بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

وَخَلَقَ ٱلۡجَآنَّ مِن مَّارِجٖ مِّن نَّارٖ ١٥
And He created the jinn from a smokeless flame of fire.

خَلَقَ الْإِنسَانَ مِن صَلْصَالٍ كَالْفَخَّارِ آدمي را از گل خشک شده اي چون سفال بيافريد وَخَلَقَ الْجَانَّ مِن مَّارِجٍ مِّن نَّارٍ و جن را از شعله اي بي دود فَبِأَيِّ آلَاء رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ پس کدام يک از نعمتهاي پروردگارتان را انکار مي کنيد ?
(14) سپس خداوند متعال فرمود: (﴿خَلَقَ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ﴾) تا (﴿تُكَذِّبَانِ﴾) این از نعمت‌های خداوند بر بندگانش است و آثار قدرت و آفرینش شگفت‌انگیز خود را به آنها نشان می‌دهد. (﴿خَلَقَ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ﴾) پدر انسان‌ها آدم ـ علیه السلام ـ را (﴿مِن صَلۡصَٰلٖ كَٱلۡفَخَّارِ﴾) از گِل خمیرشده‌ای که خشک شده بود آفرید، و آنگاه صدایی می‌داد که مانند صدای سفال بود.
(15) (﴿وَخَلَقَ ٱلۡجَآنَّ﴾) و پدر جن‌ها ابلیس ـ لعنت خدا بر او باد ـ را (﴿مِن مَّارِجٖ مِّن نَّارٖ﴾) از زبانۀ صاف و خالص آتش یا زبانه‌ای که آغشته به دود بود آفرید. و این بر شرافت مادۀ انسان دلالت می‌نماید که از خاک آفریده شده است، خاکی که مادۀ محکم و متین و دارای منافع فراوان است، برخلاف مادۀ جن‌ها که آتش است و محل سبکسری و تجاوز و شرارت و فساد است.
(16) وقتی مادۀ آفرینش انسان و جن را بیان کرد و این منّتی بود از جانب خدا بر آنها، فرمود: (﴿فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ﴾) پس کدام یک از نعمت‌های پروردگارتان را تکذیب می‌کنید؟

54:50
وَمَآ أَمۡرُنَآ إِلَّا وَٰحِدَةٞ كَلَمۡحِۭ بِٱلۡبَصَرِ ٥٠
And Our command is but one, like a glance of the eye.
54:51
وَلَقَدۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَآ أَشۡيَاعَكُمۡ فَهَلۡ مِن مُّدَّكِرٖ ٥١
And We have already destroyed your kinds,1 so is there any who will remember?

54:52
وَكُلُّ شَيۡءٖ فَعَلُوهُ فِي ٱلزُّبُرِ ٥٢
And everything they did is in written records.
54:53
وَكُلُّ صَغِيرٖ وَكَبِيرٖ مُّسۡتَطَرٌ ٥٣
And every small and great [thing] is inscribed.
54:54
إِنَّ ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ فِي جَنَّٰتٖ وَنَهَرٖ ٥٤
Indeed, the righteous will be among gardens and rivers,
54:55
فِي مَقۡعَدِ صِدۡقٍ عِندَ مَلِيكٖ مُّقۡتَدِرِۭ ٥٥
In a seat of honor near a Sovereign, Perfect in Ability.1

بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
55:1
ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ ١
The Most Merciful
55:2
عَلَّمَ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ ٢
Taught the Qur’ān,
55:3
خَلَقَ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ ٣
Created man,
55:4
عَلَّمَهُ ٱلۡبَيَانَ ٤
[And] taught him eloquence.
55:5
ٱلشَّمۡسُ وَٱلۡقَمَرُ بِحُسۡبَانٖ ٥
The sun and the moon [move] by precise calculation,
55:6
وَٱلنَّجۡمُ وَٱلشَّجَرُ يَسۡجُدَانِ ٦
And the stars and trees prostrate.1

55:7
وَٱلسَّمَآءَ رَفَعَهَا وَوَضَعَ ٱلۡمِيزَانَ ٧
And the heaven He raised and imposed the balance
55:8
أَلَّا تَطۡغَوۡاْ فِي ٱلۡمِيزَانِ ٨
That you not transgress within the balance.
55:9
وَأَقِيمُواْ ٱلۡوَزۡنَ بِٱلۡقِسۡطِ وَلَا تُخۡسِرُواْ ٱلۡمِيزَانَ ٩
And establish weight in justice and do not make deficient the balance.
55:10
وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ وَضَعَهَا لِلۡأَنَامِ ١٠
And the earth He laid [out] for the creatures.
55:11
فِيهَا فَٰكِهَةٞ وَٱلنَّخۡلُ ذَاتُ ٱلۡأَكۡمَامِ ١١
Therein is fruit and palm trees having sheaths [of dates]
55:12
وَٱلۡحَبُّ ذُو ٱلۡعَصۡفِ وَٱلرَّيۡحَانُ ١٢
And grain having husks and scented plants.
55:13
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ١٣
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?1

خَلَقَ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ مِن صَلۡصَٰلٖ كَٱلۡفَخَّارِ ١٤
He created man from clay like [that of] pottery.
55:15
وَخَلَقَ ٱلۡجَآنَّ مِن مَّارِجٖ مِّن نَّارٖ ١٥
And He created the jinn from a smokeless flame of fire.
55:16
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ١٦
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?
