ٱلَّذِينَ يَتَّبِعُونَ ٱلرَّسُولَ ٱلنَّبِيَّ ٱلۡأُمِّيَّ ٱلَّذِي يَجِدُونَهُۥ مَكۡتُوبًا عِندَهُمۡ فِي ٱلتَّوۡرَىٰةِ وَٱلۡإِنجِيلِ يَأۡمُرُهُم بِٱلۡمَعۡرُوفِ وَيَنۡهَىٰهُمۡ عَنِ ٱلۡمُنكَرِ وَيُحِلُّ لَهُمُ ٱلطَّيِّبَٰتِ وَيُحَرِّمُ عَلَيۡهِمُ ٱلۡخَبَٰٓئِثَ وَيَضَعُ عَنۡهُمۡ إِصۡرَهُمۡ وَٱلۡأَغۡلَٰلَ ٱلَّتِي كَانَتۡ عَلَيۡهِمۡۚ فَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ بِهِۦ وَعَزَّرُوهُ وَنَصَرُوهُ وَٱتَّبَعُواْ ٱلنُّورَ ٱلَّذِيٓ أُنزِلَ مَعَهُۥٓ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡمُفۡلِحُونَ ١٥٧
Those who follow the Messenger, the unlettered prophet, whom they find written [i.e., described] in what they have of the Torah and the Gospel, who enjoins upon them what is right and prohibits them from what is wrong and makes lawful for them what is good and forbids them from what is evil and relieves them of their burden1 and the shackles which were upon them.2 So they who have believed in him, honored him, supported him and followed the light which was sent down with him - it is those who will be the successful.

บรรดาผู้ปฏิบัติตามมุฮัมมัด ศ็อลลัลลอฮุอะลัยฮิวะสัลลัม นบีผู้อ่านไม่ออกเขียนไม่ได้ แต่อัลลอฮ์ทรงประทานโองการ (วะห์ยุ) ให้แก่เขา ซึ่งเขาคือผู้ที่พวกเขาได้พบชื่อของเขา คุณลักษณะของเขาและสิ่งที่ถูกประทานลงมาแก่เขาในคัมภีร์อัตเตารอฮ์ที่ถูกประทานลงมายังมูซา อะลัยฮิสสาลาม และคัมภีร์อัลอินญีลที่ถูกประทานลงมายังอีซา อะลัยฮิสสาลาม เขาจะสั่งใช้คนเหล่านั้นให้ปฏิบัติตามคุณธรรมความดีและห้ามปรามพวกเขาจากสิ่งที่สติปัญญาและสัญชาตญาณอันเที่ยงธรรมรู้กันว่าเป็นสิ่งที่ไม่ดี และเขาจะอนุมัติสิ่งที่ดีทั้งหลายที่ไม่เป็นอันตรายต่อพวกเขา เช่น อาหาร เครื่องดื่ม และการแต่งงาน และจะห้ามพวกเขาในสิ่งที่ไม่ดีต่าง ๆ จากสิ่งเหล่านั้น และเขาได้ขจัดภาระอันหนักอึ้งที่พวกเขาเคยแบกรับกันในอดีต อาทิเช่น การบังคับใช้การประหารชีวิตฆาตกรที่ฆ่าคนตายไม่ว่าจะโดยเจตนาหรือไม่เจตนาก็ตาม ดังนั้นบรรดาผู้ที่ศรัทธาต่อเขาจากวงศ์วานอิสราอีลหรือกลุ่มชนอื่น ๆ ด้วยการให้เกียรติแก่เขา ช่วยเหลือเขาในการต่อต้านศัตรูที่มาจากบรรดาผู้ปฏิเสธศรัทธาทั้งหลาย และปฏิบัติตามอัลกุรอานที่เปรียบเสมือนแสงสว่างชี้นำทางที่ถูกประทานลงมาแก่เขา พวกเขาเหล่านั้นเป็นกลุ่มชนที่ประสบความสำเร็จที่จะได้รับในสิ่งที่พวกเขาร้องขอและจะได้รับการปกป้องให้ห่างไกลจากสิ่งที่พวกเขาหวาดเกรง

7:156
۞ وَٱكۡتُبۡ لَنَا فِي هَٰذِهِ ٱلدُّنۡيَا حَسَنَةٗ وَفِي ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ إِنَّا هُدۡنَآ إِلَيۡكَۚ قَالَ عَذَابِيٓ أُصِيبُ بِهِۦ مَنۡ أَشَآءُۖ وَرَحۡمَتِي وَسِعَتۡ كُلَّ شَيۡءٖۚ فَسَأَكۡتُبُهَا لِلَّذِينَ يَتَّقُونَ وَيُؤۡتُونَ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَٱلَّذِينَ هُم بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ ١٥٦
And decree for us in this world [that which is] good and [also] in the Hereafter; indeed, we have turned back to You." [Allāh] said, "My punishment - I afflict with it whom I will, but My mercy encompasses all things." So I will decree it [especially] for those who fear Me and give zakāh and those who believe in Our verses-
7:157

7:158
قُلۡ يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ إِنِّي رَسُولُ ٱللَّهِ إِلَيۡكُمۡ جَمِيعًا ٱلَّذِي لَهُۥ مُلۡكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ يُحۡيِۦ وَيُمِيتُۖ فَـَٔامِنُواْ بِٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ ٱلنَّبِيِّ ٱلۡأُمِّيِّ ٱلَّذِي يُؤۡمِنُ بِٱللَّهِ وَكَلِمَٰتِهِۦ وَٱتَّبِعُوهُ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَهۡتَدُونَ ١٥٨
Say, [O Muḥammad], "O mankind, indeed I am the Messenger of Allāh to you all, [from Him] to whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. There is no deity except Him; He gives life and causes death." So believe in Allāh and His Messenger, the unlettered prophet, who believes in Allāh and His words, and follow him that you may be guided.
7:159
وَمِن قَوۡمِ مُوسَىٰٓ أُمَّةٞ يَهۡدُونَ بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَبِهِۦ يَعۡدِلُونَ ١٥٩
And among the people of Moses is a community1 which guides by truth and by it establishes justice.
