Al-An'am 6:98

وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِيٓ أَنشَأَكُم مِّن نَّفۡسٖ وَٰحِدَةٖ فَمُسۡتَقَرّٞ وَمُسۡتَوۡدَعٞۗ قَدۡ فَصَّلۡنَا ٱلۡأٓيَٰتِ لِقَوۡمٖ يَفۡقَهُونَ ٩٨
And it is He who produced you from one soul and [gave you] a place of dwelling and of storage.1 We have detailed the signs for a people who understand.

Commentary on 6:98
قوله: ﴿وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِيۤ أَنشَأَكُم مِّن نَّفْسٍ وَٰحِدَةٍ﴾ الآية.
المعنى: والله الذي قد تركتم عبادته هُوَ الذي أنشأكم من نفس واحدة، وهو آدم.
﴿فَمُسْتَقَرٌّ﴾ أي في الرحم، ﴿وَمُسْتَوْدَعٌ﴾ أي: في الصلب.
وعن ابن مسعود: المستودع: المكان الذي يموت فيه، وقوله: ﴿وَيَعْلَمُ مُسْتَقَرَّهَا﴾ [هود: ٦] أي في الأرحام، ﴿وَمُسْتَوْدَعَهَا﴾ [هود: ٦] أي في الأصلاب، وقيل: حيث تموت.
وقال ابن جبير: المستودع: ما كان في الأصلاب، والمستقر: ما كان في البطون وعلى الأرض وفي بطنها.
وقال ابن عباس: ﴿مُسْتَقَرَّهَا﴾ [هود: ٦]: ما كان على وجه الأرض وفي الأرض، ﴿وَمُسْتَوْدَعَهَا﴾ [هود: ٦]: في الصلب. وعن ابن عباس "أيضاً": المستقر: في الأرض، والمستودع: "عند الله، وكذلك روي عن مجاهد. وقال الحسن: المستقر: في القبر، والمستودع": في الدنيا يوشك أن يلحق بصاحبه.
ومن قرأ بالفتح في ﴿فَمُسْتَقَرٌّ﴾، فمعناه: أن الله استقره. ومن كسر، رد الفعل إلى المذكور عند الاستقرار.
﴿قَدْ فَصَّلْنَا ٱلآيَٰتِ﴾ أي: بيّنّا الحجج والعلامات، ﴿لِقَوْمٍ يَفْقَهُونَ﴾ مواقِعَ الحجة. ﴿وَمُسْتَوْدَعٌ﴾، وقف، و ﴿يَفْقَهُونَ﴾ التمام.

6:95
۞ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ فَالِقُ ٱلۡحَبِّ وَٱلنَّوَىٰۖ يُخۡرِجُ ٱلۡحَيَّ مِنَ ٱلۡمَيِّتِ وَمُخۡرِجُ ٱلۡمَيِّتِ مِنَ ٱلۡحَيِّۚ ذَٰلِكُمُ ٱللَّهُۖ فَأَنَّىٰ تُؤۡفَكُونَ ٩٥
Indeed, Allāh is the cleaver of grain and date seeds.1 He brings the living out of the dead and brings the dead out of the living. That is Allāh; so how are you deluded?

6:96
فَالِقُ ٱلۡإِصۡبَاحِ وَجَعَلَ ٱلَّيۡلَ سَكَنٗا وَٱلشَّمۡسَ وَٱلۡقَمَرَ حُسۡبَانٗاۚ ذَٰلِكَ تَقۡدِيرُ ٱلۡعَزِيزِ ٱلۡعَلِيمِ ٩٦
[He is] the cleaver of daybreak and has made the night for rest and the sun and moon for calculation.1 That is the determination of the Exalted in Might, the Knowing.

6:97
وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِي جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلنُّجُومَ لِتَهۡتَدُواْ بِهَا فِي ظُلُمَٰتِ ٱلۡبَرِّ وَٱلۡبَحۡرِۗ قَدۡ فَصَّلۡنَا ٱلۡأٓيَٰتِ لِقَوۡمٖ يَعۡلَمُونَ ٩٧
And it is He who placed for you the stars that you may be guided by them through the darknesses of the land and sea. We have detailed the signs for a people who know.
6:98

6:99
وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِيٓ أَنزَلَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءٗ فَأَخۡرَجۡنَا بِهِۦ نَبَاتَ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ فَأَخۡرَجۡنَا مِنۡهُ خَضِرٗا نُّخۡرِجُ مِنۡهُ حَبّٗا مُّتَرَاكِبٗا وَمِنَ ٱلنَّخۡلِ مِن طَلۡعِهَا قِنۡوَانٞ دَانِيَةٞ وَجَنَّٰتٖ مِّنۡ أَعۡنَابٖ وَٱلزَّيۡتُونَ وَٱلرُّمَّانَ مُشۡتَبِهٗا وَغَيۡرَ مُتَشَٰبِهٍۗ ٱنظُرُوٓاْ إِلَىٰ ثَمَرِهِۦٓ إِذَآ أَثۡمَرَ وَيَنۡعِهِۦٓۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكُمۡ لَأٓيَٰتٖ لِّقَوۡمٖ يُؤۡمِنُونَ ٩٩
And it is He who sends down rain from the sky, and We produce thereby the growth of all things. We produce from it greenery from which We produce grains arranged in layers. And from the palm trees - of its emerging fruit are clusters hanging low. And [We produce] gardens of grapevines and olives and pomegranates, similar yet varied. Look at [each of] its fruit when it yields and [at] its ripening. Indeed in that are signs for a people who believe.
6:100
وَجَعَلُواْ لِلَّهِ شُرَكَآءَ ٱلۡجِنَّ وَخَلَقَهُمۡۖ وَخَرَقُواْ لَهُۥ بَنِينَ وَبَنَٰتِۭ بِغَيۡرِ عِلۡمٖۚ سُبۡحَٰنَهُۥ وَتَعَٰلَىٰ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ ١٠٠
But they have attributed to Allāh partners - the jinn, while He has created them - and have fabricated for Him sons and daughters without knowledge. Exalted is He and high above what they describe.
6:101
بَدِيعُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ أَنَّىٰ يَكُونُ لَهُۥ وَلَدٞ وَلَمۡ تَكُن لَّهُۥ صَٰحِبَةٞۖ وَخَلَقَ كُلَّ شَيۡءٖۖ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ شَيۡءٍ عَلِيمٞ ١٠١
[He is] Originator of the heavens and the earth. How could He have a son when He does not have a companion [i.e., wife] and He created all things? And He is, of all things, Knowing.
