يَٰنِسَآءَ ٱلنَّبِيِّ مَن يَأۡتِ مِنكُنَّ بِفَٰحِشَةٖ مُّبَيِّنَةٖ يُضَٰعَفۡ لَهَا ٱلۡعَذَابُ ضِعۡفَيۡنِۚ وَكَانَ ذَٰلِكَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ يَسِيرٗا ٣٠
O wives of the Prophet, whoever of you should commit a clear immorality - for her the punishment would be doubled two fold, and ever is that, for Allāh, easy.

Commentary on 33:30–31
اے نبی کی بیویو! جو کرے گی تم میں سے بے حیائی کھلی، تو دگنا دیا جائے گااسے عذاب دوہرا، اور ہے یہ اوپر اللہ کے آسان (30) اور جو فرماں برداری کرے تم میں سے اللہ کی اور اس کے رسول کی اور عمل کرے نیک تو دیں گے ہم اسے اس کا اجر دوبار، اور تیار کیا ہے ہم نے اس کے لیے رزق عزت کا(31)
[30] جب ازواج مطہراتg نے اللہ، اس کے رسول ﷺ اور آخرت کو چن لیا تو اللہ تعالیٰ نے ان کے کئی گنا اجر کا ذکر فرمایا اور ساتھ ہی یہ بھی ذکر کر دیا کہ ان کے گناہوں کی سزا بھی کئی گنا ہو گی تاکہ وہ گناہوں سے بچیں اور اجر پر اللہ تعالیٰ کا شکر ادا کریں اور اگر ان میں سے کوئی فحش کام کا ارتکاب کرے تو اللہ تعالیٰ نے اس کے لیے دوگنا عذاب مقرر فرمایا ہے۔
[31]﴿وَمَنۡ يَّقۡنُتۡ مِنۡؔكُنَّ ﴾ یعنی تم میں جو کوئی اطاعت شعار ہو گی ﴿لِلّٰهِ وَرَسُوۡلِهٖ وَتَعۡمَلۡ صَالِحًا ﴾ ’’اللہ کی اور اس کے رسول کی اور وہ نیک عمل کرے گی۔‘‘ خواہ وہ عمل تھوڑا ہو یا بہت ﴿نُّؤۡتِهَاۤ اَجۡرَهَا مَرَّتَيۡنِ ﴾ ’’ہم اسے دگنا اجر دیں گے‘‘ یعنی وہ اجر جو ہم دوسروں کو عطا کرتے ہیں، ان کو اُن سے دوگنا اجر عطا کریں گے ﴿وَاَعۡتَدۡنَا لَهَا رِزۡقًا كَرِيۡمًا ﴾ ’’اور ہم نے اس کے لیے عزت کی روزی تیار کر رکھی ہے۔‘‘ اس سے مراد جنت ہے، چنانچہ ازواج مطہرات نے اللہ اور اس کے رسول کی اطاعت کی، نیک عمل کیے تو اس سے ان کا اجر و ثواب بھی معلوم ہوگیا۔

33:23
مِّنَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ رِجَالٞ صَدَقُواْ مَا عَٰهَدُواْ ٱللَّهَ عَلَيۡهِۖ فَمِنۡهُم مَّن قَضَىٰ نَحۡبَهُۥ وَمِنۡهُم مَّن يَنتَظِرُۖ وَمَا بَدَّلُواْ تَبۡدِيلٗا ٢٣
Among the believers are men true to what they promised Allāh. Among them is he who has fulfilled his vow [to the death], and among them is he who awaits [his chance]. And they did not alter [the terms of their commitment] by any alteration -
33:24
لِّيَجۡزِيَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ بِصِدۡقِهِمۡ وَيُعَذِّبَ ٱلۡمُنَٰفِقِينَ إِن شَآءَ أَوۡ يَتُوبَ عَلَيۡهِمۡۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ غَفُورٗا رَّحِيمٗا ٢٤
That Allāh may reward the truthful for their truth and punish the hypocrites if He wills or accept their repentance. Indeed, Allāh is ever Forgiving and Merciful.
33:25
وَرَدَّ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ بِغَيۡظِهِمۡ لَمۡ يَنَالُواْ خَيۡرٗاۚ وَكَفَى ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ ٱلۡقِتَالَۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ قَوِيًّا عَزِيزٗا ٢٥
And Allāh repelled those who disbelieved, in their rage, not having obtained any good. And sufficient was Allāh for the believers in battle, and ever is Allāh Powerful and Exalted in Might.
33:26
وَأَنزَلَ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَٰهَرُوهُم مِّنۡ أَهۡلِ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ مِن صَيَاصِيهِمۡ وَقَذَفَ فِي قُلُوبِهِمُ ٱلرُّعۡبَ فَرِيقٗا تَقۡتُلُونَ وَتَأۡسِرُونَ فَرِيقٗا ٢٦
And He brought down those who supported them among the People of the Scripture1 from their fortresses and cast terror into their hearts [so that] a party [i.e., their men] you killed, and you took captive a party [i.e., the women and children].

33:27
وَأَوۡرَثَكُمۡ أَرۡضَهُمۡ وَدِيَٰرَهُمۡ وَأَمۡوَٰلَهُمۡ وَأَرۡضٗا لَّمۡ تَطَـُٔوهَاۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ قَدِيرٗا ٢٧
And He caused you to inherit their land and their homes and their properties and a land which you have not trodden.1 And ever is Allāh, over all things, competent.

33:28
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّبِيُّ قُل لِّأَزۡوَٰجِكَ إِن كُنتُنَّ تُرِدۡنَ ٱلۡحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنۡيَا وَزِينَتَهَا فَتَعَالَيۡنَ أُمَتِّعۡكُنَّ وَأُسَرِّحۡكُنَّ سَرَاحٗا جَمِيلٗا ٢٨
O Prophet, say to your wives, "If you should desire the worldly life and its adornment, then come, I will provide for you and give you a gracious release.
33:29
وَإِن كُنتُنَّ تُرِدۡنَ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ وَٱلدَّارَ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةَ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ أَعَدَّ لِلۡمُحۡسِنَٰتِ مِنكُنَّ أَجۡرًا عَظِيمٗا ٢٩
But if you should desire Allāh and His Messenger and the home of the Hereafter - then indeed, Allāh has prepared for the doers of good among you a great reward."
33:30
