لَقَدۡ كَفَرَ ٱلَّذِينَ قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱلۡمَسِيحُ ٱبۡنُ مَرۡيَمَۖ وَقَالَ ٱلۡمَسِيحُ يَٰبَنِيٓ إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ ٱعۡبُدُواْ ٱللَّهَ رَبِّي وَرَبَّكُمۡۖ إِنَّهُۥ مَن يُشۡرِكۡ بِٱللَّهِ فَقَدۡ حَرَّمَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيۡهِ ٱلۡجَنَّةَ وَمَأۡوَىٰهُ ٱلنَّارُۖ وَمَا لِلظَّٰلِمِينَ مِنۡ أَنصَارٖ ٧٢
They have certainly disbelieved who say, "Allāh is the Messiah, the son of Mary" while the Messiah has said, "O Children of Israel, worship Allāh, my Lord and your Lord." Indeed, he who associates others with Allāh - Allāh has forbidden him Paradise, and his refuge is the Fire. And there are not for the wrongdoers any helpers.

Commentary on 5:72
الإعراب:
(لَقَدْ كَفَرَ الَّذِينَ قالُوا إِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الْمَسِيحُ ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ) اللام جواب قسم محذوف، وقد حرف تحقيق، وجملة القسم مستأنفة. وكفر الذين فعل وفاعل، والجملة لا محلّ لها لأنها جواب قسم محذوف، وجملة قالوا لا محل لها لأنها صلة الذين، وجملة إن الله في محل نصب مقول القول، وإن واسمها، وهو مبتدأ، والمسيح خبر هو، والجملة الاسمية خبر إن، وابن بدل من المسيح، ومريم مضاف إليه (وَقالَ الْمَسِيحُ: يا بَنِي إِسْرائِيلَ اعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ رَبِّي وَرَبَّكُمْ) الواو حالية، وقال المسيح فعل وفاعل، والجملة في محل نصب على الحال من الواو في «قالوا» ، ويا بني إسرائيل منادى مضاف، وجملة اعبدوا الله في محل نصب مقول قول المسيح، وربي بدل من الله، وربكم عطف على ربي (إِنَّهُ مَنْ يُشْرِكْ بِاللَّهِ فَقَدْ حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ الْجَنَّةَ) الجملة مستأنفة، وإن واسمها، ومن اسم شرط جازم في محل رفع مبتدأ، ويشرك فعل الشرط، وبالله متعلقان بيشرك، والفاء رابطة لجواب الشرط، وجملة فقد حرم في محل جزم جواب الشرط، وفعل الشرط وجوابه خبر «من» ، والجملة الشرطية كلها في محل رفع خبر إنّ، وحرم الله فعل وفاعل، وعليه متعلقان بحرّم، والجنة مفعول به (وَمَأْواهُ النَّارُ وَما لِلظَّالِمِينَ مِنْ أَنْصارٍ) الواو استئنافية، ومأواه خبر مقدم، والنار مبتدأ مؤخر، ويجوز العكس، والواو عاطفة، وما نافية، وللظالمين جار ومجرور متعلقان بمحذوف خبر مقدم، ومن حرف جر زائد، وأنصار مجرور لفظا مرفوع محلا لأنه مبتدأ مؤخر.

5:71
وَحَسِبُوٓاْ أَلَّا تَكُونَ فِتۡنَةٞ فَعَمُواْ وَصَمُّواْ ثُمَّ تَابَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيۡهِمۡ ثُمَّ عَمُواْ وَصَمُّواْ كَثِيرٞ مِّنۡهُمۡۚ وَٱللَّهُ بَصِيرُۢ بِمَا يَعۡمَلُونَ ٧١
And they thought there would be no [resulting] punishment, so they became blind and deaf. Then Allāh turned to them in forgiveness; then [again] many of them became blind and deaf. And Allāh is Seeing of what they do.
5:72

5:73
لَّقَدۡ كَفَرَ ٱلَّذِينَ قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ ثَالِثُ ثَلَٰثَةٖۘ وَمَا مِنۡ إِلَٰهٍ إِلَّآ إِلَٰهٞ وَٰحِدٞۚ وَإِن لَّمۡ يَنتَهُواْ عَمَّا يَقُولُونَ لَيَمَسَّنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِنۡهُمۡ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ ٧٣
They have certainly disbelieved who say, "Allāh is the third of three."1 And there is no god except one God. And if they do not desist from what they are saying, there will surely afflict the disbelievers among them a painful punishment.

5:74
أَفَلَا يَتُوبُونَ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ وَيَسۡتَغۡفِرُونَهُۥۚ وَٱللَّهُ غَفُورٞ رَّحِيمٞ ٧٤
So will they not repent to Allāh and seek His forgiveness? And Allāh is Forgiving and Merciful.
5:75
مَّا ٱلۡمَسِيحُ ٱبۡنُ مَرۡيَمَ إِلَّا رَسُولٞ قَدۡ خَلَتۡ مِن قَبۡلِهِ ٱلرُّسُلُ وَأُمُّهُۥ صِدِّيقَةٞۖ كَانَا يَأۡكُلَانِ ٱلطَّعَامَۗ ٱنظُرۡ كَيۡفَ نُبَيِّنُ لَهُمُ ٱلۡأٓيَٰتِ ثُمَّ ٱنظُرۡ أَنَّىٰ يُؤۡفَكُونَ ٧٥
The Messiah, son of Mary, was not but a messenger; [other] messengers have passed on before him. And his mother was a supporter of truth. They both used to eat food.1 Look how We make clear to them the signs; then look how they are deluded.

5:76
قُلۡ أَتَعۡبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ مَا لَا يَمۡلِكُ لَكُمۡ ضَرّٗا وَلَا نَفۡعٗاۚ وَٱللَّهُ هُوَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلۡعَلِيمُ ٧٦
Say, "Do you worship besides Allāh that which holds for you no [power of] harm or benefit while it is Allāh who is the Hearing, the Knowing?"
