(p-٥٦٤٤)بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ
سُورَةُ الواقِعَةِ
سُمِّيَتْ بِها لِأنَّها مَمْلُوءَةٌ بِوَقائِعِ القِيامَةِ، الَّتِي هي الواقِعَةُ العُظْمى، لِوُقُوعِها في أشَدِّ الأحْوالِ. قالَهُ المَهايِمِيُّ.
وهِيَ مَكِّيَّةٌ. وآيُها سِتٌّ وتِسْعُونَ.
وعَنِ ابْنِ عَبّاسٍ قالَ: «قالَ أبُو بَكْرٍ: يا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ! قَدْ شِبْتَ! قالَ: شَيَّبَتْنِي هُودٌ والواقِعَةُ والمُرْسَلاتُ، وعَمَّ يَتَساءَلُونَ وإذا الشَّمْسُ كُوِّرَتْ». رَواهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ وقالَ: حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ.
وعَنْ جابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ قالَ: «كانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يُصَلِّي الصَّلَواتِ كَنَحْوٍ مِن صَلاتِكُمُ الَّتِي تُصَلُّونَ اليَوْمَ، ولَكِنَّهُ كانَ يُخَفِّفُ، كانَتْ صَلاتُهُ أخَفَّ مِن صَلاتِكم.
وكانَ يَقْرَأُ في الفَجْرِ الواقِعَةَ ونَحْوَها مِنَ السُّوَرِ».
(p-٥٦٤٥)بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ
القَوْلُ في تَأْوِيلِ قَوْلِهِ تَعالى:
[١ - ٣] ﴿إذا وقَعَتِ الواقِعَةُ﴾ ﴿لَيْسَ لِوَقْعَتِها كاذِبَةٌ﴾ [الواقعة: ٢] ﴿خافِضَةٌ رافِعَةٌ﴾ [الواقعة: ٣]
﴿إذا وقَعَتِ الواقِعَةُ﴾ أيْ: نَزَلَتْ وجاءَتْ. و" الواقِعَةُ " عِلْمٌ بِالغَلَبَةِ عَلى القِيامَةِ، أوْ مَنقُولٌ سُمِّيَتْ بِذَلِكَ لِتَحَقُّقِ وُقُوعِها، وكَأنَّهُ قِيلَ: إذا وقَعَتِ الَّتِي لا بُدَّ مِن وُقُوعِها، واخْتِيارُ " إذا " مَعَ صِيغَةِ المُضِيِّ، لِلدَّلالَةِ عَلى ما ذُكِرَ.
﴿لَيْسَ لِوَقْعَتِها كاذِبَةٌ﴾ [الواقعة: ٢] أيْ: كَذِبٌ وتَكْذِيبٌ. وقَدْ جاءَ المَصْدَرُ عَلى زِنَةِ فاعِلَةٍ كالعاقِبَةِ، والعافِيَةِ. واللّامُ لِلِاخْتِصاصِ. أوِ المَعْنى: لَيْسَ حِينَ وقْعَتِها نَفْسٌ كاذِبَةٌ، أيْ: تَكْذِبُ عَلى اللَّهِ، أوْ تَكْذِبُ في نَفْيِها. واللّامُ لِلتَّوْقِيتِ.
قالَ الشِّهابُ: و" الواقِعَةُ " السَّقْطَةُ القَوِيَّةُ، وشاعَتْ في وُقُوعِ الأمْرِ العَظِيمِ، وقَدْ تُخَصُّ بِالحَرْبِ، ولِذا عَبَّرَ بِها هُنا.
﴿خافِضَةٌ رافِعَةٌ﴾ [الواقعة: ٣] أيْ: تَخْفِضُ الأشْقِياءَ إلى الدَّرَكاتِ، وتَرْفَعُ السُّعَداءَ إلى الدَّرَجاتِ. وقِيلَ: الجُمْلَةُ مُقَرِّرَةٌ لِعَظَمَةِ الواقِعَةِ عَلى طَرِيقِ الكِنايَةِ؛ لِأنَّ مِن شَأْنِ الوَقائِعِ العِظامِ أنَّها تَخْفِضُ قَوْمًا وتَرْفَعُ آخَرِينَ.

55:68
فِيهِمَا فَٰكِهَةٞ وَنَخۡلٞ وَرُمَّانٞ ٦٨
In both of them are fruit and palm trees and pomegranates.
55:69
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ٦٩
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?
55:70
فِيهِنَّ خَيۡرَٰتٌ حِسَانٞ ٧٠
In them are good and beautiful women -
55:71
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ٧١
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? -
55:72
حُورٞ مَّقۡصُورَٰتٞ فِي ٱلۡخِيَامِ ٧٢
Fair ones reserved in pavilions -
55:73
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ٧٣
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? -
55:74
لَمۡ يَطۡمِثۡهُنَّ إِنسٞ قَبۡلَهُمۡ وَلَا جَآنّٞ ٧٤
Untouched before them by man or jinnī -
55:75
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ٧٥
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? -
55:76
مُتَّكِـِٔينَ عَلَىٰ رَفۡرَفٍ خُضۡرٖ وَعَبۡقَرِيٍّ حِسَانٖ ٧٦
Reclining on green cushions and beautiful fine carpets.
55:77
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ٧٧
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?
55:78
تَبَٰرَكَ ٱسۡمُ رَبِّكَ ذِي ٱلۡجَلَٰلِ وَٱلۡإِكۡرَامِ ٧٨
Blessed is the name of your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Honor.
سورة الواقعة

بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
56:1
إِذَا وَقَعَتِ ٱلۡوَاقِعَةُ ١
When the Occurrence occurs,
56:2
لَيۡسَ لِوَقۡعَتِهَا كَاذِبَةٌ ٢
There is, at its occurrence, no denial.
56:3
خَافِضَةٞ رَّافِعَةٌ ٣
It will bring down [some] and raise up [others].1

56:4
إِذَا رُجَّتِ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ رَجّٗا ٤
When the earth is shaken with convulsion
56:5
وَبُسَّتِ ٱلۡجِبَالُ بَسّٗا ٥
And the mountains are broken down, crumbling
56:6
فَكَانَتۡ هَبَآءٗ مُّنۢبَثّٗا ٦
And become dust dispersing,
56:7
وَكُنتُمۡ أَزۡوَٰجٗا ثَلَٰثَةٗ ٧
And you become [of] three kinds:
56:8
فَأَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡمَيۡمَنَةِ مَآ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡمَيۡمَنَةِ ٨
Then the companions of the right - what are the companions of the right?1

56:9
وَأَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡمَشۡـَٔمَةِ مَآ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡمَشۡـَٔمَةِ ٩
And the companions of the left - what are companions of the left?1

56:10
وَٱلسَّٰبِقُونَ ٱلسَّٰبِقُونَ ١٠
And the forerunners, the forerunners1 -

- The words can also be understood as a complete sentence, i.e., "The forerunners [in good deeds] are the forerunners [in entering Paradise]." ↩
56:11
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ ٱلۡمُقَرَّبُونَ ١١
Those are the ones brought near [to Allāh]
56:12
فِي جَنَّٰتِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ ١٢
In the Gardens of Pleasure,
56:13
ثُلَّةٞ مِّنَ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ ١٣
A [large] company of the former peoples
56:14
وَقَلِيلٞ مِّنَ ٱلۡأٓخِرِينَ ١٤
And a few of the later peoples,
56:15
عَلَىٰ سُرُرٖ مَّوۡضُونَةٖ ١٥
On thrones woven [with ornament],
56:16
مُّتَّكِـِٔينَ عَلَيۡهَا مُتَقَٰبِلِينَ ١٦
Reclining on them, facing each other.
