Al-An'am 6:92

وَهَٰذَا كِتَٰبٌ أَنزَلۡنَٰهُ مُبَارَكٞ مُّصَدِّقُ ٱلَّذِي بَيۡنَ يَدَيۡهِ وَلِتُنذِرَ أُمَّ ٱلۡقُرَىٰ وَمَنۡ حَوۡلَهَاۚ وَٱلَّذِينَ يُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ يُؤۡمِنُونَ بِهِۦۖ وَهُمۡ عَلَىٰ صَلَاتِهِمۡ يُحَافِظُونَ ٩٢
And this is a Book which We have sent down, blessed and confirming what was before it, that you may warn the Mother of Cities [i.e., Makkah] and those around it.1 Those who believe in the Hereafter believe in it, and they are maintaining their prayers.

Commentary on 6:92
"Dan ini (al-Qur`an) adalah kitab yang telah Kami turunkan yang diberkahi, membenarkan kitab-kitab yang (diturunkan) se-belumnya, dan agar kamu memberi peringatan kepada (penduduk) Ummul Qura (Makkah) dan orang-orang yang di luar lingkungan-nya. Orang-orang yang beriman kepada adanya kehidupan akhirat tentu beriman kepadanya (al-Qur`an), dan mereka selalu memeli-hara shalatnya." (Al-An'am: 92).
(92) ﴾ وَهَٰذَا ﴿ "Dan ini," al-Qur`an yang ﴾ أَنزَلۡنَٰهُ ﴿ "Kami turun-kan" kepadamu. ﴾ مُبَارَكٞ ﴿ "Yang diberkahi," maksudnya, Allah mem-berinya sifat keberkahan. Hal itu karena kebaikannya yang banyak dan luas. ﴾ مُّصَدِّقُ ٱلَّذِي بَيۡنَ يَدَيۡهِ ﴿ "Membenarkan kitab-kitab yang (diturunkan) sebelumnya." Maksudnya, sesuai dengan kitab-kitab sebelumnya dan bersaksi atas kebenarannya. ﴾ وَلِتُنذِرَ أُمَّ ٱلۡقُرَىٰ وَمَنۡ حَوۡلَهَاۚ ﴿ "Dan agar kamu memberi peringatan kepada (penduduk) Ummul Qura (Makkah) dan orang-orang yang di luar lingkungannya." Maksudnya, Kami menurunkan al-Qur`an juga agar kamu memberi peringatan kepada penduduk Ummul Qura -Makkah al-Mukarramah- dan daerah Arab sekeli-lingnya bahkan seluruh negeri. Peringatkan manusia dari azab Allah dan siksaNya terhadap umat-umat, peringatkan mereka dari penyebabnya. ﴾ وَٱلَّذِينَ يُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ يُؤۡمِنُونَ بِهِۦۖ ﴿ "Orang-orang yang beriman kepada adanya kehidupan akhirat tentu beriman kepadanya (al-Qur`an)," karena jika rasa takut dalam hati telah memenuhi seluruh bagian-nya, maka ia akan tunduk kepada keridhaanNya. ﴾ وَهُمۡ عَلَىٰ صَلَاتِهِمۡ يُحَافِظُونَ ﴿ "Dan mereka selalu memelihara shalatnya." Mereka terus-menerus menetapinya, menjaga rukun-rukun, batasan-batasan, syarat-syarat, adab-adab, dan penyempurna-penyempurnanya. Semoga Allah menjadikan kita termasuk dari mereka.

6:91
وَمَا قَدَرُواْ ٱللَّهَ حَقَّ قَدۡرِهِۦٓ إِذۡ قَالُواْ مَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ بَشَرٖ مِّن شَيۡءٖۗ قُلۡ مَنۡ أَنزَلَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ ٱلَّذِي جَآءَ بِهِۦ مُوسَىٰ نُورٗا وَهُدٗى لِّلنَّاسِۖ تَجۡعَلُونَهُۥ قَرَاطِيسَ تُبۡدُونَهَا وَتُخۡفُونَ كَثِيرٗاۖ وَعُلِّمۡتُم مَّا لَمۡ تَعۡلَمُوٓاْ أَنتُمۡ وَلَآ ءَابَآؤُكُمۡۖ قُلِ ٱللَّهُۖ ثُمَّ ذَرۡهُمۡ فِي خَوۡضِهِمۡ يَلۡعَبُونَ ٩١
And they did not appraise Allāh with true appraisal1 when they said, "Allāh did not reveal to a human being anything." Say, "Who revealed the Scripture that Moses brought as light and guidance to the people? You [Jews] make it into pages, disclosing [some of] it and concealing much. And you2 were taught that which you knew not - neither you nor your fathers." Say, "Allāh [revealed it]." Then leave them in their [empty] discourse, amusing themselves.
6:92

6:93
وَمَنۡ أَظۡلَمُ مِمَّنِ ٱفۡتَرَىٰ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ كَذِبًا أَوۡ قَالَ أُوحِيَ إِلَيَّ وَلَمۡ يُوحَ إِلَيۡهِ شَيۡءٞ وَمَن قَالَ سَأُنزِلُ مِثۡلَ مَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُۗ وَلَوۡ تَرَىٰٓ إِذِ ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ فِي غَمَرَٰتِ ٱلۡمَوۡتِ وَٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ بَاسِطُوٓاْ أَيۡدِيهِمۡ أَخۡرِجُوٓاْ أَنفُسَكُمُۖ ٱلۡيَوۡمَ تُجۡزَوۡنَ عَذَابَ ٱلۡهُونِ بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَقُولُونَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ غَيۡرَ ٱلۡحَقِّ وَكُنتُمۡ عَنۡ ءَايَٰتِهِۦ تَسۡتَكۡبِرُونَ ٩٣
And who is more unjust than one who invents a lie about Allāh or says, "It has been inspired to me," while nothing has been inspired to him, and one who says, "I will reveal [something] like what Allāh revealed." And if you could but see when the wrongdoers are in the overwhelming pangs of death while the angels extend their hands,1 [saying], "Discharge your souls! Today you will be awarded the punishment of [extreme] humiliation for what you used to say against Allāh other than the truth and [that] you were, toward His verses, being arrogant."

6:94
وَلَقَدۡ جِئۡتُمُونَا فُرَٰدَىٰ كَمَا خَلَقۡنَٰكُمۡ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٖ وَتَرَكۡتُم مَّا خَوَّلۡنَٰكُمۡ وَرَآءَ ظُهُورِكُمۡۖ وَمَا نَرَىٰ مَعَكُمۡ شُفَعَآءَكُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ زَعَمۡتُمۡ أَنَّهُمۡ فِيكُمۡ شُرَكَٰٓؤُاْۚ لَقَد تَّقَطَّعَ بَيۡنَكُمۡ وَضَلَّ عَنكُم مَّا كُنتُمۡ تَزۡعُمُونَ ٩٤
[It will be said to them], "And you have certainly come to Us alone [i.e., individually] as We created you the first time, and you have left whatever We bestowed upon you behind you. And We do not see with you your 'intercessors' which you claimed that they were among you associates [of Allāh]. It has [all] been severed between you,1 and lost from you is what you used to claim."
