وَكُلُّ شَيۡءٖ فَعَلُوهُ فِي ٱلزُّبُرِ ٥٢
And everything they did is in written records.

﴿وَكُلُّ شَیۡءࣲ فَعَلُوهُ فِی ٱلزُّبُرِ ٥٢﴾ - تفسير
٧٣٩٩٥- عن عبد الله بن عباس -من طريق مقسم- قال: ﴿وكُلُّ شَيْءٍ فَعَلُوهُ فِي الزُّبُرِ﴾ الأول، في أُمّ الكتاب، ﴿وكُلُّ صَغِيرٍ وكَبِيرٍ مُسْتَطَرٌ﴾ يعني: مكتوب[[أخرجه اللالكائي في شرح أصول اعتقاد أهل السنة والجماعة ٣/٦٣١-٦٣٢ (١٠١٧). وعزاه السيوطي إلى ابن مردويه.]]. (١٤/٩٣)
٧٣٩٩٦- عن الضَّحّاك بن مُزاحِم -من طريق عبيد- يقول في قوله: ﴿فِي الزُّبُرِ﴾، يقول: الكتب[[أخرجه ابن جرير ٢٢/١٦٥.]]. (ز)
٧٣٩٩٧- قال مقاتل بن سليمان: ثم قال: ﴿وكُلُّ شَيْءٍ فَعَلُوهُ فِي الزُّبُرِ﴾ يعني الأمم الخالية، قال: كلّ شيء عملوه مكتوب في اللوح المحفوظ[[تفسير مقاتل بن سليمان ٤/١٨٥.]]٦٣٥٠. (ز)
٦٣٥٠ ذكر ابن القيم (٣/٨٩) هذا القول، وساق قولًا آخر بأن المعنى: يُحصى عليهم في كتب أعمالهم. ونقل أنّ أبا إسحاق جمع بين القولين فقال: «مكتوب عليهم قبل أن يفعلوه، ومكتوب عليهم إذا فعلوه للجزاء»، ورجَّحه بقوله: «وهذا أصح» ولم يذكر مستندًا.
٧٣٩٩٨- عن عبد الملك ابن جُرَيْج: ﴿وكُلُّ شَيْءٍ فَعَلُوهُ فِي الزُّبُرِ﴾ قال: في الكتاب[[عزاه السيوطي إلى ابن المنذر.]]. (١٤/٩٢)

54:50
وَمَآ أَمۡرُنَآ إِلَّا وَٰحِدَةٞ كَلَمۡحِۭ بِٱلۡبَصَرِ ٥٠
And Our command is but one, like a glance of the eye.
54:51
وَلَقَدۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَآ أَشۡيَاعَكُمۡ فَهَلۡ مِن مُّدَّكِرٖ ٥١
And We have already destroyed your kinds,1 so is there any who will remember?

54:52
وَكُلُّ شَيۡءٖ فَعَلُوهُ فِي ٱلزُّبُرِ ٥٢
And everything they did is in written records.
54:53
وَكُلُّ صَغِيرٖ وَكَبِيرٖ مُّسۡتَطَرٌ ٥٣
And every small and great [thing] is inscribed.
54:54
إِنَّ ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ فِي جَنَّٰتٖ وَنَهَرٖ ٥٤
Indeed, the righteous will be among gardens and rivers,
54:55
فِي مَقۡعَدِ صِدۡقٍ عِندَ مَلِيكٖ مُّقۡتَدِرِۭ ٥٥
In a seat of honor near a Sovereign, Perfect in Ability.1

Ar-Rahman

بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
55:1
ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ ١
The Most Merciful
55:2
عَلَّمَ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ ٢
Taught the Qur’ān,
55:3
خَلَقَ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ ٣
Created man,
55:4
عَلَّمَهُ ٱلۡبَيَانَ ٤
[And] taught him eloquence.
55:5
ٱلشَّمۡسُ وَٱلۡقَمَرُ بِحُسۡبَانٖ ٥
The sun and the moon [move] by precise calculation,
55:6
وَٱلنَّجۡمُ وَٱلشَّجَرُ يَسۡجُدَانِ ٦
And the stars and trees prostrate.1

55:7
وَٱلسَّمَآءَ رَفَعَهَا وَوَضَعَ ٱلۡمِيزَانَ ٧
And the heaven He raised and imposed the balance
55:8
أَلَّا تَطۡغَوۡاْ فِي ٱلۡمِيزَانِ ٨
That you not transgress within the balance.
55:9
وَأَقِيمُواْ ٱلۡوَزۡنَ بِٱلۡقِسۡطِ وَلَا تُخۡسِرُواْ ٱلۡمِيزَانَ ٩
And establish weight in justice and do not make deficient the balance.
55:10
وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ وَضَعَهَا لِلۡأَنَامِ ١٠
And the earth He laid [out] for the creatures.
55:11
فِيهَا فَٰكِهَةٞ وَٱلنَّخۡلُ ذَاتُ ٱلۡأَكۡمَامِ ١١
Therein is fruit and palm trees having sheaths [of dates]
55:12
وَٱلۡحَبُّ ذُو ٱلۡعَصۡفِ وَٱلرَّيۡحَانُ ١٢
And grain having husks and scented plants.
55:13
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ١٣
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?1

55:14
خَلَقَ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ مِن صَلۡصَٰلٖ كَٱلۡفَخَّارِ ١٤
He created man from clay like [that of] pottery.
55:15
وَخَلَقَ ٱلۡجَآنَّ مِن مَّارِجٖ مِّن نَّارٖ ١٥
And He created the jinn from a smokeless flame of fire.
55:16
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ١٦
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?
