Al-A'raf 7:71

قَالَ قَدۡ وَقَعَ عَلَيۡكُم مِّن رَّبِّكُمۡ رِجۡسٞ وَغَضَبٌۖ أَتُجَٰدِلُونَنِي فِيٓ أَسۡمَآءٖ سَمَّيۡتُمُوهَآ أَنتُمۡ وَءَابَآؤُكُم مَّا نَزَّلَ ٱللَّهُ بِهَا مِن سُلۡطَٰنٖۚ فَٱنتَظِرُوٓاْ إِنِّي مَعَكُم مِّنَ ٱلۡمُنتَظِرِينَ ٧١
[Hūd] said, "Already have defilement and anger fallen upon you from your Lord. Do you dispute with me concerning [mere] names you have named them,1 you and your fathers, for which Allāh has not sent down any authority? Then wait; indeed, I am with you among those who wait."

Ai tha: “Mbi ju tashmë ka rënë dënimi dhe zemërimi i Zotit tuaj. - Ndëshkimi tashmë është bërë i pashmangshëm, sepse janë plotësuar të gjitha shkaqet e tij. Çasti i zbatimit të dënimit është shumë pranë.A polemizoni me mua për disa emra, që vetë ju dhe prindërit tuaj i keni vënë.... -Si është e mundur që ju polemizoni me mua për gjëra të paqena, për puta e statuja që ju i quani perëndi, por që nuk kanë asnjë lidhje me madhështinë dhe pushtetin? Ata nuk zotërojnë asnjë thërrmijë pushteti në qiej e as në tokë. Ata janë thjesht emra, që ju dhe të parët tuaj i keni shpikur. Ju nuk keni asnjë argument nga Zoti për ta....e për të cilët Allahu nuk ka shpallur asnjë fakt? -Nëse ata do të kishin vërtet diçka hyjnore, Allahu do të kishte sjellë ndonjë argument mbështetës për ta. Fakti që Allahu i Madhëruar nuk ka shpallur asnjë lloj argumenti të tillë dëshmon se ata janë të pavërtetë dhe thjesht trillime. Nuk ka çështje që u nevojitet krijesave, - e sidomos kur bëhet fjalë për çështje madhore, sikurse është adhurimi dhe i adhuruari, - që Allahu i Madhëruar të mos e ketë sqaruar në shpalljet e tij. Për çështje të tilla, Ai ka sjellë argumente të qarta dhe fakte të pamohueshme.Prisni, atëherë se edhe unë jam duke pritur bashkë me ju!” - Prisni ndëshkimin e paralajmëruar të Plotfuqishmit, që është gati të godasë ashpër mbi ju. Edhe unë do të pres së bashku me ju, por ka një ndryshim të madh mes nesh. Ju prisni t'ju godasë ndëshkimi i të Madhërishmit, ndërsa ne presim fitoren, çlirimin dhe shpërblimin bujar prej Tij. Edhe i Madhëruari bën dallimin mes dy grupeve, duke thënë më pas:

7:68
أُبَلِّغُكُمۡ رِسَٰلَٰتِ رَبِّي وَأَنَا۠ لَكُمۡ نَاصِحٌ أَمِينٌ ٦٨
I convey to you the messages of my Lord, and I am to you a trustworthy adviser.
7:69
أَوَعَجِبۡتُمۡ أَن جَآءَكُمۡ ذِكۡرٞ مِّن رَّبِّكُمۡ عَلَىٰ رَجُلٖ مِّنكُمۡ لِيُنذِرَكُمۡۚ وَٱذۡكُرُوٓاْ إِذۡ جَعَلَكُمۡ خُلَفَآءَ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ قَوۡمِ نُوحٖ وَزَادَكُمۡ فِي ٱلۡخَلۡقِ بَصۜۡطَةٗۖ فَٱذۡكُرُوٓاْ ءَالَآءَ ٱللَّهِ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تُفۡلِحُونَ ٦٩
Then do you wonder that there has come to you a reminder from your Lord through a man from among you, that he may warn you? And remember when He made you successors after the people of Noah and increased you in stature extensively. So remember the favors of Allāh that you might succeed."
7:70
قَالُوٓاْ أَجِئۡتَنَا لِنَعۡبُدَ ٱللَّهَ وَحۡدَهُۥ وَنَذَرَ مَا كَانَ يَعۡبُدُ ءَابَآؤُنَا فَأۡتِنَا بِمَا تَعِدُنَآ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ ٧٠
They said, "Have you come to us that we should worship Allāh alone and leave what our fathers have worshipped? Then bring us what you promise us,1 if you should be of the truthful."

7:71

7:72
فَأَنجَيۡنَٰهُ وَٱلَّذِينَ مَعَهُۥ بِرَحۡمَةٖ مِّنَّا وَقَطَعۡنَا دَابِرَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَاۖ وَمَا كَانُواْ مُؤۡمِنِينَ ٧٢
So We saved him and those with him by mercy from Us. And We eliminated those who denied Our signs, and they were not [at all] believers.
7:73
وَإِلَىٰ ثَمُودَ أَخَاهُمۡ صَٰلِحٗاۚ قَالَ يَٰقَوۡمِ ٱعۡبُدُواْ ٱللَّهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنۡ إِلَٰهٍ غَيۡرُهُۥۖ قَدۡ جَآءَتۡكُم بَيِّنَةٞ مِّن رَّبِّكُمۡۖ هَٰذِهِۦ نَاقَةُ ٱللَّهِ لَكُمۡ ءَايَةٗۖ فَذَرُوهَا تَأۡكُلۡ فِيٓ أَرۡضِ ٱللَّهِۖ وَلَا تَمَسُّوهَا بِسُوٓءٖ فَيَأۡخُذَكُمۡ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٞ ٧٣
And to the Thamūd [We sent] their brother Ṣāliḥ. He said, "O my people, worship Allāh; you have no deity other than Him. There has come to you clear evidence from your Lord. This is the she-camel of Allāh [sent] to you as a sign. So leave her to eat within Allāh's land and do not touch her with harm, lest there seize you a painful punishment.
