Al-Kafirun

The Disbelievers · Meccan · 6 ayahs

قُلۡ يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلۡكَٰفِرُونَ ١

Say, "O disbelievers,

Di', o Messaggero: "O voi che non credete in Allāh,

لَآ أَعۡبُدُ مَا تَعۡبُدُونَ ٢

I do not worship what you worship.

io non adorerò, né ora né in futuro, gli idoli che voi adorate,

وَلَآ أَنتُمۡ عَٰبِدُونَ مَآ أَعۡبُدُ ٣

Nor are you worshippers of what I worship.

e voi non adorate Colui che io adoro, ovvero Allāh solo,

وَلَآ أَنَا۠ عَابِدٞ مَّا عَبَدتُّمۡ ٤

Nor will I be a worshipper of what you worship.

e io non adorerò gli idoli che avete adorato,

وَلَآ أَنتُمۡ عَٰبِدُونَ مَآ أَعۡبُدُ ٥

Nor will you be worshippers of what I worship.

e voi non adorate Colui che io adoro, ovvero Allāh solo.

لَكُمۡ دِينُكُمۡ وَلِيَ دِينِ ٦

For you is your religion, and for me is my religion."

A voi la vostra religione, che avete inventato appositamente per voi stessi, e a me la mia religione, che Allāh mi ha rivelato,
