Az-Zalzalah 99:7

فَمَن يَعۡمَلۡ مِثۡقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَيۡرٗا يَرَهُۥ ٧
So whoever does an atom's weight1 of good will see it,

Commentary on 99:7–8
وَقَوله: ﴿فَمن يعْمل مِثْقَال ذرة خيرا يره وَمن يعْمل مِثْقَال ذرة شرا يره﴾ قَالَ ابْن مَسْعُود: هَذِه الْآيَة أحكم آيَة فِي الْقُرْآن.
وروى أَن عمر بن الْخطاب سَأَلَ قوما: أَي آيَة فِي كتاب الله أحكم؟ فَقَالُوا: ﴿فَمن يعْمل مِثْقَال ذرة خيرا يره وَمن يعْمل مِثْقَال ذرة شرا يره﴾ فَقَالَ: أفيكم ابْن أم عبد؟ فَقَالُوا: نعم، وَأَرَادَ أَن هَذَا جَائِز مِنْهُ.
وروى أَن صعصعة عَم الفرزدق أَتَى النَّبِي فَأسلم، فَسمع هَذِه الْآيَة: ﴿فَمن يعْمل مِثْقَال ذرة خيرا يره وَمن يعْمل مِثْقَال ذرة شرا يره﴾ قَالَ: حسبي لَا أُبَالِي أَلا اسْمَع من الْقُرْآن غَيرهَا.
رَوَاهُ الْحسن مُرْسلا.
وروى الْمُغيرَة بن قيس عَن ابْن الزبير، عَن جَابر قَالَ: " قلت يَا رَسُول الله، إِلَى مَا يَنْتَهِي النَّاس يَوْم الْقِيَامَة؟ قَالَ: إِلَى أَعْمَالهم؛ من عمل مِثْقَال ذرة خيرا يره، وَمن عمل مِثْقَال ذرة شرا يره ".
وَفِي الذّرة قَولَانِ: أَحدهمَا: أَنَّهَا النملة الْحَمْرَاء الصَّغِيرَة - وَهُوَ قَول مَعْرُوف، وَالْآخر: هِيَ مَا يعلق بيد الْإِنْسَان إِذا وضع يَده على الأَرْض، وَقيل: هِيَ الذّرة الَّتِي ترى فِي الكوة منبثا فِي الْهَوَاء فِي ضوء الشَّمْس، وَذكر النقاش عَن بَعضهم: أَن الذّرة جُزْء من ألف وَأَرْبَعَة و (عشْرين) جُزْءا من شعيرَة.
وَعَن بَعضهم: أَنه بسط ذرات كَثِيرَة على وَجه إِحْدَى كفتي الْمِيزَان، فَلم تمل عين الْمِيزَان.
وَعَن ابْن عَبَّاس قَالَ: [يرى الْمُؤمن حَسَنَاته وسيئاته فَيرد عَلَيْهِ حَسَنَاته وَتَأَخر سيئاته] .
وَعَن بَعضهم: أَن ذكر الذّرة على طَرِيق التَّمْثِيل والتشبيه، وَالْمعْنَى أَنه يلقى عمله الصَّغِير وَالْكَبِير، فَمَا أحب الله أَن يغْفر غفر، وَمَا أحب الله أَن يُؤَاخذ بِهِ أَخذ وَالله أعلم.

98:8
جَزَآؤُهُمۡ عِندَ رَبِّهِمۡ جَنَّٰتُ عَدۡنٖ تَجۡرِي مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَآ أَبَدٗاۖ رَّضِيَ ٱللَّهُ عَنۡهُمۡ وَرَضُواْ عَنۡهُۚ ذَٰلِكَ لِمَنۡ خَشِيَ رَبَّهُۥ ٨
Their reward with their Lord will be gardens of perpetual residence beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide forever, Allāh being pleased with them and they with Him. That is for whoever has feared his Lord.
سورة الزلزلة
Az-Zalzalah
The Earthquake · Medinan · 8 ayahs
بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
99:1
إِذَا زُلۡزِلَتِ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ زِلۡزَالَهَا ١
When the earth is shaken with its [final] earthquake
99:2
وَأَخۡرَجَتِ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ أَثۡقَالَهَا ٢
And the earth discharges its burdens1

99:3
وَقَالَ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ مَا لَهَا ٣
And man says,1 "What is [wrong] with it?" -

99:4
يَوۡمَئِذٖ تُحَدِّثُ أَخۡبَارَهَا ٤
That Day, it will report its news
99:5
بِأَنَّ رَبَّكَ أَوۡحَىٰ لَهَا ٥
Because your Lord has inspired [i.e., commanded] it.
99:6
يَوۡمَئِذٖ يَصۡدُرُ ٱلنَّاسُ أَشۡتَاتٗا لِّيُرَوۡاْ أَعۡمَٰلَهُمۡ ٦
That Day, the people will depart1 separated [into categories] to be shown [the result of] their deeds.

99:7
فَمَن يَعۡمَلۡ مِثۡقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَيۡرٗا يَرَهُۥ ٧

وَمَن يَعۡمَلۡ مِثۡقَالَ ذَرَّةٖ شَرّٗا يَرَهُۥ ٨
And whoever does an atom's weight of evil will see it.
سورة العاديات
Al-'Adiyat
The Courser · Meccan · 11 ayahs
بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
100:1
وَٱلۡعَٰدِيَٰتِ ضَبۡحٗا ١
By the racers, panting,1

100:2
فَٱلۡمُورِيَٰتِ قَدۡحٗا ٢
And the producers of sparks [when] striking1

فَٱلۡمُغِيرَٰتِ صُبۡحٗا ٣
And the chargers at dawn,1

100:4
فَأَثَرۡنَ بِهِۦ نَقۡعٗا ٤
Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust,
100:5
فَوَسَطۡنَ بِهِۦ جَمۡعًا ٥
Arriving thereby in the center1 collectively,

100:6
إِنَّ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ لِرَبِّهِۦ لَكَنُودٞ ٦
Indeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungrateful.
100:7
وَإِنَّهُۥ عَلَىٰ ذَٰلِكَ لَشَهِيدٞ ٧
And indeed, he is to that a witness.1

وَإِنَّهُۥ لِحُبِّ ٱلۡخَيۡرِ لَشَدِيدٌ ٨
And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense.
100:9
۞ أَفَلَا يَعۡلَمُ إِذَا بُعۡثِرَ مَا فِي ٱلۡقُبُورِ ٩
But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered
