مَآ أُرِيدُ مِنۡهُم مِّن رِّزۡقٖ وَمَآ أُرِيدُ أَن يُطۡعِمُونِ ٥٧
I do not want from them any provision, nor do I want them to feed Me.

Commentary on 51:56–58
56- Ben cinleri ve insanları başka bir şey için değil sırf bana ibadet/kulluk etsinler diye yarattım. 57- Onlardan rızık da istemiyorum, beni doyurmalarını da istemiyorum. 58- Çünkü rızık veren yalnız Allah’tır. Hem O, pek güçlü ve çetin bir kudret sahibidir.
56. İşte Yüce Allah’ın cinleri ve insanları kendisi için yarattığı ve bütün peygamberleri kendisine davet etmek üzere gönderdiği gaye budur: ibadet/kulluk. İbadetin kapsamına ise O’nu bilip tanımak, O’nu sevmek, O’na yönelmek, O’na doğru gitmek, O’nun dışındaki şeylerden yüz çevirmek girmektedir. Bu da Yüce Allah’ı gereği gibi tanımaya bağlıdır. Çünkü ibadetin tam ve eksiksiz olması, Allah’ı gereği gibi tanımakla mümkündür. Hatta kulun Rabbini tanıması arttıkça ibadeti de kemale erer. İşte Yüce Allah’ın mükellef kullarını yaratmasının maksadı, budur. Onları kendilerine bir ihtiyacı bulunduğundan dolayı yaratmış değildir.
57. Yüce Allah, hiçbir şekilde hiçbir kimseye muhtaç değildir. Aksine bütün yaratıklar O’na muhtaçtırlar. Zorunlu olsun olmasın ihtiyaç duydukları bütün hususlarda O’na muhtaçtırlar. Bundan dolayı Yüce Allah şöyle buyurmaktadır:
58. “Çünkü rızık veren” hem yerde hem gökte ne kadar canlı varsa hepsinin rızkını hem de bol bol veren “yalnız Allah’tır. Hem O, pek güçlü ve çetin bir kudret sahibidir.” Kuvvet ve kudret tümüyle kendisinin olandır O. Bu kuvvet ve kudreti ile ulvi ve süfli âlemdeki pek büyük varlıkları var etmiştir. Bu kuvvet ve kudreti ile o varlıklarda görünen ve görünmeyen pek çok tasarruflarda bulunur. Meşîeti/dilemesi, bütün yaratıklar hakkında geçerlidir: Allah’ın dilediği olur, dilemediği olmaz. Kaçan O’nu âciz bırakamaz, kimse O’nun hükümranlığına karşı çıkamaz, egemenliğinin dışına çıkamaz. Rızkı bütün varlıklara ulaştırmış olması da O’nun bu kuvvetinin bir tecellisidir. Çürüyüp dağılmalarından, rüzgarların etrafa savurmasından, kuşlar ve yırtıcı hayvanların yiyip yutmasından, paramparça olup çöllerde ve denizlerin dalgaları arasında darmadağın olmalarından sonra bütün insanları diriltecek olması da O’nun kuvvet ve kudretinin bir tecellisidir. Kimse O’nun elinden kurtulamayacaktır. Yeryüzünün onlardan neleri eksilttiğini O çok iyi bilir. Pek güçlü ve pek kudretli olanın şanı ne yücedir!

51:52
كَذَٰلِكَ مَآ أَتَى ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِم مِّن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا قَالُواْ سَاحِرٌ أَوۡ مَجۡنُونٌ ٥٢
Similarly, there came not to those before them any messenger except that they said, "A magician or a madman."
51:53
أَتَوَاصَوۡاْ بِهِۦۚ بَلۡ هُمۡ قَوۡمٞ طَاغُونَ ٥٣
Did they suggest it to them?1 Rather, they [themselves] are a transgressing people.

51:54
فَتَوَلَّ عَنۡهُمۡ فَمَآ أَنتَ بِمَلُومٖ ٥٤
So leave them, [O Muḥammad], for you are not to be blamed.
51:55
وَذَكِّرۡ فَإِنَّ ٱلذِّكۡرَىٰ تَنفَعُ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ ٥٥
And remind, for indeed, the reminder benefits the believers.
51:56
وَمَا خَلَقۡتُ ٱلۡجِنَّ وَٱلۡإِنسَ إِلَّا لِيَعۡبُدُونِ ٥٦
And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me.
51:57
مَآ أُرِيدُ مِنۡهُم مِّن رِّزۡقٖ وَمَآ أُرِيدُ أَن يُطۡعِمُونِ ٥٧
I do not want from them any provision, nor do I want them to feed Me.
51:58
إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱلرَّزَّاقُ ذُو ٱلۡقُوَّةِ ٱلۡمَتِينُ ٥٨
Indeed, it is Allāh who is the [continual] Provider,1 the firm possessor of strength.

51:59
فَإِنَّ لِلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ ذَنُوبٗا مِّثۡلَ ذَنُوبِ أَصۡحَٰبِهِمۡ فَلَا يَسۡتَعۡجِلُونِ ٥٩
And indeed, for those who have wronged is a portion [of punishment] like the portion of their companions [i.e., predecessors], so let them not impatiently urge Me.
51:60
فَوَيۡلٞ لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِن يَوۡمِهِمُ ٱلَّذِي يُوعَدُونَ ٦٠
And woe to those who have disbelieved from their Day which they are promised.
سورة الطور
At-Tur

بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
52:1
وَٱلطُّورِ ١
By the mount
52:2
وَكِتَٰبٖ مَّسۡطُورٖ ٢
And [by] a Book inscribed1

فِي رَقّٖ مَّنشُورٖ ٣
In parchment spread open
52:4
وَٱلۡبَيۡتِ ٱلۡمَعۡمُورِ ٤
And [by] the frequented House1

52:5
وَٱلسَّقۡفِ ٱلۡمَرۡفُوعِ ٥
And [by] the ceiling [i.e., heaven] raised high
52:6
وَٱلۡبَحۡرِ ٱلۡمَسۡجُورِ ٦
And [by] the sea set on fire,1

52:7
إِنَّ عَذَابَ رَبِّكَ لَوَٰقِعٞ ٧
Indeed, the punishment of your Lord will occur.
52:8
مَّا لَهُۥ مِن دَافِعٖ ٨
Of it there is no preventer.
52:9
يَوۡمَ تَمُورُ ٱلسَّمَآءُ مَوۡرٗا ٩
On the Day the heaven will sway with circular motion
52:10
وَتَسِيرُ ٱلۡجِبَالُ سَيۡرٗا ١٠
And the mountains will pass on, departing1 -

52:11
فَوَيۡلٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ ١١
Then woe, that Day, to the deniers,
52:12
ٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ فِي خَوۡضٖ يَلۡعَبُونَ ١٢
Who are in [empty] discourse amusing themselves.
52:13
يَوۡمَ يُدَعُّونَ إِلَىٰ نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ دَعًّا ١٣
The Day they are thrust toward the fire of Hell with a [violent] thrust, [its angels will say],
52:14
هَٰذِهِ ٱلنَّارُ ٱلَّتِي كُنتُم بِهَا تُكَذِّبُونَ ١٤
"This is the Fire which you used to deny.
