الإنجيل إنما هو بعض الذي اختلفوا فيه فبين لهم في غير الإنجيل ما احتاجوا إليه.
وقيل: إن بني إسرائيل اختلفوا بعد موت موسى في أشياء من أمر دينهم وقال أبو عبيدة إن بعض هنا بمعنى كل كما في قوله (يصبكم بعض الذي يعدكم) وقال مقاتل هو كقوله (ولأحل لكم بعض الذي حرم عليكم) يعني ما أحل في الإنجيل مما كان محرماً في التوراة كلحم الإبل والشحم من كل حيوان وصيد السمك يوم السبت ثم أمرهم بالتقوى والطاعة فقال:
(فاتقوا الله) أي اتقوا معاصيه (وأطيعون) فيما آمركم به من التوحيد والشرائع وأبلغه عنه

43:61
وَإِنَّهُۥ لَعِلۡمٞ لِّلسَّاعَةِ فَلَا تَمۡتَرُنَّ بِهَا وَٱتَّبِعُونِۚ هَٰذَا صِرَٰطٞ مُّسۡتَقِيمٞ ٦١
And indeed, he [i.e., Jesus] will be [a sign for] knowledge of the Hour, so be not in doubt of it, and follow Me.1 This is a straight path.

43:62
وَلَا يَصُدَّنَّكُمُ ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُۖ إِنَّهُۥ لَكُمۡ عَدُوّٞ مُّبِينٞ ٦٢
And never let Satan avert you. Indeed, he is to you a clear enemy.
43:63
وَلَمَّا جَآءَ عِيسَىٰ بِٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتِ قَالَ قَدۡ جِئۡتُكُم بِٱلۡحِكۡمَةِ وَلِأُبَيِّنَ لَكُم بَعۡضَ ٱلَّذِي تَخۡتَلِفُونَ فِيهِۖ فَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ ٦٣

43:64
إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ رَبِّي وَرَبُّكُمۡ فَٱعۡبُدُوهُۚ هَٰذَا صِرَٰطٞ مُّسۡتَقِيمٞ ٦٤
Indeed, Allāh is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him. This is a straight path."
43:65
فَٱخۡتَلَفَ ٱلۡأَحۡزَابُ مِنۢ بَيۡنِهِمۡۖ فَوَيۡلٞ لِّلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ مِنۡ عَذَابِ يَوۡمٍ أَلِيمٍ ٦٥
But the denominations from among them differed [and separated], so woe to those who have wronged from the punishment of a painful Day.
43:66
هَلۡ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّا ٱلسَّاعَةَ أَن تَأۡتِيَهُم بَغۡتَةٗ وَهُمۡ لَا يَشۡعُرُونَ ٦٦
Are they waiting except for the Hour to come upon them suddenly while they perceive not?
43:67
ٱلۡأَخِلَّآءُ يَوۡمَئِذِۭ بَعۡضُهُمۡ لِبَعۡضٍ عَدُوٌّ إِلَّا ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ ٦٧
Close friends, that Day, will be enemies to each other, except for the righteous
43:68
يَٰعِبَادِ لَا خَوۡفٌ عَلَيۡكُمُ ٱلۡيَوۡمَ وَلَآ أَنتُمۡ تَحۡزَنُونَ ٦٨
[To whom Allāh will say], "O My servants, no fear will there be concerning you this Day, nor will you grieve,
43:69
ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا وَكَانُواْ مُسۡلِمِينَ ٦٩
[You] who believed in Our verses and were Muslims.
43:70
ٱدۡخُلُواْ ٱلۡجَنَّةَ أَنتُمۡ وَأَزۡوَٰجُكُمۡ تُحۡبَرُونَ ٧٠
Enter Paradise, you and your kinds,1 delighted."

43:71
يُطَافُ عَلَيۡهِم بِصِحَافٖ مِّن ذَهَبٖ وَأَكۡوَابٖۖ وَفِيهَا مَا تَشۡتَهِيهِ ٱلۡأَنفُسُ وَتَلَذُّ ٱلۡأَعۡيُنُۖ وَأَنتُمۡ فِيهَا خَٰلِدُونَ ٧١
Circulated among them will be plates and vessels of gold. And therein is whatever the souls desire and [what] delights the eyes, and you will abide therein eternally.
43:72
وَتِلۡكَ ٱلۡجَنَّةُ ٱلَّتِيٓ أُورِثۡتُمُوهَا بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ ٧٢
And that is Paradise which you are made to inherit for what you used to do.
43:73
لَكُمۡ فِيهَا فَٰكِهَةٞ كَثِيرَةٞ مِّنۡهَا تَأۡكُلُونَ ٧٣
For you therein is much fruit1 from which you will eat.
