إِنَّآ أَنزَلۡنَٰهُ فِي لَيۡلَةِ ٱلۡقَدۡرِ ١
Indeed, We sent it [i.e., the Qur’ān] down during the Night of Decree.
In verità, abbiamo rivelato il Corano, integralmente, al Cielo inferiore di questo mondo, così come abbiamo iniziato a rivelarlo al Profeta pace e benedizioni di Allāh su di lui nella notte del Destino, nel mese di Ramadhān.

وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا لَيۡلَةُ ٱلۡقَدۡرِ ٢
And what can make you know what is the Night of Decree?
Sei consapevole, o Profeta, del bene e della benedizione contenuti in questa notte?!
97:3Page 598
لَيۡلَةُ ٱلۡقَدۡرِ خَيۡرٞ مِّنۡ أَلۡفِ شَهۡرٖ ٣
The Night of Decree is better than a thousand months.
Questa notte è la notte del bene immenso, migliore di mille mesi per colui che veglia, durante questa notte, per fede e nella speranza che venga accettata.

تَنَزَّلُ ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ وَٱلرُّوحُ فِيهَا بِإِذۡنِ رَبِّهِم مِّن كُلِّ أَمۡرٖ ٤
The angels and the Spirit [i.e., Gabriel] descend therein by permission of their Lord for every matter.1
Gli angeli scendono e così scende Jibrīl pace a lui, in questa notte, per ordine del loro Dio, gloria Sua, portando ogni ordine che Allāh ha decretato in quell'anno, sia riguardo il sostentamento, la morte, la nascita o qualche altro decreto di Allāh.
Questa notte benedetta è interamente benefica, dall'inizio alla fine, ovvero fino all'alba.
