لَكُمۡ فِيهَا فَٰكِهَةٞ كَثِيرَةٞ مِّنۡهَا تَأۡكُلُونَ ٧٣
For you therein is much fruit1 from which you will eat.

Commentary on 43:72–73
﴿وَتِلۡكَ ٱلۡجَنَّةُ ٱلَّتِیۤ أُورِثۡتُمُوهَا بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ ٧٢ لَكُمۡ فِیهَا فَـٰكِهَةࣱ كَثِیرَةࣱ مِّنۡهَا تَأۡكُلُونَ ٧٣﴾ - تفسير
٦٩٧٧٧- عن أبي هريرة، أنّ رسول الله ﷺ قال: «ما من أحد إلا وله منزل في الجنّة ومنزل في النار، فالكافر يرث المؤمن منزله في النار، والمؤمن يرث الكافر منزله في الجنّة». وذلك قوله: ﴿وتِلْكَ الجَنَّةُ الَّتِي أُورِثْتُمُوها بِما كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ﴾[[أخرجه ابن أبي حاتم –كما في تفسير ابن كثير ٧/٢٤٠-. وعزاه السيوطي إلى ابن مردويه.
وقد أخرجه بسند صحيح ابن ماجه ٥/٣٨٩ (٤٣٤١)، والحاكم ٢/٤٢٧ (٣٤٨٥)، وابن جرير ١٧/١٥، وابن أبي حاتم -كما في تفسير ابن كثير ٥/٤٦٤-، ولكن بذكر قوله تعالى: ﴿أُولَئِكَ هُمُ الوارِثُونَ﴾ [المؤمنون:١٠] بدل هذه الآية، وقد تقدم عند تفسير آية سورة المؤمنون، وأيضًا عند تفسير قوله تعالى: ﴿ونُودُوا أنْ تِلْكُمُ الجَنَّةُ أُورِثْتُمُوها بِما كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ﴾ [الأعراف:٤٣] دون ذكر أي آية.]]. (١٣/٢٣٧)
﴿وَتِلۡكَ ٱلۡجَنَّةُ ٱلَّتِیۤ أُورِثۡتُمُوهَا بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ ٧٢ لَكُمۡ فِیهَا فَـٰكِهَةࣱ كَثِیرَةࣱ مِّنۡهَا تَأۡكُلُونَ ٧٣﴾ - آثار متعلقة بالآية
٦٩٧٧٨- عن عبد الله بن مسعود، قال: تَجُوزون الصراط بعفو الله، وتدخلون الجنّة برحمة الله، وتقتسمون المنازل بأعمالكم[[عزاه السيوطي إلى هناد بن السري في الزهد.]]. (١٣/٢٣٧)

43:61
وَإِنَّهُۥ لَعِلۡمٞ لِّلسَّاعَةِ فَلَا تَمۡتَرُنَّ بِهَا وَٱتَّبِعُونِۚ هَٰذَا صِرَٰطٞ مُّسۡتَقِيمٞ ٦١
And indeed, he [i.e., Jesus] will be [a sign for] knowledge of the Hour, so be not in doubt of it, and follow Me.1 This is a straight path.

43:62
وَلَا يَصُدَّنَّكُمُ ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُۖ إِنَّهُۥ لَكُمۡ عَدُوّٞ مُّبِينٞ ٦٢
And never let Satan avert you. Indeed, he is to you a clear enemy.
43:63
وَلَمَّا جَآءَ عِيسَىٰ بِٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتِ قَالَ قَدۡ جِئۡتُكُم بِٱلۡحِكۡمَةِ وَلِأُبَيِّنَ لَكُم بَعۡضَ ٱلَّذِي تَخۡتَلِفُونَ فِيهِۖ فَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ ٦٣
And when Jesus brought clear proofs, he said, "I have come to you with wisdom [i.e., prophethood] and to make clear to you some of that over which you differ, so fear Allāh and obey me.
43:64
إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ رَبِّي وَرَبُّكُمۡ فَٱعۡبُدُوهُۚ هَٰذَا صِرَٰطٞ مُّسۡتَقِيمٞ ٦٤
Indeed, Allāh is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him. This is a straight path."
43:65
فَٱخۡتَلَفَ ٱلۡأَحۡزَابُ مِنۢ بَيۡنِهِمۡۖ فَوَيۡلٞ لِّلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ مِنۡ عَذَابِ يَوۡمٍ أَلِيمٍ ٦٥
But the denominations from among them differed [and separated], so woe to those who have wronged from the punishment of a painful Day.
43:66
هَلۡ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّا ٱلسَّاعَةَ أَن تَأۡتِيَهُم بَغۡتَةٗ وَهُمۡ لَا يَشۡعُرُونَ ٦٦
Are they waiting except for the Hour to come upon them suddenly while they perceive not?
43:67
ٱلۡأَخِلَّآءُ يَوۡمَئِذِۭ بَعۡضُهُمۡ لِبَعۡضٍ عَدُوٌّ إِلَّا ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ ٦٧
Close friends, that Day, will be enemies to each other, except for the righteous
43:68
يَٰعِبَادِ لَا خَوۡفٌ عَلَيۡكُمُ ٱلۡيَوۡمَ وَلَآ أَنتُمۡ تَحۡزَنُونَ ٦٨
[To whom Allāh will say], "O My servants, no fear will there be concerning you this Day, nor will you grieve,
43:69
ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا وَكَانُواْ مُسۡلِمِينَ ٦٩
[You] who believed in Our verses and were Muslims.
43:70
ٱدۡخُلُواْ ٱلۡجَنَّةَ أَنتُمۡ وَأَزۡوَٰجُكُمۡ تُحۡبَرُونَ ٧٠
Enter Paradise, you and your kinds,1 delighted."

43:71
يُطَافُ عَلَيۡهِم بِصِحَافٖ مِّن ذَهَبٖ وَأَكۡوَابٖۖ وَفِيهَا مَا تَشۡتَهِيهِ ٱلۡأَنفُسُ وَتَلَذُّ ٱلۡأَعۡيُنُۖ وَأَنتُمۡ فِيهَا خَٰلِدُونَ ٧١
Circulated among them will be plates and vessels of gold. And therein is whatever the souls desire and [what] delights the eyes, and you will abide therein eternally.
43:72
وَتِلۡكَ ٱلۡجَنَّةُ ٱلَّتِيٓ أُورِثۡتُمُوهَا بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ ٧٢
And that is Paradise which you are made to inherit for what you used to do.
43:73
لَكُمۡ فِيهَا فَٰكِهَةٞ كَثِيرَةٞ مِّنۡهَا تَأۡكُلُونَ ٧٣
