Al-A'raf 7:101

تِلۡكَ ٱلۡقُرَىٰ نَقُصُّ عَلَيۡكَ مِنۡ أَنۢبَآئِهَاۚ وَلَقَدۡ جَآءَتۡهُمۡ رُسُلُهُم بِٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتِ فَمَا كَانُواْ لِيُؤۡمِنُواْ بِمَا كَذَّبُواْ مِن قَبۡلُۚ كَذَٰلِكَ يَطۡبَعُ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ ١٠١
Those cities - We relate to you, [O Muḥammad], some of their news. And certainly did their messengers come to them with clear proofs, but they were not to believe in that which they had denied before.1 Thus does Allāh seal over the hearts of the disbelievers.

Commentary on 7:101
Këto janë ato vendbanime, për të cilat Ne të kemi treguar ty disa ngjarje. -I Madhëruari i rrëfen këto ngjarje që njerëzit të nxjerrin mësime, por prej tyre përfitojnë veçse të diturit e të urtët. Qëllimi tjetër është që zullumqarët të frenohen nga të këqijat e tyre, ndërsa të devotshmit të nxjerrin mësime.Atyre u erdhën të dërguarit me argumente të qarta,... -Atyre që mohuan profetët dhe Shpalljet e Zotit u erdhën argumente të qarta dhe ftesë për lumturinë e dynjasë dhe ahiretit. Allahu i Madhëruar i mbështeti profetët me mrekulli të shumta dhe të mëdha, që njerëzit të bindeshin se ata ishin të dërguar nga Zoti i qiejve dhe i tokës. Nëpërmjet Shpalljeve të qarta, profetët u shpjeguan popujve të vërtetën. Megjithatë, kjo nuk i ndihmoi dhe nuk i shpëtoi mohuesit nga ndëshkimi i Zotit. Argumentet dhe mrekullitë vetëm e shtonin largimin dhe kundërshtimin e tyre....por ata nuk donin t’i besonin asaj që më parë e kishin mohuar. - Shkak për këtë ndëshkim ishte pikërisht refuzimi i të vërtetës kur iu komunikua atyre herën e parë. Allahu i Madhëruar nuk e udhëzon një popull që nxiton ta refuzojë të vërtetën. Në suren En’am, ajeti 110, Allahu i Lartësuar thotë: “Ne do t'ua largojmë zemrat dhe shikimet atyre, ashtu sikurse nuk e besuan atë (Shpalljen e Zotit)për herë të parë dhe do t'i lëmë të bredhin të hutuar në shfrenimin e tyre.”. Ndërsa në këtë ajet i Madhëruari thotë:Kështu i vulos Allahu zemrat e atyre që nuk besojnë. - Ky është ndëshkimi i drejtë i Zotit për mohuesit e këshillave të Tij. Allahu i Madhëruar nuk u bën aspak padrejtësi, por janë ata që i bëjnë padrejtësi vetes së tyre.

7:96
وَلَوۡ أَنَّ أَهۡلَ ٱلۡقُرَىٰٓ ءَامَنُواْ وَٱتَّقَوۡاْ لَفَتَحۡنَا عَلَيۡهِم بَرَكَٰتٖ مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَلَٰكِن كَذَّبُواْ فَأَخَذۡنَٰهُم بِمَا كَانُواْ يَكۡسِبُونَ ٩٦
And if only the people of the cities had believed and feared Allāh, We would have opened [i.e., bestowed] upon them blessings from the heaven and the earth; but they denied [the messengers], so We seized them for what they were earning.1

7:97
أَفَأَمِنَ أَهۡلُ ٱلۡقُرَىٰٓ أَن يَأۡتِيَهُم بَأۡسُنَا بَيَٰتٗا وَهُمۡ نَآئِمُونَ ٩٧
Then, did the people of the cities feel secure from Our punishment coming to them at night while they were asleep?
7:98
أَوَأَمِنَ أَهۡلُ ٱلۡقُرَىٰٓ أَن يَأۡتِيَهُم بَأۡسُنَا ضُحٗى وَهُمۡ يَلۡعَبُونَ ٩٨
Or did the people of the cities feel secure from Our punishment coming to them in the morning while they were at play?1

7:99
أَفَأَمِنُواْ مَكۡرَ ٱللَّهِۚ فَلَا يَأۡمَنُ مَكۡرَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَّا ٱلۡقَوۡمُ ٱلۡخَٰسِرُونَ ٩٩
Then, did they feel secure from the plan of Allāh? But no one feels secure from the plan of Allāh except the losing people.
7:100
أَوَلَمۡ يَهۡدِ لِلَّذِينَ يَرِثُونَ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ أَهۡلِهَآ أَن لَّوۡ نَشَآءُ أَصَبۡنَٰهُم بِذُنُوبِهِمۡۚ وَنَطۡبَعُ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمۡ فَهُمۡ لَا يَسۡمَعُونَ ١٠٠
Has it not become clear to those who inherited the earth after its [previous] people that if We willed, We could afflict them for their sins? But We seal over their hearts so they do not hear.1

7:101

7:102
وَمَا وَجَدۡنَا لِأَكۡثَرِهِم مِّنۡ عَهۡدٖۖ وَإِن وَجَدۡنَآ أَكۡثَرَهُمۡ لَفَٰسِقِينَ ١٠٢
And We did not find for most of them any covenant;1 but indeed, We found most of them defiantly disobedient.

7:103
ثُمَّ بَعَثۡنَا مِنۢ بَعۡدِهِم مُّوسَىٰ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَآ إِلَىٰ فِرۡعَوۡنَ وَمَلَإِيْهِۦ فَظَلَمُواْ بِهَاۖ فَٱنظُرۡ كَيۡفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلۡمُفۡسِدِينَ ١٠٣
Then We sent after them Moses with Our signs to Pharaoh and his establishment, but they were unjust toward them.1 So see how was the end of the corrupters.

7:104
وَقَالَ مُوسَىٰ يَٰفِرۡعَوۡنُ إِنِّي رَسُولٞ مِّن رَّبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ ١٠٤
And Moses said, "O Pharaoh, I am a messenger from the Lord of the worlds
