بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
Adh-Dhariyat 51:56

وَمَا خَلَقۡتُ ٱلۡجِنَّ وَٱلۡإِنسَ إِلَّا لِيَعۡبُدُونِ ٥٦
And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me.

Commentary on 51:56
( وما خلقت الجن والإنس إلا ليعبدون ) قال الكلبي والضحاك وسفيان : هذا خاص لأهل طاعته من الفريقين ، يدل عليه قراءة ابن عباس : " وما خلقت الجن والإنس - من المؤمنين - إلا ليعبدون " ، ثم قال في أخرى : " ولقد ذرأنا لجهنم كثيرا من الجن والإنس " ، ( الأعراف - 79 ) .
وقال بعضهم : وما خلقت السعداء من الجن والإنس إلا لعبادتي ، والأشقياء منهم إلا لمعصيتي ، وهذا معنى قول زيد بن أسلم ، قال : هو على ما جبلوا عليه من الشقاوة والسعادة .
وقال علي بن أبي طالب : " إلا ليعبدون " أي إلا لآمرهم أن يعبدوني وأدعوهم إلى عبادتي ، يؤيده قوله - عز وجل - : " وما أمروا إلا ليعبدوا إلها واحدا " . ( التوبة - 31 ) .
وقال مجاهد : إلا ليعرفوني . وهذا أحسن لأنه لو لم يخلقهم لم يعرف وجوده وتوحيده ، دليله : قوله تعالى : " ولئن سألتهم من خلقهم ليقولن الله " ( الزخرف - 87 ) .
وقيل : معناه إلا ليخضعوا إلي ويتذللوا ، ومعنى العبادة في اللغة : التذلل والانقياد ، فكل مخلوق من الجن والإنس خاضع لقضاء الله ، متذلل لمشيئته لا يملك أحد لنفسه خروجا عما خلق عليه .
وقيل : " إلا ليعبدون " إلا ليوحدوني ، فأما المؤمن فيوحده في الشدة والرخاء ، وأما الكافر فيوحده في الشدة والبلاء دون النعمة والرخاء ، بيانه قوله - عز وجل - : " فإذا ركبوا في الفلك دعوا الله مخلصين له الدين " . ( العنكبوت - 65 ) .

51:52
كَذَٰلِكَ مَآ أَتَى ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِم مِّن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا قَالُواْ سَاحِرٌ أَوۡ مَجۡنُونٌ ٥٢
Similarly, there came not to those before them any messenger except that they said, "A magician or a madman."
51:53
أَتَوَاصَوۡاْ بِهِۦۚ بَلۡ هُمۡ قَوۡمٞ طَاغُونَ ٥٣
Did they suggest it to them?1 Rather, they [themselves] are a transgressing people.

51:54
فَتَوَلَّ عَنۡهُمۡ فَمَآ أَنتَ بِمَلُومٖ ٥٤
So leave them, [O Muḥammad], for you are not to be blamed.
51:55
وَذَكِّرۡ فَإِنَّ ٱلذِّكۡرَىٰ تَنفَعُ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ ٥٥
And remind, for indeed, the reminder benefits the believers.
51:56
وَمَا خَلَقۡتُ ٱلۡجِنَّ وَٱلۡإِنسَ إِلَّا لِيَعۡبُدُونِ ٥٦
And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me.
51:57
مَآ أُرِيدُ مِنۡهُم مِّن رِّزۡقٖ وَمَآ أُرِيدُ أَن يُطۡعِمُونِ ٥٧
I do not want from them any provision, nor do I want them to feed Me.
51:58
إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱلرَّزَّاقُ ذُو ٱلۡقُوَّةِ ٱلۡمَتِينُ ٥٨
Indeed, it is Allāh who is the [continual] Provider,1 the firm possessor of strength.

51:59
فَإِنَّ لِلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ ذَنُوبٗا مِّثۡلَ ذَنُوبِ أَصۡحَٰبِهِمۡ فَلَا يَسۡتَعۡجِلُونِ ٥٩
And indeed, for those who have wronged is a portion [of punishment] like the portion of their companions [i.e., predecessors], so let them not impatiently urge Me.
51:60
فَوَيۡلٞ لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِن يَوۡمِهِمُ ٱلَّذِي يُوعَدُونَ ٦٠
And woe to those who have disbelieved from their Day which they are promised.
سورة الطور
At-Tur

بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
52:1
وَٱلطُّورِ ١
By the mount
52:2
وَكِتَٰبٖ مَّسۡطُورٖ ٢
And [by] a Book inscribed1

فِي رَقّٖ مَّنشُورٖ ٣
In parchment spread open
52:4
وَٱلۡبَيۡتِ ٱلۡمَعۡمُورِ ٤
And [by] the frequented House1

52:5
وَٱلسَّقۡفِ ٱلۡمَرۡفُوعِ ٥
And [by] the ceiling [i.e., heaven] raised high
52:6
وَٱلۡبَحۡرِ ٱلۡمَسۡجُورِ ٦
And [by] the sea set on fire,1

52:7
إِنَّ عَذَابَ رَبِّكَ لَوَٰقِعٞ ٧
Indeed, the punishment of your Lord will occur.
52:8
مَّا لَهُۥ مِن دَافِعٖ ٨
Of it there is no preventer.
52:9
يَوۡمَ تَمُورُ ٱلسَّمَآءُ مَوۡرٗا ٩
On the Day the heaven will sway with circular motion
52:10
وَتَسِيرُ ٱلۡجِبَالُ سَيۡرٗا ١٠
And the mountains will pass on, departing1 -

52:11
فَوَيۡلٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ ١١
Then woe, that Day, to the deniers,
52:12
ٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ فِي خَوۡضٖ يَلۡعَبُونَ ١٢
Who are in [empty] discourse amusing themselves.
52:13
يَوۡمَ يُدَعُّونَ إِلَىٰ نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ دَعًّا ١٣
The Day they are thrust toward the fire of Hell with a [violent] thrust, [its angels will say],
52:14
هَٰذِهِ ٱلنَّارُ ٱلَّتِي كُنتُم بِهَا تُكَذِّبُونَ ١٤
"This is the Fire which you used to deny.
