وَمِمَّنۡ خَلَقۡنَآ أُمَّةٞ يَهۡدُونَ بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَبِهِۦ يَعۡدِلُونَ ١٨١
And among those We created is a community1 which guides by truth and thereby establishes justice.

Commentary on 7:181
اوران میں سے جنھیں پیدا کیا ہم نے ایک جماعت جو رہنمائی کرتی ہے ساتھ حق کےاور ساتھ اسی کے وہ عدل کرتی ہے(181)
[181]﴿ وَمِمَّنۡ خَلَقۡنَاۤ اُمَّةٌ يَّهۡدُوۡنَ بِالۡحَقِّ ﴾ ’’اور ہماری مخلوقات میں سے ایک وہ لوگ ہیں جو حق کا راستہ بتاتے ہیں ۔‘‘ یعنی ان تمام لوگوں میں جن کو ہم نے پیدا کیا ہے ایک ایسا گروہ بھی ہے جو فضیلت کا مالک ہے، جو خود کامل ہے اور دوسروں کی حق کی طرف راہ نمائی کرتا ہے، یہ لوگ حق کا علم رکھتے ہیں ، اس پر عمل کرتے ہیں ، حق کی تعلیم دیتے، اس کی طرف بلاتے اور اس پر عمل کرنے کی دعوت دیتے ہیں ۔ ﴿ وَبِهٖ يَعۡدِلُوۡنَ ﴾ ’’اور اسی کے موافق انصاف کرتے ہیں ‘‘ جب وہ لوگوں کے مال، خون، حقوق اور ان کے مقالات وغیرہ کے بارے میں فیصلے کرتے ہیں تو حق کی بنیاد پر انصاف کرتے ہیں ۔ یہ لوگ ائمہ ہدی اور تاریکیوں میں روشن قندیل ہیں ۔ یہی لوگ ہیں جن کو اللہ تعالیٰ نے ایمان، عمل صالح، حق کی وصیت اور صبر کی وصیت جیسی نعمتوں سے نوازا ہے۔ وہ صدیق ہیں جن کا مرتبہ رسالت کے بعد ہے اور خود ان کے مراتب میں ان کے احوال اور قدر و منزلت کے مطابق تفاوت ہے۔پس پاک ہے وہ ذات جو اپنی رحمت کے لیے جس کو چاہتی ہے، مختص کرتی ہے۔ اللہ تعالیٰ بہت بڑے فضل کا مالک ہے۔ وہ لوگ جنھوں نے اللہ تعالیٰ کی ان آیات کی تکذیب کی، جو محمد رسول اللہﷺ پر نازل ہونے والی کتاب اور ہدایت کی صحت پر دلالت کرتی ہیں ، پس انھوں نے ان کو ٹھکرا دیا اور ان کو قبول نہ کیا ﴿سَنَسۡتَدۡرِجُهُمۡ مِّنۡ حَيۡثُ لَا يَعۡلَمُوۡنَ ﴾ ’’ہم ان کو آہستہ آہستہ ایسی جگہ سے پکڑیں گے جہاں سے ان کو خبر بھی نہ ہوگی‘‘ یعنی اس طرح کہ اللہ تعالیٰ ان کو وافر رزق بہم پہنچاتا ہے۔

7:179
وَلَقَدۡ ذَرَأۡنَا لِجَهَنَّمَ كَثِيرٗا مِّنَ ٱلۡجِنِّ وَٱلۡإِنسِۖ لَهُمۡ قُلُوبٞ لَّا يَفۡقَهُونَ بِهَا وَلَهُمۡ أَعۡيُنٞ لَّا يُبۡصِرُونَ بِهَا وَلَهُمۡ ءَاذَانٞ لَّا يَسۡمَعُونَ بِهَآۚ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ كَٱلۡأَنۡعَٰمِ بَلۡ هُمۡ أَضَلُّۚ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡغَٰفِلُونَ ١٧٩
And We have certainly created for Hell many of the jinn and mankind. They have hearts with which they do not understand, they have eyes with which they do not see, and they have ears with which they do not hear. Those are like livestock; rather, they are more astray.1 It is they who are the heedless.

7:180
وَلِلَّهِ ٱلۡأَسۡمَآءُ ٱلۡحُسۡنَىٰ فَٱدۡعُوهُ بِهَاۖ وَذَرُواْ ٱلَّذِينَ يُلۡحِدُونَ فِيٓ أَسۡمَٰٓئِهِۦۚ سَيُجۡزَوۡنَ مَا كَانُواْ يَعۡمَلُونَ ١٨٠
And to Allāh belong the best names, so invoke Him by them. And leave [the company of] those who practice deviation concerning His names.1 They will be recompensed for what they have been doing.

7:181

7:182
وَٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا سَنَسۡتَدۡرِجُهُم مِّنۡ حَيۡثُ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ ١٨٢
But those who deny Our signs - We will progressively lead them [to destruction]1 from where they do not know.

- Allāh will test them with one favor after another in spite of their disobedience, which only increases them in arrogance and sin. ↩
7:183
وَأُمۡلِي لَهُمۡۚ إِنَّ كَيۡدِي مَتِينٌ ١٨٣
And I will give them time. Indeed, My plan is firm.
7:184
أَوَلَمۡ يَتَفَكَّرُواْۗ مَا بِصَاحِبِهِم مِّن جِنَّةٍۚ إِنۡ هُوَ إِلَّا نَذِيرٞ مُّبِينٌ ١٨٤
Then do they not give thought? There is in their companion [i.e., Muḥammad (ﷺ)] no madness. He is not but a clear warner.
7:185
أَوَلَمۡ يَنظُرُواْ فِي مَلَكُوتِ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا خَلَقَ ٱللَّهُ مِن شَيۡءٖ وَأَنۡ عَسَىٰٓ أَن يَكُونَ قَدِ ٱقۡتَرَبَ أَجَلُهُمۡۖ فَبِأَيِّ حَدِيثِۭ بَعۡدَهُۥ يُؤۡمِنُونَ ١٨٥
Do they not look into the realm of the heavens and the earth and everything that Allāh has created and [think] that perhaps their appointed time has come near? So in what statement [i.e., message] hereafter will they believe?
7:186
مَن يُضۡلِلِ ٱللَّهُ فَلَا هَادِيَ لَهُۥۚ وَيَذَرُهُمۡ فِي طُغۡيَٰنِهِمۡ يَعۡمَهُونَ ١٨٦
Whoever Allāh sends astray - there is no guide for him. And He leaves them in their transgression, wandering blindly.
7:187
يَسۡـَٔلُونَكَ عَنِ ٱلسَّاعَةِ أَيَّانَ مُرۡسَىٰهَاۖ قُلۡ إِنَّمَا عِلۡمُهَا عِندَ رَبِّيۖ لَا يُجَلِّيهَا لِوَقۡتِهَآ إِلَّا هُوَۚ ثَقُلَتۡ فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ لَا تَأۡتِيكُمۡ إِلَّا بَغۡتَةٗۗ يَسۡـَٔلُونَكَ كَأَنَّكَ حَفِيٌّ عَنۡهَاۖ قُلۡ إِنَّمَا عِلۡمُهَا عِندَ ٱللَّهِ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكۡثَرَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ ١٨٧
They ask you, [O Muḥammad], about the Hour: when is its arrival?1 Say, "Its knowledge is only with my Lord. None will reveal its time except Him. It lays heavily2 upon the heavens and the earth. It will not come upon you except unexpectedly." They ask you as if you are familiar with it. Say, "Its knowledge is only with Allāh, but most of the people do not know."
