وَٱلَّذِينَ صَبَرُواْ ٱبۡتِغَآءَ وَجۡهِ رَبِّهِمۡ وَأَقَامُواْ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَأَنفَقُواْ مِمَّا رَزَقۡنَٰهُمۡ سِرّٗا وَعَلَانِيَةٗ وَيَدۡرَءُونَ بِٱلۡحَسَنَةِ ٱلسَّيِّئَةَ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ لَهُمۡ عُقۡبَى ٱلدَّارِ ٢٢
And those who are patient, seeking the face [i.e., acceptance] of their Lord, and establish prayer and spend from what We have provided for them secretly and publicly and prevent evil with good - those will have the good consequence of [this] home1 -

قال أبو جعفر: يقول تعالى ذكره: والذين صبروا على الوفاء بعهد الله، وترك نقض الميثاق وصلة الرحم(ابتغاء وجه ربهم) ، ويعني بقوله: (ابتغاء وجه ربهم) ، طلب تعظيم الله, وتنـزيهًا له أن يُخالَفَ في أمره أو يأتي أمرًا كره إتيانه فيعصيه به(وأقاموا الصلاة) ، يقول: وأدُّوا الصلاة المفروضة بحدودها في أوقاتها(وأنفقوا مما رزقناهم سرًّا وعلانية) يقول: وأدَّوا من أموالهم زكاتها المفروضة وأنفقوا منها في السبل التي أمرهم الله بالنفقة فيها(سرًّا) في خفاء " وعلانية " في الظاهر . كما:-
20335- حدثني المثنى قال: حدثنا عبد الله بن صالح قال: حدثني معاوية, عن علي, عن ابن عباس, قوله: (وأقاموا الصلاة) يعني الصلوات الخمس(وأنفقوا مما رزقناهم سرًّا وعلانية) . يقول الزكاة .
20336- حدثني يونس قال: أخبرنا ابن وهب قال: قال ابن زيد " الصبر "، الإقامة. قال، وقال " الصبر " في هاتين, فصبرٌ لله على ما أحبَّ وإن ثقل على الأنفس والأبدان, وصبرٌ عمَّا يكره وإن نازعت إليه الأهواء. فمن كان هكذا فهو من الصابرين . وقرأ: سَلامٌ عَلَيْكُمْ بِمَا صَبَرْتُمْ فَنِعْمَ عُقْبَى الدَّارِ . [سورة الرعد:24]

وقوله: (ويدرءون بالحسنة السيئة) ، يقول: ويدفعون إساءة من أساء إليهم من الناس, بالإحسان إليهم. (10) كما:-
20337- حدثني يونس قال: أخبرنا ابن وهب قال: قال ابن زيد, في قوله: (ويدرءون بالحسنة السيئة) ، قال: يدفعون الشر بالخير, لا يكافئون الشرّ بالشر، ولكن يدفعونه بالخير .

وقوله: (أولئك لهم عقبى الدار) يقول تعالى ذكره: هؤلاء الذين وصفنا صفتهم، هم الذين (لهم عقبى الدار), يقول: هم الذين أعقبهم الله دارَ الجنان، من دارهم التي لو لم يكونوا مؤمنين كانت لهم في النار, فأعقبهم الله من تلك هذه . (11)

وقد قيل: معنى ذلك: أولئك الذين لهم عقِيبَ طاعتهم ربَّهم في الدنيا، دارُ الجنان .

13:19
۞ أَفَمَن يَعۡلَمُ أَنَّمَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيۡكَ مِن رَّبِّكَ ٱلۡحَقُّ كَمَنۡ هُوَ أَعۡمَىٰٓۚ إِنَّمَا يَتَذَكَّرُ أُوْلُواْ ٱلۡأَلۡبَٰبِ ١٩
Then is he who knows that what has been revealed to you from your Lord is the truth like one who is blind? They will only be reminded who are people of understanding -
13:20
ٱلَّذِينَ يُوفُونَ بِعَهۡدِ ٱللَّهِ وَلَا يَنقُضُونَ ٱلۡمِيثَٰقَ ٢٠
Those who fulfill the covenant of Allāh and do not break the contract,
13:21
وَٱلَّذِينَ يَصِلُونَ مَآ أَمَرَ ٱللَّهُ بِهِۦٓ أَن يُوصَلَ وَيَخۡشَوۡنَ رَبَّهُمۡ وَيَخَافُونَ سُوٓءَ ٱلۡحِسَابِ ٢١
And those who join that which Allāh has ordered to be joined1 and fear their Lord and are afraid of the evil of [their] account,

13:22

13:23
جَنَّٰتُ عَدۡنٖ يَدۡخُلُونَهَا وَمَن صَلَحَ مِنۡ ءَابَآئِهِمۡ وَأَزۡوَٰجِهِمۡ وَذُرِّيَّٰتِهِمۡۖ وَٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ يَدۡخُلُونَ عَلَيۡهِم مِّن كُلِّ بَابٖ ٢٣
Gardens of perpetual residence; they will enter them with whoever were righteous among their forefathers, their spouses and their descendants. And the angels will enter upon them from every gate, [saying],
13:24
سَلَٰمٌ عَلَيۡكُم بِمَا صَبَرۡتُمۡۚ فَنِعۡمَ عُقۡبَى ٱلدَّارِ ٢٤
"Peace [i.e., security] be upon you for what you patiently endured." And excellent is the final home.
13:25
وَٱلَّذِينَ يَنقُضُونَ عَهۡدَ ٱللَّهِ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ مِيثَٰقِهِۦ وَيَقۡطَعُونَ مَآ أَمَرَ ٱللَّهُ بِهِۦٓ أَن يُوصَلَ وَيُفۡسِدُونَ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ لَهُمُ ٱللَّعۡنَةُ وَلَهُمۡ سُوٓءُ ٱلدَّارِ ٢٥
But those who break the covenant of Allāh after contracting it and sever that which Allāh has ordered to be joined and spread corruption on earth - for them is the curse, and they will have the worst home.1

13:26
ٱللَّهُ يَبۡسُطُ ٱلرِّزۡقَ لِمَن يَشَآءُ وَيَقۡدِرُۚ وَفَرِحُواْ بِٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡيَا وَمَا ٱلۡحَيَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنۡيَا فِي ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ إِلَّا مَتَٰعٞ ٢٦
Allāh extends provision for whom He wills and restricts [it]. And they rejoice in the worldly life, while the worldly life is not, compared to the Hereafter, except [brief] enjoyment.
13:27
وَيَقُولُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لَوۡلَآ أُنزِلَ عَلَيۡهِ ءَايَةٞ مِّن رَّبِّهِۦۚ قُلۡ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُضِلُّ مَن يَشَآءُ وَيَهۡدِيٓ إِلَيۡهِ مَنۡ أَنَابَ ٢٧
And those who disbelieved say, "Why has a sign not been sent down to him from his Lord?" Say, [O Muḥammad], "Indeed, Allāh leaves astray whom He wills and guides to Himself whoever turns back [to Him] -
13:28
ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَتَطۡمَئِنُّ قُلُوبُهُم بِذِكۡرِ ٱللَّهِۗ أَلَا بِذِكۡرِ ٱللَّهِ تَطۡمَئِنُّ ٱلۡقُلُوبُ ٢٨
Those who have believed and whose hearts are assured by the remembrance of Allāh. Unquestionably, by the remembrance of Allāh hearts are assured."
