Al-A'raf 7:49

أَهَٰٓؤُلَآءِ ٱلَّذِينَ أَقۡسَمۡتُمۡ لَا يَنَالُهُمُ ٱللَّهُ بِرَحۡمَةٍۚ ٱدۡخُلُواْ ٱلۡجَنَّةَ لَا خَوۡفٌ عَلَيۡكُمۡ وَلَآ أَنتُمۡ تَحۡزَنُونَ ٤٩
[Allāh will say], "Are these1 the ones whom you [inhabitants of Hell] swore that Allāh would never offer them mercy? Enter Paradise, [O people of the Elevations]. No fear will there be concerning you, nor will you grieve."

Commentary on 7:48–53
﴿ونادى أصْحابُ الأعْرافِ رِجالًا﴾ من الكفرة ﴿يَعْرِفُونَهُم بِسِيماهمْ﴾ من رؤساء الكفرة يقولون: يا وليد بن المغيرة يا أبا جهل يا فلان يا فلان ﴿قالُوا ما أغْنى عَنْكم جَمْعُكُمْ﴾ لم تنفعكم كثرتكم أو جمعكم المال ﴿وما كُنتُمْ تَسْتَكْبِرونَ﴾ عن الحق ﴿أهَؤُلاءِ الَّذِينَ أقْسَمْتُمْ لا يَنالُهُمُ اللهُ بِرَحْمَةٍ﴾ من تتمة قول أهل الأعراف لأولئك الكفار، والإشارة إلى ضعفاء الجنة التي كانت الكفرة يحتقرونهم في الدنيا ويحلفون أنّهم لا يدخلون الجنة ﴿ادْخُلُوا الجَنَّةَ لا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْكم ولا أنْتُمْ تَحْزَنُونَ﴾ أي: ثم يقال لأهل الأعراف ذلك، أو لما عير أهل الأعراف أهل النار قال أهل النار: إن دخل هؤلاء الجنة فوالله أنتم لا تدخلونها تعييرًا لهم فقال الملائكة: أهؤلاء أي: أهل الأعراف الذين أقسمتم يا أهل النار أنه لا ينالهم الله برحمته؟!، ثم قالت الملائكة لهم ”ادخلو الجنة“ الآية ﴿ونادى أصْحابُ النّارِ أصْحابَ الجَنَّةِ أنْ أفِيضُوا عَلَيْنا مِنَ الماءِ أوْ﴾ ألقوا علينا ﴿مِمّا رَزَقَكُمُ اللهُ﴾ من الطعام ﴿قالُوا إنَّ اللهَ حَرَّمَهُما﴾ أي: ماء الجنة وطعامها ﴿عَلى الكافِرِينَ الَّذِينَ اتخَذُوا دِينَهم لَهْوًا ولَعِبًا﴾ فاستهزءوا به أو جعلوا اللهو واللعب دينهم، وهو ما زين لهم الشيطان كتحريم البحيرة والتصدية وغيرهما ﴿وغَرَّتْهُمُ الحَياةُ الدُّنْيا﴾ فتركوا الآخرة ﴿فاليَوْمَ نَنساهمْ﴾ نعاملهم معاملة الناسين فنخليهم في جهنم ﴿كَما نَسُوا لِقاءَ يَوْمِهِمْ هَذا﴾ فلم يستعدوا له ﴿وما كانُوا بِآياتِنا يَجْحَدُونَ﴾ وكما كانوا منكرين أنه من عند الله.
﴿ولَقَدْ جِئْناهُم بِكِتابٍ﴾ قرآن ﴿فَصَّلْناهُ﴾ بينا مواعظه وأحكامه ﴿عَلى عِلْمٍ﴾ منا بما فصلناه به حال من المفعول ﴿هُدًى ورَحْمَةً﴾ نصبهما بالحال من المفعول ﴿لِقَوْمٍ يُؤْمِنُونَ هَلْ يَنْظُرُونَ﴾ ينتظرون ﴿إلا تَأوِيلَهُ﴾ ما يئول إليه أمر الكتاب من صدق وعده ووعيده وكذبهما ﴿يَوْمَ يَأتِي تَأوِيلُهُ﴾ وهو يوم القيامة ﴿يَقُولُ الَّذِينَ نَسُوهُ﴾ تركوا الإيمان به والعمل له ﴿مِن قَبْلُ﴾ قبل إتيانه أي: في الدنيا ﴿قَدْ جاءَتْ رُسُل ربنا بِالحَقِّ﴾ ونحن كذبناهم ﴿فَهَلْ لَنا مِن شُفَعاءَ فَيَشْفَعُوا لَنا﴾ اليوم ﴿أوْ نُرَدُّ﴾ أي: هل نرد إلى الدنيا؛ ﴿فَنَعْمَلَ﴾ جواب هل نرد ﴿غَيْرَ الَّذِي كُنّا نَعْمَلُ قَدْ خَسِرُوا أنْفُسَهُمْ﴾ بصرف العمر في الكفر ﴿وضَلَّ﴾ غاب وبطل ﴿عَنْهم ما كانُوا يَفْتَرُونَ﴾ أي: لم ينفعهم آلهتهم.

7:44
وَنَادَىٰٓ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡجَنَّةِ أَصۡحَٰبَ ٱلنَّارِ أَن قَدۡ وَجَدۡنَا مَا وَعَدَنَا رَبُّنَا حَقّٗا فَهَلۡ وَجَدتُّم مَّا وَعَدَ رَبُّكُمۡ حَقّٗاۖ قَالُواْ نَعَمۡۚ فَأَذَّنَ مُؤَذِّنُۢ بَيۡنَهُمۡ أَن لَّعۡنَةُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَى ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ ٤٤
And the companions of Paradise will call out to the companions of the Fire, "We have already found what our Lord promised us to be true. Have you found what your Lord promised to be true?" They will say, "Yes." Then an announcer will announce among them, "The curse of Allāh shall be upon the wrongdoers
7:45
ٱلَّذِينَ يَصُدُّونَ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَيَبۡغُونَهَا عِوَجٗا وَهُم بِٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ كَٰفِرُونَ ٤٥
Who averted [people] from the way of Allāh and sought to make it [seem] deviant while they were, concerning the Hereafter, disbelievers."
7:46
وَبَيۡنَهُمَا حِجَابٞۚ وَعَلَى ٱلۡأَعۡرَافِ رِجَالٞ يَعۡرِفُونَ كُلَّۢا بِسِيمَىٰهُمۡۚ وَنَادَوۡاْ أَصۡحَٰبَ ٱلۡجَنَّةِ أَن سَلَٰمٌ عَلَيۡكُمۡۚ لَمۡ يَدۡخُلُوهَا وَهُمۡ يَطۡمَعُونَ ٤٦
And between them will be a partition [i.e., wall], and on [its] elevations are men1 who recognize all2 by their mark. And they call out to the companions of Paradise, "Peace be upon you." They have not [yet] entered it, but they long intensely.
7:47
۞ وَإِذَا صُرِفَتۡ أَبۡصَٰرُهُمۡ تِلۡقَآءَ أَصۡحَٰبِ ٱلنَّارِ قَالُواْ رَبَّنَا لَا تَجۡعَلۡنَا مَعَ ٱلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ ٤٧
And when their eyes are turned toward the companions of the Fire, they say, "Our Lord, do not place us with the wrongdoing people."
7:48
وَنَادَىٰٓ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡأَعۡرَافِ رِجَالٗا يَعۡرِفُونَهُم بِسِيمَىٰهُمۡ قَالُواْ مَآ أَغۡنَىٰ عَنكُمۡ جَمۡعُكُمۡ وَمَا كُنتُمۡ تَسۡتَكۡبِرُونَ ٤٨
And the companions of the Elevations will call to men [within Hell] whom they recognize by their mark, saying, "Of no avail to you was your gathering1 and [the fact] that you were arrogant."

7:49
أَهَٰٓؤُلَآءِ ٱلَّذِينَ أَقۡسَمۡتُمۡ لَا يَنَالُهُمُ ٱللَّهُ بِرَحۡمَةٍۚ ٱدۡخُلُواْ ٱلۡجَنَّةَ لَا خَوۡفٌ عَلَيۡكُمۡ وَلَآ أَنتُمۡ تَحۡزَنُونَ ٤٩

7:50
وَنَادَىٰٓ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلنَّارِ أَصۡحَٰبَ ٱلۡجَنَّةِ أَنۡ أَفِيضُواْ عَلَيۡنَا مِنَ ٱلۡمَآءِ أَوۡ مِمَّا رَزَقَكُمُ ٱللَّهُۚ قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ حَرَّمَهُمَا عَلَى ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ ٥٠
And the companions of the Fire will call to the companions of Paradise, "Pour upon us some water or from whatever Allāh has provided you." They will say, "Indeed, Allāh has forbidden them both to the disbelievers
7:51
ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّخَذُواْ دِينَهُمۡ لَهۡوٗا وَلَعِبٗا وَغَرَّتۡهُمُ ٱلۡحَيَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنۡيَاۚ فَٱلۡيَوۡمَ نَنسَىٰهُمۡ كَمَا نَسُواْ لِقَآءَ يَوۡمِهِمۡ هَٰذَا وَمَا كَانُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا يَجۡحَدُونَ ٥١
Who took their religion as distraction and amusement and whom the worldly life deluded." So today We will forget them just as they forgot the meeting of this Day of theirs and for having rejected Our verses.
