إِنَّآ أَنزَلۡنَٰهُ فِي لَيۡلَةِ ٱلۡقَدۡرِ ١
Indeed, We sent it [i.e., the Qur’ān] down during the Night of Decree.

Commentary on 97:1
Duke treguar mirësinë dhe gradën e lartë të Kur'anit, Allahu i Madhëruar thotë:Ne e zbritëm atë(Kur'anin)në Natën e Kadrit. -Në suren Duhan, ajetet 3 dhe 4, Allahu i Madhëruar e përshkruan këtë natë si “mubârake” - të begatshme e të bekuar. Ai thotë: “Ne e zbritëm atë në një Natë të bekuar. Ne gjithmonë kemi paralajmëruar (popujt). Atë Natë vendoset në mënyrë të prerë çdo çështje e urtë,…” Dhe është shumë e vërtetë që Allahu i Madhëruar e filloi shpalljen e Kur'anit në muajin e Ramazanit, pikërisht natën e Kadrit. Kështu, Zoti i përfshiu robërit me një mëshirë të gjerë, për të cilën ata kurrë nuk do të mund ta falënderojnë dhe t’i shprehin mirënjohjen ashtu si e meriton. Ajo është quajtur Nata e Kadrit, për shkak të vlerës së madhe të saj. Në këtë natë, Allahu përcakton gjithçka do të ndodhë gjatë vitit, si afatin e jetës, rizkun e fëmijës etj. Më tej, për t’i dhënë më shumë rëndësi çështjes së Natës së Kadrit, Allahu bën një pyetje:

Al-Qadr

بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
97:1
إِنَّآ أَنزَلۡنَٰهُ فِي لَيۡلَةِ ٱلۡقَدۡرِ ١
Indeed, We sent it [i.e., the Qur’ān] down during the Night of Decree.
97:2
وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا لَيۡلَةُ ٱلۡقَدۡرِ ٢
And what can make you know what is the Night of Decree?
97:3
لَيۡلَةُ ٱلۡقَدۡرِ خَيۡرٞ مِّنۡ أَلۡفِ شَهۡرٖ ٣
The Night of Decree is better than a thousand months.
97:4
تَنَزَّلُ ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ وَٱلرُّوحُ فِيهَا بِإِذۡنِ رَبِّهِم مِّن كُلِّ أَمۡرٖ ٤
The angels and the Spirit [i.e., Gabriel] descend therein by permission of their Lord for every matter.1

97:5
سَلَٰمٌ هِيَ حَتَّىٰ مَطۡلَعِ ٱلۡفَجۡرِ ٥
Peace it is1 until the emergence of dawn.

سورة البينة
Al-Bayyinah
The Clear Proof · Medinan · 8 ayahs
بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
98:1
لَمۡ يَكُنِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِنۡ أَهۡلِ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ وَٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ مُنفَكِّينَ حَتَّىٰ تَأۡتِيَهُمُ ٱلۡبَيِّنَةُ ١
Those who disbelieved among the People of the Scripture and the polytheists were not to be parted [from misbelief]1 until there came to them clear evidence –

98:2
رَسُولٞ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ يَتۡلُواْ صُحُفٗا مُّطَهَّرَةٗ ٢
A Messenger from Allāh, reciting purified1 scriptures

98:3
فِيهَا كُتُبٞ قَيِّمَةٞ ٣
Within which are correct writings [i.e., rulings and laws].
98:4
وَمَا تَفَرَّقَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ إِلَّا مِنۢ بَعۡدِ مَا جَآءَتۡهُمُ ٱلۡبَيِّنَةُ ٤
Nor did those who were given the Scripture become divided1 until after there had come to them clear evidence.

98:5
وَمَآ أُمِرُوٓاْ إِلَّا لِيَعۡبُدُواْ ٱللَّهَ مُخۡلِصِينَ لَهُ ٱلدِّينَ حُنَفَآءَ وَيُقِيمُواْ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَيُؤۡتُواْ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَۚ وَذَٰلِكَ دِينُ ٱلۡقَيِّمَةِ ٥
And they were not commanded except to worship Allāh, [being] sincere to Him in religion, inclining to truth, and to establish prayer and to give zakāh. And that is the correct religion.
98:6
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِنۡ أَهۡلِ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ وَٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ فِي نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَآۚ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ هُمۡ شَرُّ ٱلۡبَرِيَّةِ ٦
Indeed, they who disbelieved among the People of the Scripture and the polytheists will be in the fire of Hell, abiding eternally therein. Those are the worst of creatures.
98:7
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ هُمۡ خَيۡرُ ٱلۡبَرِيَّةِ ٧
Indeed, they who have believed and done righteous deeds - those are the best of creatures.
