بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
Al-Bayyinah 98:8

جَزَآؤُهُمۡ عِندَ رَبِّهِمۡ جَنَّٰتُ عَدۡنٖ تَجۡرِي مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَآ أَبَدٗاۖ رَّضِيَ ٱللَّهُ عَنۡهُمۡ وَرَضُواْ عَنۡهُۚ ذَٰلِكَ لِمَنۡ خَشِيَ رَبَّهُۥ ٨
Their reward with their Lord will be gardens of perpetual residence beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide forever, Allāh being pleased with them and they with Him. That is for whoever has feared his Lord.

Commentary on 98:8
﴿رِّضِىَ ٱللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ وَرَضُواْ عَنْهُ﴾ اختلف هل هذا في الدنيا أو في الآخرة؟ فرضاهم عن الله في الدنيا وهو الرضا بقضائه والرضا بدينه قال رسول الله ﷺ: ذاق طعم الإيمان من رضي بالله رباً وبالإسلام ديناً وبمحمد رسولاً، ورضاهم عنه في الآخرة: هو رضاهم بما أعطاهم الله فيها، أو رضا الله عنهم لما ورد في الحديث أن الله يقول: يا أهل الجنة هل تريدون شيئاً أزيدكم؟ فيقولون: يا ربنا وأي شيء نريد وقد أعطيتنا ما لم تعط أحداً من العالمين. فيقول: عندي أفضل من ذلك وهو رضواني فلا أسخط عليكم أبداً.
﴿ذَلِكَ لِمَنْ خَشِيَ رَبَّهُ﴾ أي لمن خافه وهذا دليل على فضل الخوف قال رسول الله ﷺ خوف الله رأس كل حكمة.

سورة الزلزلة
Az-Zalzalah
The Earthquake · Medinan · 8 ayahs
بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
99:1
إِذَا زُلۡزِلَتِ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ زِلۡزَالَهَا ١
When the earth is shaken with its [final] earthquake
99:2
وَأَخۡرَجَتِ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ أَثۡقَالَهَا ٢
And the earth discharges its burdens1

99:3
وَقَالَ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ مَا لَهَا ٣
And man says,1 "What is [wrong] with it?" -

99:4
يَوۡمَئِذٖ تُحَدِّثُ أَخۡبَارَهَا ٤
That Day, it will report its news
99:5
بِأَنَّ رَبَّكَ أَوۡحَىٰ لَهَا ٥
Because your Lord has inspired [i.e., commanded] it.
99:6
يَوۡمَئِذٖ يَصۡدُرُ ٱلنَّاسُ أَشۡتَاتٗا لِّيُرَوۡاْ أَعۡمَٰلَهُمۡ ٦
That Day, the people will depart1 separated [into categories] to be shown [the result of] their deeds.

99:7
فَمَن يَعۡمَلۡ مِثۡقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَيۡرٗا يَرَهُۥ ٧
So whoever does an atom's weight1 of good will see it,

99:8
وَمَن يَعۡمَلۡ مِثۡقَالَ ذَرَّةٖ شَرّٗا يَرَهُۥ ٨
And whoever does an atom's weight of evil will see it.
سورة العاديات
Al-'Adiyat
The Courser · Meccan · 11 ayahs
بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
100:1
وَٱلۡعَٰدِيَٰتِ ضَبۡحٗا ١
By the racers, panting,1

- i.e., the horses bearing riders as they race to attack the enemy. ↩
100:2
فَٱلۡمُورِيَٰتِ قَدۡحٗا ٢
And the producers of sparks [when] striking1

- Their hoofs while galloping over rocky terrain. ↩
100:3
فَٱلۡمُغِيرَٰتِ صُبۡحٗا ٣
And the chargers at dawn,1

- While the enemy is unaware. ↩
100:4
فَأَثَرۡنَ بِهِۦ نَقۡعٗا ٤
Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust,
100:5
فَوَسَطۡنَ بِهِۦ جَمۡعًا ٥
Arriving thereby in the center1 collectively,

100:6
إِنَّ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ لِرَبِّهِۦ لَكَنُودٞ ٦
Indeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungrateful.
100:7
وَإِنَّهُۥ عَلَىٰ ذَٰلِكَ لَشَهِيدٞ ٧
And indeed, he is to that a witness.1

وَإِنَّهُۥ لِحُبِّ ٱلۡخَيۡرِ لَشَدِيدٌ ٨
And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense.
100:9
۞ أَفَلَا يَعۡلَمُ إِذَا بُعۡثِرَ مَا فِي ٱلۡقُبُورِ ٩
But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered
