Fatir 35:32

ثُمَّ أَوۡرَثۡنَا ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱصۡطَفَيۡنَا مِنۡ عِبَادِنَاۖ فَمِنۡهُمۡ ظَالِمٞ لِّنَفۡسِهِۦ وَمِنۡهُم مُّقۡتَصِدٞ وَمِنۡهُمۡ سَابِقُۢ بِٱلۡخَيۡرَٰتِ بِإِذۡنِ ٱللَّهِۚ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلۡفَضۡلُ ٱلۡكَبِيرُ ٣٢
Then We caused to inherit the Book those We have chosen of Our servants;1 and among them is he who wrongs himself [i.e., sins], and among them is he who is moderate, and among them is he who is foremost in good deeds by permission of Allāh. That [inheritance] is what is the great bounty.

Commentary on 35:32
﴿ثم أورثنا الكتاب الذين اصطفينا من عبادنا﴾: ثم: حرف عطف للترتيب مع التراخي، وأورثنا: فعل ماض و﴿نا﴾ فاعل، والكتاب: مفعول به ثان لـ﴿أورثنا﴾، والذين: مفعول به أول لـ﴿أورثنا﴾، واصطفينا: فعل ماض و﴿نا﴾ فاعل، وجملة ﴿اصطفينا﴾ صلة الذين لا محل لها من الإعراب. والعائد محذوف هو مفعول اصطفينا، أي: الذين اصطفيناهم، ومن عبادنا: جار ومجرور متعلقان بمحذوف حال مفعول اصطفينا المقدر.
﴿فمنهم ظالم لنفسه ومنهم مقتصد ومنهم سابق بالخيرات بإذن الله﴾: الفاء: تفريعية، ومنهم: جار ومجرور متعلقان بمحذوف خبر مقدم لـ﴿ظالم﴾، وظالم: مبتدأ مؤخر، ولنفسه: جار ومجرور متعلقان بـ﴿ظالم﴾، ومنهم: جار ومجرور متعلقان بمحذوف خبر مقدم لـ﴿مقتصد﴾، ومقتصد: مبتدأ مؤخر، وجملة ﴿منهم مقتصد﴾ معطوفة على جملة ﴿منهم ظالم لنفسه﴾، ومنهم: جار ومجرور متعلقان بمحذوف خبر مقدم لـ﴿سابق﴾، وسابق: مبتدأ مؤخر، وبالخيرات: جار ومجرور متعلقان بـ﴿سابق﴾، وجملة ﴿منهم سابق﴾ معطوفة على جملة ﴿منهم ظالم لنفسه﴾ أيضًا، وبإذن الله: الجار والمجرور متعلقان بمحذوف حال من ﴿سابق بالخيرات﴾ أو متعلقان بـ﴿سابق﴾، واسم الجلالة مضاف إليه.
﴿ذلك هو الفضل الكبير﴾: ذلك: مبتدأ، وهو: مبتدأ ثان، والفضل: خبر ﴿هو﴾، وجملة ﴿هو الفضل﴾ خبر ذلك، أو ﴿هو﴾ ضمير فصل و﴿الفضل﴾ خبر ذلك، والكبير: صفة.

35:31
وَٱلَّذِيٓ أَوۡحَيۡنَآ إِلَيۡكَ مِنَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ هُوَ ٱلۡحَقُّ مُصَدِّقٗا لِّمَا بَيۡنَ يَدَيۡهِۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ بِعِبَادِهِۦ لَخَبِيرُۢ بَصِيرٞ ٣١
And that which We have revealed to you, [O Muḥammad], of the Book is the truth, confirming what was before it. Indeed Allāh, of His servants, is Aware and Seeing.
35:32

35:33
جَنَّٰتُ عَدۡنٖ يَدۡخُلُونَهَا يُحَلَّوۡنَ فِيهَا مِنۡ أَسَاوِرَ مِن ذَهَبٖ وَلُؤۡلُؤٗاۖ وَلِبَاسُهُمۡ فِيهَا حَرِيرٞ ٣٣
[For them are] gardens of perpetual residence which they will enter. They will be adorned therein with bracelets of gold and pearls, and their garments therein will be silk.
35:34
وَقَالُواْ ٱلۡحَمۡدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِيٓ أَذۡهَبَ عَنَّا ٱلۡحَزَنَۖ إِنَّ رَبَّنَا لَغَفُورٞ شَكُورٌ ٣٤
And they will say, "Praise to Allāh, who has removed from us [all] sorrow. Indeed, our Lord is Forgiving and Appreciative -
35:35
ٱلَّذِيٓ أَحَلَّنَا دَارَ ٱلۡمُقَامَةِ مِن فَضۡلِهِۦ لَا يَمَسُّنَا فِيهَا نَصَبٞ وَلَا يَمَسُّنَا فِيهَا لُغُوبٞ ٣٥
He who has settled us in the home of duration [i.e., Paradise] out of His bounty. There touches us not in it any fatigue, and there touches us not in it weariness [of mind]."
35:36
وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لَهُمۡ نَارُ جَهَنَّمَ لَا يُقۡضَىٰ عَلَيۡهِمۡ فَيَمُوتُواْ وَلَا يُخَفَّفُ عَنۡهُم مِّنۡ عَذَابِهَاۚ كَذَٰلِكَ نَجۡزِي كُلَّ كَفُورٖ ٣٦
And for those who disbelieve will be the fire of Hell. [Death] is not decreed for them1 so they may die, nor will its torment be lightened for them. Thus do We recompense every ungrateful one.

35:37
وَهُمۡ يَصۡطَرِخُونَ فِيهَا رَبَّنَآ أَخۡرِجۡنَا نَعۡمَلۡ صَٰلِحًا غَيۡرَ ٱلَّذِي كُنَّا نَعۡمَلُۚ أَوَلَمۡ نُعَمِّرۡكُم مَّا يَتَذَكَّرُ فِيهِ مَن تَذَكَّرَ وَجَآءَكُمُ ٱلنَّذِيرُۖ فَذُوقُواْ فَمَا لِلظَّٰلِمِينَ مِن نَّصِيرٍ ٣٧
And they will cry out therein, "Our Lord, remove us;1 we will do righteousness - other than what we were doing!" But did We not grant you life enough for whoever would remember therein to remember, and the warner had come to you? So taste [the punishment], for there is not for the wrongdoers any helper.

35:38
إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَٰلِمُ غَيۡبِ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ إِنَّهُۥ عَلِيمُۢ بِذَاتِ ٱلصُّدُورِ ٣٨
Indeed, Allāh is Knower of the unseen [aspects] of the heavens and earth. Indeed, He is Knowing of that within the breasts.
