بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
Al-Mutaffifin 83:3

وَإِذَا كَالُوهُمۡ أَو وَّزَنُوهُمۡ يُخۡسِرُونَ ٣
But if they give by measure or by weight to them, they cause loss.

Commentary on 83:1–3
Mjerë për ata që masin e peshojnë mangut, Ata që kur blejnë nga të tjerët e marrin masën e plotë, Por kur u shesin të tjerëve, e masin dhe e peshojnë mangut. –Siç shihet, el muŧaffifîn janë ata që kanë këto dy cilësi:1. Kur masin për veten e vet, masin me saktësi, pa pranuar asnjë lloj mangësie. Por, nga ana tjetër:2. kur duhet t’u japin njerëzve hakun që u takon, masin e peshojnë me mangësi. Kjo, sigurisht, është vjedhje e pasurisë së njerëzve dhe shkelje e drejtësisë në marrëdhëniet me ta. Nëse ky kërcënim u drejtohet atyre që thjesht hanë në masë ose në peshë, atëherë si mendon se do të jetë gjendja e atyre që vjedhin ose grabisin me forcë?! Sigurisht, këta janë më të kërcënuar dhe më në rrezik sesa të përmendurit në ajet. Nga ajeti mësojmë se njeriu, ashtu sikurse kërkon që të tjerët t’ia japin të plota të drejtat e tij, ashtu duhet t’ua japë edhe ai atyre gjërat që u takojnë, në çdo lloj bashkëpunimi ndërnjerëzor. Madje, kjo lloj drejtësie duhet të zbatohet edhe në sferën e debatit. Është e vërtetë që çdo njeri synon të mbrojë tezën e vet, por për të qenë i drejtë, duhet që t’u kushtojë vëmendje edhe argumenteve të kundërshtarit. Kështu, ai mund të ruhet nga mendjemadhësia dhe mospërfillja. E lusim Allahun e Madhëruar që të na udhëzojë dhe ndihmojë të arrijmë çdo mirësi dhe virtyt të lartë. Në vijim, Allahu i Madhëruar i kërcënon mutaffifin-ët me fjalë që shprehin çudi për vazhdimësinë e tyre në këtë rrugë të gabuar, duke marrë parasysh se çfarë i pret. Ai thotë:

Al-Infitar
The Cleaving · Meccan · 19 ayahs
بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
82:1
إِذَا ٱلسَّمَآءُ ٱنفَطَرَتۡ ١
When the sky breaks apart
82:2
وَإِذَا ٱلۡكَوَاكِبُ ٱنتَثَرَتۡ ٢
And when the stars fall, scattering,
82:3
وَإِذَا ٱلۡبِحَارُ فُجِّرَتۡ ٣
And when the seas are erupted
82:4
وَإِذَا ٱلۡقُبُورُ بُعۡثِرَتۡ ٤
And when the [contents of] graves are scattered [i.e., exposed],
82:5
عَلِمَتۡ نَفۡسٞ مَّا قَدَّمَتۡ وَأَخَّرَتۡ ٥
A soul will [then] know what it has put forth and kept back.
82:6
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ مَا غَرَّكَ بِرَبِّكَ ٱلۡكَرِيمِ ٦
O mankind, what has deceived you concerning your Lord, the Generous,
82:7
ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَكَ فَسَوَّىٰكَ فَعَدَلَكَ ٧
Who created you, proportioned you, and balanced you?
82:8
فِيٓ أَيِّ صُورَةٖ مَّا شَآءَ رَكَّبَكَ ٨
In whatever form He willed has He assembled you.
82:9
كـَلَّا بَلۡ تُكَذِّبُونَ بِٱلدِّينِ ٩
No! But you deny the Recompense.
82:10
وَإِنَّ عَلَيۡكُمۡ لَحَٰفِظِينَ ١٠
And indeed, [appointed] over you are keepers,1

82:11
كِرَامٗا كَٰتِبِينَ ١١
Noble and recording;
82:12
يَعۡلَمُونَ مَا تَفۡعَلُونَ ١٢
They know whatever you do.
82:13
إِنَّ ٱلۡأَبۡرَارَ لَفِي نَعِيمٖ ١٣
Indeed, the righteous will be in pleasure,
82:14
وَإِنَّ ٱلۡفُجَّارَ لَفِي جَحِيمٖ ١٤
And indeed, the wicked will be in Hellfire.
82:15
يَصۡلَوۡنَهَا يَوۡمَ ٱلدِّينِ ١٥
They will [enter to] burn therein on the Day of Recompense,
82:16
وَمَا هُمۡ عَنۡهَا بِغَآئِبِينَ ١٦
And never therefrom will they be absent.
82:17
وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا يَوۡمُ ٱلدِّينِ ١٧
And what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense?
82:18
ثُمَّ مَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا يَوۡمُ ٱلدِّينِ ١٨
Then, what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense?
82:19
يَوۡمَ لَا تَمۡلِكُ نَفۡسٞ لِّنَفۡسٖ شَيۡـٔٗاۖ وَٱلۡأَمۡرُ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لِّلَّهِ ١٩
It is the Day when a soul will not possess for another soul [power to do] a thing; and the command, that Day, is [entirely] with Allāh.
سورة المطففين
Al-Mutaffifin

بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
83:1
وَيۡلٞ لِّلۡمُطَفِّفِينَ ١
Woe to those who give less [than due],1

- i.e., those who cheat people by giving them less than what they paid for when weighing or measuring - an amount so little as to hardly be noticed. ↩
83:2
ٱلَّذِينَ إِذَا ٱكۡتَالُواْ عَلَى ٱلنَّاسِ يَسۡتَوۡفُونَ ٢
Who, when they take a measure from people, take in full.
83:3
وَإِذَا كَالُوهُمۡ أَو وَّزَنُوهُمۡ يُخۡسِرُونَ ٣
But if they give by measure or by weight to them, they cause loss.
83:4
أَلَا يَظُنُّ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ أَنَّهُم مَّبۡعُوثُونَ ٤
Do they not think that they will be resurrected
83:5
لِيَوۡمٍ عَظِيمٖ ٥
For a tremendous Day -
83:6
يَوۡمَ يَقُومُ ٱلنَّاسُ لِرَبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ ٦
The Day when mankind will stand before the Lord of the worlds?
