بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
Al-Jumu'ah 62:10

فَإِذَا قُضِيَتِ ٱلصَّلَوٰةُ فَٱنتَشِرُواْ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَٱبۡتَغُواْ مِن فَضۡلِ ٱللَّهِ وَٱذۡكُرُواْ ٱللَّهَ كَثِيرٗا لَّعَلَّكُمۡ تُفۡلِحُونَ ١٠
And when the prayer has been concluded, disperse within the land and seek from the bounty of Allāh, and remember Allāh often that you may succeed.

Commentary on 62:9–10
القَوْلُ في تَأْوِيلِ قَوْلِهِ تَعالى:
[٩ - ١٠] ﴿يا أيُّها الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إذا نُودِيَ لِلصَّلاةِ مِن يَوْمِ الجُمُعَةِ فاسْعَوْا إلى ذِكْرِ اللَّهِ وذَرُوا البَيْعَ ذَلِكم خَيْرٌ لَكم إنْ كُنْتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ﴾ ﴿فَإذا قُضِيَتِ الصَّلاةُ فانْتَشِرُوا في الأرْضِ وابْتَغُوا مِن فَضْلِ اللَّهِ واذْكُرُوا اللَّهَ كَثِيرًا لَعَلَّكم تُفْلِحُونَ﴾ [الجمعة: ١٠]
﴿يا أيُّها الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إذا نُودِيَ لِلصَّلاةِ مِن يَوْمِ الجُمُعَةِ﴾ أيْ: عِنْدَ جُلُوسِ الإمامِ (p-٥٨٠٢)عَلى المِنبَرِ؛ لِأنَّهُ لَمْ يَكُنْ في عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ نِداءٌ سِواهُ، ««كانَ إذا جَلَسَ عَلى المِنبَرِ، أذَّنَ بِلالٌ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ»» ﴿فاسْعَوْا إلى ذِكْرِ اللَّهِ﴾ أيِ: الخُطْبَةِ والصَّلاةِ ﴿وذَرُوا البَيْعَ﴾ أيْ: في ذَلِكَ الوَقْتِ. قالَ أبُو مالِكٍ: كانَ قَوْمٌ يَجْلِسُونَ في بَقِيعِ الزُّبَيْرِ، فَيَشْتَرُونَ ويَبِيعُونَ إذا نُودِيَ لِلصَّلاةِ يَوْمَ الجُمْعَةِ؛ فَنَزَلَتْ: ﴿ذَلِكم خَيْرٌ لَكُمْ﴾ أيْ: سَعْيُكم لَها، وتَرْكُ البَيْعِ، خَيْرٌ لَكم مِمّا نَفْعُهُ يَسِيرٌ، ورِبْحُهُ مُقارِبٌ ﴿إنْ كُنْتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ﴾ ﴿فَإذا قُضِيَتِ الصَّلاةُ﴾ [الجمعة: ١٠] أيْ: أُدِّيَتْ وفُرِغَ مِنها ﴿فانْتَشِرُوا في الأرْضِ وابْتَغُوا مِن فَضْلِ اللَّهِ واذْكُرُوا اللَّهَ كَثِيرًا لَعَلَّكم تُفْلِحُونَ﴾ [الجمعة: ١٠] أيِ: اذْكُرُوا أمْرَهُ ودِينَهُ وشَرْعَهُ دائِمًا، لِتَصِيرَ مَلَكَةً لَكُمْ، تَظْهَرُ آثارُها عَلى أعْمالِكم وأخْلاقُكُمْ، فَتُفْلِحُوا بِسَعادَةِ الدّارَيْنِ.
قالَ ابْنُ جَرِيرٍ: أيِ اذْكُرُوهُ بِالحَمْدِ لَهُ، والشُّكْرِ عَلى ما أنْعَمَ بِهِ عَلَيْكم مِنَ التَّوْفِيقِ لِأداءِ فَرائِضِهِ، لِتُفْلِحُوا فَتُدْرِكُوا طَلَباتِكم عِنْدَ رَبِّكُمْ، وتَصِلُوا إلى الخُلْدِ في جِنانِهِ.

62:9
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ إِذَا نُودِيَ لِلصَّلَوٰةِ مِن يَوۡمِ ٱلۡجُمُعَةِ فَٱسۡعَوۡاْ إِلَىٰ ذِكۡرِ ٱللَّهِ وَذَرُواْ ٱلۡبَيۡعَۚ ذَٰلِكُمۡ خَيۡرٞ لَّكُمۡ إِن كُنتُمۡ تَعۡلَمُونَ ٩
O you who have believed, when [the adhān] is called for the prayer on the day of Jumuʿah [Friday], then proceed to the remembrance of Allāh and leave trade. That is better for you, if you only knew.
62:10
فَإِذَا قُضِيَتِ ٱلصَّلَوٰةُ فَٱنتَشِرُواْ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَٱبۡتَغُواْ مِن فَضۡلِ ٱللَّهِ وَٱذۡكُرُواْ ٱللَّهَ كَثِيرٗا لَّعَلَّكُمۡ تُفۡلِحُونَ ١٠

62:11
وَإِذَا رَأَوۡاْ تِجَٰرَةً أَوۡ لَهۡوًا ٱنفَضُّوٓاْ إِلَيۡهَا وَتَرَكُوكَ قَآئِمٗاۚ قُلۡ مَا عِندَ ٱللَّهِ خَيۡرٞ مِّنَ ٱللَّهۡوِ وَمِنَ ٱلتِّجَٰرَةِۚ وَٱللَّهُ خَيۡرُ ٱلرَّٰزِقِينَ ١١
But [on one occasion] when they saw a transaction or a diversion, [O Muḥammad], they rushed to it and left you standing. Say, "What is with Allāh is better than diversion and than a transaction, and Allāh is the best of providers."
سورة المنافقون
Al-Munafiqun
The Hypocrites · Medinan · 11 ayahs
بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
63:1
إِذَا جَآءَكَ ٱلۡمُنَٰفِقُونَ قَالُواْ نَشۡهَدُ إِنَّكَ لَرَسُولُ ٱللَّهِۗ وَٱللَّهُ يَعۡلَمُ إِنَّكَ لَرَسُولُهُۥ وَٱللَّهُ يَشۡهَدُ إِنَّ ٱلۡمُنَٰفِقِينَ لَكَٰذِبُونَ ١
When the hypocrites come to you, [O Muḥammad], they say, "We testify that you are the Messenger of Allāh." And Allāh knows that you are His Messenger, and Allāh testifies that the hypocrites are liars.
63:2
ٱتَّخَذُوٓاْ أَيۡمَٰنَهُمۡ جُنَّةٗ فَصَدُّواْ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِۚ إِنَّهُمۡ سَآءَ مَا كَانُواْ يَعۡمَلُونَ ٢
They have taken their oaths as a cover, so they averted [people] from the way of Allāh. Indeed, it was evil that they were doing.
63:3
ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمۡ ءَامَنُواْ ثُمَّ كَفَرُواْ فَطُبِعَ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمۡ فَهُمۡ لَا يَفۡقَهُونَ ٣
That is because they believed, and then they disbelieved; so their hearts were sealed over, and they do not understand.
63:4
۞ وَإِذَا رَأَيۡتَهُمۡ تُعۡجِبُكَ أَجۡسَامُهُمۡۖ وَإِن يَقُولُواْ تَسۡمَعۡ لِقَوۡلِهِمۡۖ كَأَنَّهُمۡ خُشُبٞ مُّسَنَّدَةٞۖ يَحۡسَبُونَ كُلَّ صَيۡحَةٍ عَلَيۡهِمۡۚ هُمُ ٱلۡعَدُوُّ فَٱحۡذَرۡهُمۡۚ قَٰتَلَهُمُ ٱللَّهُۖ أَنَّىٰ يُؤۡفَكُونَ ٤
And when you see them, their forms please you, and if they speak, you listen to their speech. [They are] as if they were pieces of wood propped up1 - they think that every shout is against them. They are the enemy, so beware of them. May Allāh destroy them; how are they deluded?
