Al-An'am 6:98

وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِيٓ أَنشَأَكُم مِّن نَّفۡسٖ وَٰحِدَةٖ فَمُسۡتَقَرّٞ وَمُسۡتَوۡدَعٞۗ قَدۡ فَصَّلۡنَا ٱلۡأٓيَٰتِ لِقَوۡمٖ يَفۡقَهُونَ ٩٨
And it is He who produced you from one soul and [gave you] a place of dwelling and of storage.1 We have detailed the signs for a people who understand.

Commentary on 6:98
٩٨ - ﴿وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِيٓ أَنشَأَكُم﴾ أي: خلقكم ﴿مِّن نَّفۡسٖ وَٰحِدَةٖ﴾ أي: من آدم عليه السّلام، وهو تذكير بنعمة أخرى من نعم الله على عباده، التي لا تُعدّ ولا تُحصى، فإن رجوع النّاس جميعاً إلى أصل واحد أدعى إلى التّوادّ والتّراحم، فيما بينهم، كقوله جل في علاه: (يا أيها النّاس اتقوا ربكم الذي خلقكم من نفس واحدة)النّساء(١). ﴿فَمُسۡتَقَرّٞ وَمُسۡتَوۡدَعٞۗ﴾ أي: فلكم موضع استقرار في أرحام الأمّهات، وموضع استيداع في أصلاب الآباء. [وفي قراءة: (فمستقِرّ)- بكسر القاف: أي: فمنكم مُستقر في الأرحام]. وقيل: (فمستَقَر) أي: فلكم مكان استقرار، ومنتهىً تنتهون إليه، وغاية تساقون إليها، وهي: دار القرار، التي لا مستقر وراءها، ولا نهاية بعدها. (ومستودع) أي: ولكم موضع استيداع في أصلاب الآباء، وأرحام الأمّهات، وموضع استيداع في دار الدنيا، ثمّ في البرزخ، كلّ ذلك على وجه الوديعة، التي لا تستقر ولا تثبت، بل ينتقل منها الإنسان ويتحوّل، حتى يصل إلى دار القرار. فعلى هذا القول، تكون الدّار الآخرة هي المستقرّ، والدّار الدنيا هي المستودع والممر. و الاستقرار: مكث غير محدود بزمن ولا وقت وهو إلى الثبات أقرب. والاستيداع: مكث موقوت معرّض للرّد والرجوع. ﴿قَدۡ فَصَّلۡنَا﴾ أي: بيّنا ووضّحنا ﴿ٱلۡأٓيَٰتِ﴾ الدّالة على كمال قدرتنا، وبديع صنعتنا ﴿لِقَوۡمٖ يَفۡقَهُونَ﴾ عن الله آياته، ويفهمون عنه حججه وبيّناته.

6:95
۞ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ فَالِقُ ٱلۡحَبِّ وَٱلنَّوَىٰۖ يُخۡرِجُ ٱلۡحَيَّ مِنَ ٱلۡمَيِّتِ وَمُخۡرِجُ ٱلۡمَيِّتِ مِنَ ٱلۡحَيِّۚ ذَٰلِكُمُ ٱللَّهُۖ فَأَنَّىٰ تُؤۡفَكُونَ ٩٥
Indeed, Allāh is the cleaver of grain and date seeds.1 He brings the living out of the dead and brings the dead out of the living. That is Allāh; so how are you deluded?

6:96
فَالِقُ ٱلۡإِصۡبَاحِ وَجَعَلَ ٱلَّيۡلَ سَكَنٗا وَٱلشَّمۡسَ وَٱلۡقَمَرَ حُسۡبَانٗاۚ ذَٰلِكَ تَقۡدِيرُ ٱلۡعَزِيزِ ٱلۡعَلِيمِ ٩٦
[He is] the cleaver of daybreak and has made the night for rest and the sun and moon for calculation.1 That is the determination of the Exalted in Might, the Knowing.

6:97
وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِي جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلنُّجُومَ لِتَهۡتَدُواْ بِهَا فِي ظُلُمَٰتِ ٱلۡبَرِّ وَٱلۡبَحۡرِۗ قَدۡ فَصَّلۡنَا ٱلۡأٓيَٰتِ لِقَوۡمٖ يَعۡلَمُونَ ٩٧
And it is He who placed for you the stars that you may be guided by them through the darknesses of the land and sea. We have detailed the signs for a people who know.
6:98

6:99
وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِيٓ أَنزَلَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءٗ فَأَخۡرَجۡنَا بِهِۦ نَبَاتَ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ فَأَخۡرَجۡنَا مِنۡهُ خَضِرٗا نُّخۡرِجُ مِنۡهُ حَبّٗا مُّتَرَاكِبٗا وَمِنَ ٱلنَّخۡلِ مِن طَلۡعِهَا قِنۡوَانٞ دَانِيَةٞ وَجَنَّٰتٖ مِّنۡ أَعۡنَابٖ وَٱلزَّيۡتُونَ وَٱلرُّمَّانَ مُشۡتَبِهٗا وَغَيۡرَ مُتَشَٰبِهٍۗ ٱنظُرُوٓاْ إِلَىٰ ثَمَرِهِۦٓ إِذَآ أَثۡمَرَ وَيَنۡعِهِۦٓۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكُمۡ لَأٓيَٰتٖ لِّقَوۡمٖ يُؤۡمِنُونَ ٩٩
And it is He who sends down rain from the sky, and We produce thereby the growth of all things. We produce from it greenery from which We produce grains arranged in layers. And from the palm trees - of its emerging fruit are clusters hanging low. And [We produce] gardens of grapevines and olives and pomegranates, similar yet varied. Look at [each of] its fruit when it yields and [at] its ripening. Indeed in that are signs for a people who believe.
6:100
وَجَعَلُواْ لِلَّهِ شُرَكَآءَ ٱلۡجِنَّ وَخَلَقَهُمۡۖ وَخَرَقُواْ لَهُۥ بَنِينَ وَبَنَٰتِۭ بِغَيۡرِ عِلۡمٖۚ سُبۡحَٰنَهُۥ وَتَعَٰلَىٰ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ ١٠٠
But they have attributed to Allāh partners - the jinn, while He has created them - and have fabricated for Him sons and daughters without knowledge. Exalted is He and high above what they describe.
6:101
بَدِيعُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ أَنَّىٰ يَكُونُ لَهُۥ وَلَدٞ وَلَمۡ تَكُن لَّهُۥ صَٰحِبَةٞۖ وَخَلَقَ كُلَّ شَيۡءٖۖ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ شَيۡءٍ عَلِيمٞ ١٠١
[He is] Originator of the heavens and the earth. How could He have a son when He does not have a companion [i.e., wife] and He created all things? And He is, of all things, Knowing.
