ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَلَمۡ يَلۡبِسُوٓاْ إِيمَٰنَهُم بِظُلۡمٍ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ لَهُمُ ٱلۡأَمۡنُ وَهُم مُّهۡتَدُونَ ٨٢
They who believe and do not mix their belief with injustice1 - those will have security, and they are [rightly] guided.

Commentary on 6:82
٨٢ - قال تعالى فاصلاً بالحقّ والعدل بين الفريقين: ﴿ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَلَمۡ يَلۡبِسُوٓاْ﴾ أي: ولم يخلطوا ﴿إِيمَٰنَهُم بِظُلۡمٍ﴾ أي: بشرك، بل أخلصوا العبادة لله وحده، ولم يشركوا به شيئاً ﴿أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ لَهُمُ ٱلۡأَمۡنُ﴾والطّمأنينة من المخاوف، والشّقاء، والعذاب يوم القيامة (وَهُم مُّهۡتَدُونَ﴾ إلى الحقّ وإلى طريق مستقيم في الدنيا والآخرة. وفي الصحيحين- واللّفظ لمسلم- عن عبد الله بن مسعود قال: لمّا نزلت هذه الآية: (الذين آمنوا ولم يلبسوا إيمانهم بظلم) شقّ ذلك على النّاس، فقالوا: يا رسول الله، وأيّنا لا يظلم نفسه؟ قال:«إنّه ليس الذي تعنون- وفي رواية:«ليس هو كما تظنون»- ألم تسمعوا ما قال العبد الصالح- أي: لقمان-: (يا بني لا تشرك بالله إنّ الشّرك لظلم عظيم) لقمان(١٣)، إنّما هو الشّرك». ولفظ البخاري: «شقّ ذلك على أصحاب رسول الله ﷺ، فقالوا: وأيّنا لم يظلم نفسه؟ فقال: ليس كما تظنون، إنّما هي كما قال العبد الصالح لابنه: (يا بني لا تشرك بالله إنّ الشّرك لظلم عظيم)». وفي الآية: دليل على أنّ من لم يلبس إيمانه بظلم وشرك، حصل له الأمن والهداية، ومفهومها: أنّ من لبس إيمانه بظلم وشرك، لم يحصل له أمن ولا هداية، بل حظّه الخوف والعذاب، والشّقاء والضلال في الدنيا والآخرة. وفي الحديث عند ابن مردويه، قال رسول الله ﷺ:«من أُعطي فشكر، ومُنع فصبر، وظُلم فغفر، وظَلم فاستغفر: (أولئك لهم الأمن وهم مهتدون)».

6:82
ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَلَمۡ يَلۡبِسُوٓاْ إِيمَٰنَهُم بِظُلۡمٍ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ لَهُمُ ٱلۡأَمۡنُ وَهُم مُّهۡتَدُونَ ٨٢

6:83
وَتِلۡكَ حُجَّتُنَآ ءَاتَيۡنَٰهَآ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ عَلَىٰ قَوۡمِهِۦۚ نَرۡفَعُ دَرَجَٰتٖ مَّن نَّشَآءُۗ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ حَكِيمٌ عَلِيمٞ ٨٣
And that was Our [conclusive] argument which We gave Abraham against his people. We raise by degrees whom We will. Indeed, your Lord is Wise and Knowing.
6:84
وَوَهَبۡنَا لَهُۥٓ إِسۡحَٰقَ وَيَعۡقُوبَۚ كُلًّا هَدَيۡنَاۚ وَنُوحًا هَدَيۡنَا مِن قَبۡلُۖ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِهِۦ دَاوُۥدَ وَسُلَيۡمَٰنَ وَأَيُّوبَ وَيُوسُفَ وَمُوسَىٰ وَهَٰرُونَۚ وَكَذَٰلِكَ نَجۡزِي ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ ٨٤
And We gave to him [i.e., Abraham] Isaac and Jacob - all [of them] We guided. And Noah, We guided before; and among his descendants, David and Solomon and Job and Joseph and Moses and Aaron. Thus do We reward the doers of good.
6:85
وَزَكَرِيَّا وَيَحۡيَىٰ وَعِيسَىٰ وَإِلۡيَاسَۖ كُلّٞ مِّنَ ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ ٨٥
And Zechariah and John and Jesus and Elias - and all were of the righteous.
6:86
وَإِسۡمَٰعِيلَ وَٱلۡيَسَعَ وَيُونُسَ وَلُوطٗاۚ وَكُلّٗا فَضَّلۡنَا عَلَى ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ ٨٦
And Ishmael and Elisha and Jonah and Lot - and all [of them] We preferred over the worlds.
6:87
وَمِنۡ ءَابَآئِهِمۡ وَذُرِّيَّٰتِهِمۡ وَإِخۡوَٰنِهِمۡۖ وَٱجۡتَبَيۡنَٰهُمۡ وَهَدَيۡنَٰهُمۡ إِلَىٰ صِرَٰطٖ مُّسۡتَقِيمٖ ٨٧
And [some] among their fathers and their descendants and their brothers - and We chose them and We guided them to a straight path.
6:88
ذَٰلِكَ هُدَى ٱللَّهِ يَهۡدِي بِهِۦ مَن يَشَآءُ مِنۡ عِبَادِهِۦۚ وَلَوۡ أَشۡرَكُواْ لَحَبِطَ عَنۡهُم مَّا كَانُواْ يَعۡمَلُونَ ٨٨
That is the guidance of Allāh by which He guides whomever He wills of His servants. But if they had associated others with Allāh, then worthless for them would be whatever they were doing.
6:89
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَاتَيۡنَٰهُمُ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ وَٱلۡحُكۡمَ وَٱلنُّبُوَّةَۚ فَإِن يَكۡفُرۡ بِهَا هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ فَقَدۡ وَكَّلۡنَا بِهَا قَوۡمٗا لَّيۡسُواْ بِهَا بِكَٰفِرِينَ ٨٩
Those are the ones to whom We gave the Scripture and authority and prophethood. But if they [i.e., the disbelievers] deny it, then We have entrusted it to a people who are not therein disbelievers.
6:90
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ هَدَى ٱللَّهُۖ فَبِهُدَىٰهُمُ ٱقۡتَدِهۡۗ قُل لَّآ أَسۡـَٔلُكُمۡ عَلَيۡهِ أَجۡرًاۖ إِنۡ هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكۡرَىٰ لِلۡعَٰلَمِينَ ٩٠
Those are the ones whom Allāh has guided, so from their guidance take an example. Say, "I ask of you for it [i.e., this message] no payment. It is not but a reminder for the worlds."
