The Letter "Saad" · Meccan · 88 ayahs
Saad: yewtere yawtiino, fii sugu ɗee karfe taƴondirɗe, ka fuɗɗorde simoore Baqarah. E ngol cortewol ɗoo, Allah no woodanira Alqur'aana, yowondirnde e waajitorɗi yimɓe, kon ko nafata ɓe aduna e laakara. Hara wanaa ko sirkooɓe ɓen aaƴotoo, wonnde Allah no mai denndadiijo.

بَلِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ فِي عِزَّةٖ وَشِقَاقٖ ٢
But those who disbelieve are in pride and dissension.
Ko woni kon, heeferɓe ɓen wonii e townitanagol wootinɗinnde Allah, e luutondirgol e Muhammadu (yo o his), e anygol mo.

كَمۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَا مِن قَبۡلِهِم مِّن قَرۡنٖ فَنَادَواْ وَّلَاتَ حِينَ مَنَاصٖ ٣
How many a generation have We destroyed before them, and they [then] called out; but it was not a time for escape.
Ɗuuɗii e mofte fennuɓe Nulaaɓe mun, ado maɓɓe, ɓe Men halki, ɓen noddi faaboo uma, nde lepte tellato, kono oon waqtu wonaana waqtu faabeede e lepte sakko faabo nafa ɓe.

وَعَجِبُوٓاْ أَن جَآءَهُم مُّنذِرٞ مِّنۡهُمۡۖ وَقَالَ ٱلۡكَٰفِرُونَ هَٰذَا سَٰحِرٞ كَذَّابٌ ٤
And they wonder that there has come to them a warner [i.e., Prophet Muḥammad (ﷺ)] from among themselves. And the disbelievers say, "This is a magician and a liar.
Ɓe ŋalɗi, tuma ɓe yi'unoo Nulaaɗo arɗo ɓe on, ko jertina ɓe e lepte Allah ɗen, ko e maɓɓe o jeyaa. Yedduɓe ɓen nde yi'unoo hujjaaji ɓannginɗi goonga Muhammadu kan, ɓe wi'i: Oo, ko biloowo yimɓe nii, heewuɗo fenaande e ko wi'ata kon, wonnde ko o Nulaaɗo, mo Allah wahayini e mun.

أَجَعَلَ ٱلۡأٓلِهَةَ إِلَٰهٗا وَٰحِدًاۖ إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَشَيۡءٌ عُجَابٞ ٥
Has he made the gods [only] one God? Indeed, this is a curious thing."
Kere o waɗay reweteeɗi limtilimtiɗi e mun ɗin fow, reweteeɗo gooto tun? Pellet, ko huunde haɗtirnde haawnagol non.
38:6Page 453
وَٱنطَلَقَ ٱلۡمَلَأُ مِنۡهُمۡ أَنِ ٱمۡشُواْ وَٱصۡبِرُواْ عَلَىٰٓ ءَالِهَتِكُمۡۖ إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَشَيۡءٞ يُرَادُ ٦
And the eminent among them went forth, [saying], "Continue, and be patient over [the defense of] your gods. Indeed, this is a thing intended.1
Mbatu maɓɓe ngun hucciti, ɓe wi'ani yimɓe maɓɓe ɓen: Yehee, jokkon haaju mun, wata on naatu e diina Muhammadu, tabitee e reweteeɗi mon ɗin. Anndon ko Muhammadu noddi on e mun kon, wiide yo on rewu gooto tun, ko ko o eɓɓani, fii no o waawira'en, waɗten jokkude mo.
38:7Page 453
مَا سَمِعۡنَا بِهَٰذَا فِي ٱلۡمِلَّةِ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ إِنۡ هَٰذَآ إِلَّا ٱخۡتِلَٰقٌ ٧
We have not heard of this in the latest religion.1 This is not but a fabrication.
Men nanaali fii ko Muhammadu noddata men e mun kon, woni bajjinɗingol Allah ngol, e diina baabiraaɓe amen ɓen, wanaa e diina Iisaa kan. Ko men naniri mo kon wonaali, si wanaa fenaande fefindaande.

أَءُنزِلَ عَلَيۡهِ ٱلذِّكۡرُ مِنۢ بَيۡنِنَاۚ بَلۡ هُمۡ فِي شَكّٖ مِّن ذِكۡرِيۚ بَل لَّمَّا يَذُوقُواْ عَذَابِ ٨
Has the message been revealed to him out of [all of] us?" Rather, they are in doubt about My message. Rather, they have not yet tasted My punishment.
Kere ko e makko Alqur'aana jippintee hakkunde amen, o heertora ɗum e hoore amen, menen koohooɓe ɓen? Si ko woni, ɓee sirkooɓe wonii e sikkitagol wayahu mo mi jippini e maaɗa on. Fotde ɓe meeɗaali lepte Allah ɗen, kono hiɓe ɗayintora nennitaneede ɓe. Si ɓe meeɗuno lepte ɗen, ɓe haɓɓitotanooko e yeddugol sirkana Allah, sikkitoo e ko O wahayini kon e maaɗa.

أَمۡ عِندَهُمۡ خَزَآئِنُ رَحۡمَةِ رَبِّكَ ٱلۡعَزِيزِ ٱلۡوَهَّابِ ٩
Or do they have the depositories of the mercy of your Lord, the Exalted in Might, the Bestower?1
Kaa ɓee sirkooɓe fennooɓe jogiti ngaluuji ɓure Joomi maa, Fooluɗo Mo fooletaake On, Okkoowo mo O muuyani yeɗude. Wano ngalu ngu O yeɗirta Annabaaku, on mo O muuyani. Tawde wanaa kamɓe ɗum wonani, sakko ɓe yeɗa mo ɓe yiɗani, maa ɓe ɗala goɗɗo goo.

أَمۡ لَهُم مُّلۡكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَاۖ فَلۡيَرۡتَقُواْ فِي ٱلۡأَسۡبَٰبِ ١٠
Or is theirs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and what is between them? Then let them ascend through [any] ways of access.1
Kaa ko kamɓe woodani laamagol kammuuli ɗin e leydi ndin e kon ko woni hakkunde majji? Sakko ɓe heɓa feere yeɗugol e ɗawugol! Si ko non ɓe aaƴori, haray yo ɓe ƴeenŋir kala sabu no ɓe hewtiryta ka kammuuli, fii no ɓe ñaawira ko ɓe yiɗi, woni yeɗugol maa ɗalugol. Kono ɓe hippataa ɗum!

جُندٞ مَّا هُنَالِكَ مَهۡزُومٞ مِّنَ ٱلۡأَحۡزَابِ ١١
[They are but] soldiers [who will be] defeated there among the companies [of disbelievers].
Ɓee fennooɓe Muhammadu jom kisiyee on, ko konu hoyngu, fooliroyteengu wano ɗiya feddeeji fennunooɗi Nulaaɓe mun, ado maɓɓe.

كَذَّبَتۡ قَبۡلَهُمۡ قَوۡمُ نُوحٖ وَعَادٞ وَفِرۡعَوۡنُ ذُو ٱلۡأَوۡتَادِ ١٢
The people of Noah denied before them, and [the tribe of] ʿAad and Pharaoh, the owner of stakes,1
Wanaa ɓee woni ko adii fennude. Woɗɓe adinoke ɓe e ɗum, woni Yimɓe Nuuhu ɓen, e Aadi'en e Fir'awna lettiraynooɗo yimɓe ɓen, pempe.

وَثَمُودُ وَقَوۡمُ لُوطٖ وَأَصۡحَٰبُ لۡـَٔيۡكَةِۚ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ ٱلۡأَحۡزَابُ ١٣
And [the tribe of] Thamūd and the people of Lot and the companions of the thicket [i.e., people of Madyan]. Those are the companies.1
Samuuda'en kadi, e yimɓe Luutu ɓen, e yimɓe Shu'aybu ɓen fow kadi fenni Nulaaɓe mun ɓen. Ko ɓen woni feddeeji hawrunooɗi e fennugol yedda ko Nulaaɓe lun addannooɓe.
38:14Page 453
إِن كُلٌّ إِلَّا كَذَّبَ ٱلرُّسُلَ فَحَقَّ عِقَابِ ١٤
Each of them denied the messengers, so My penalty was justified.
Alaa e ɗin feddeeji, mo fennaali Nulaaɓe ɓen. Lepte Allah ɗen jojji e maɓɓe, fii kala ɗe tonngino haa e dumunna.
38:15Page 453
وَمَا يَنظُرُ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ إِلَّا صَيۡحَةٗ وَٰحِدَةٗ مَّا لَهَا مِن فَوَاقٖ ١٥
And these [disbelievers] await not but one blast [of the Horn]; for it there will be no delay.1
Ɓee fennooɓe Muhammadu (yo o his) habbaaki, si wanaa wuttaandu ɗiɗaɓuru ndun ka alaandu, ndu alaa ruttorde. Lepte ɗen yana e maɓɓe, si ɓe ɓe tuubaali ko adii.
38:16Page 453
وَقَالُواْ رَبَّنَا عَجِّل لَّنَا قِطَّنَا قَبۡلَ يَوۡمِ ٱلۡحِسَابِ ١٦
And they say, "Our Lord, hasten for us our share [of the punishment] before the Day of Account."
Ɓe woni e jalkitugol wi'a: Joomi amen, yaccinan men geɓal lepte amen ɗen aduna, ado Ñalaande Darngal.
38:17Page 454
ٱصۡبِرۡ عَلَىٰ مَا يَقُولُونَ وَٱذۡكُرۡ عَبۡدَنَا دَاوُۥدَ ذَا ٱلۡأَيۡدِۖ إِنَّهُۥٓ أَوَّابٌ ١٧
Be patient over what they say and remember Our servant, David, the possessor of strength; indeed, he was one who repeatedly turned back [to Allāh].
An Nulaaɗo, muñño e ko fennooɓe ɓen wowlata maa kon; annditaa jeyaaɗo Amen on, Daawuuda, jom cemmbe dartorɗe ayɓe mun, muññoo e ɗoftagol Allah. Kanko ko o ɗuuɗunooɗo ruttoragol tuubannde Allah, e gollugol ko welata Mo.
38:18Page 454
إِنَّا سَخَّرۡنَا ٱلۡجِبَالَ مَعَهُۥ يُسَبِّحۡنَ بِٱلۡعَشِيِّ وَٱلۡإِشۡرَاقِ ١٨
Indeed, We subjected the mountains [to praise] with him, exalting [Allāh] in the [late] afternoon and [after] sunrise.
Men elti pelle ɗen, ko subbunhinoda e Daawuuda, ka kiikiiɗe e ka weetugol.
38:19Page 454
وَٱلطَّيۡرَ مَحۡشُورَةٗۖ كُلّٞ لَّهُۥٓ أَوَّابٞ ١٩
And the birds were assembled, all with him repeating [praises].
Men elti kadi colli ɗin, ka ɗi mooɓindiraa ka weeyo, tawi ɗi fow majji, hiɗo ɗoftanii subbunhinanagol Allah.
38:20Page 454
وَشَدَدۡنَا مُلۡكَهُۥ وَءَاتَيۡنَٰهُ ٱلۡحِكۡمَةَ وَفَصۡلَ ٱلۡخِطَابِ ٢٠
And We strengthened his kingdom and gave him wisdom and discernment in speech.
Men semmbiniri fii laamu Makko ngun, mirin mo Men okki mo on, wonndude e waawugol foola ayɓe makko ɓen. Men yeɗi mo Annabaaku, e hawrugol e sawaaba. Men yeɗi Mo ɗemngal laaɓungal.
38:21Page 454
۞ وَهَلۡ أَتَىٰكَ نَبَؤُاْ ٱلۡخَصۡمِ إِذۡ تَسَوَّرُواْ ٱلۡمِحۡرَابَ ٢١
And has there come to you the news of the adversaries, when they climbed over the wall of [his] prayer chamber -
An Nulaaɗo, hara kabaaru wenjunooɓe ɓen ɗiɗo arii maa, tuma nde ɓe ƴawunoo ka ganngunal Annabi Daawuuda nokku dewirdo mum!
38:22Page 454
إِذۡ دَخَلُواْ عَلَىٰ دَاوُۥدَ فَفَزِعَ مِنۡهُمۡۖ قَالُواْ لَا تَخَفۡۖ خَصۡمَانِ بَغَىٰ بَعۡضُنَا عَلَىٰ بَعۡضٖ فَٱحۡكُم بَيۡنَنَا بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَلَا تُشۡطِطۡ وَٱهۡدِنَآ إِلَىٰ سَوَآءِ ٱلصِّرَٰطِ ٢٢
When they entered upon David and he was alarmed by them? They said, "Fear not. [We are] two adversaries, one of whom has wronged the other, so judge between us with truth and do not exceed [it] and guide us to the sound path.
Tuma nde ɓe naatirnoo e juhal, ka Daawuuda, o ɗeƴii ɓe. Ɓe anndi o ɗenƴike, ɓe wi'ani mo: wata a hulu ! Ko men yeddondirɓe ɗiɗo; goɗɗo e amen tooñii oya. Ko yo a ñaawir nunɗal hakkunde amen, wata a tooñu, tinndinaa men e laawol focciingol ngol, woni laawol sawaaba gol.
38:23Page 454
إِنَّ هَٰذَآ أَخِي لَهُۥ تِسۡعٞ وَتِسۡعُونَ نَعۡجَةٗ وَلِيَ نَعۡجَةٞ وَٰحِدَةٞ فَقَالَ أَكۡفِلۡنِيهَا وَعَزَّنِي فِي ٱلۡخِطَابِ ٢٣
Indeed this, my brother, has ninety-nine ewes, and I have one ewe; so he said, 'Entrust her to me,' and he overpowered me in speech."
Gooto e maɓɓe wi'iani Daawuuda: Oo gorko, ko musiɗɗo am: himo jogii baalii cappanɗe jeenay e jeenay, min miɗo jogii baalii gootii. O ɗaɓɓiri lam henndingol mo ngil, o fooli lam e yewtere.
38:24Page 454
قَالَ لَقَدۡ ظَلَمَكَ بِسُؤَالِ نَعۡجَتِكَ إِلَىٰ نِعَاجِهِۦۖ وَإِنَّ كَثِيرٗا مِّنَ ٱلۡخُلَطَآءِ لَيَبۡغِي بَعۡضُهُمۡ عَلَىٰ بَعۡضٍ إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ وَقَلِيلٞ مَّا هُمۡۗ وَظَنَّ دَاوُۥدُ أَنَّمَا فَتَنَّٰهُ فَٱسۡتَغۡفَرَ رَبَّهُۥ وَخَرَّۤ رَاكِعٗاۤ وَأَنَابَ۩ ٢٤
[David] said, "He has certainly wronged you in demanding your ewe [in addition] to his ewes. And indeed, many associates oppress one another, except for those who believe and do righteous deeds - and few are they." And David became certain that We had tried him, and he asked forgiveness of his Lord1 and fell down bowing [in prostration] and turned in repentance [to Allāh].
Daawuuda ñaawiri hakkunde maɓɓe wi'angol wullitiiɗo on: Pellet, musiɗɗo maa on tooñirii ma, ɗaɓɓugol ɓeydiyude baalii maa ngii, ka baali makko. Ko ɓuri ɗuuɗude e hawtuɓe, hino tooñindira hakkunde maɓɓe, si wanaa gomɗimɓe gollooɓe moƴƴuɗi yamiraaɗi ɗin; ɓen ɗon, ko nunɗuɓe hakkunde maɓɓe, kono ɓe ɗuuɗaa. Annabi Daawuuda felliti, wonnde Men jarriborii mo ngol wennjondiro. O ɗaɓɓiri Joomi makko haforaneede, o suuyiri sujjugol, o tuubani Allah.
38:25Page 454
فَغَفَرۡنَا لَهُۥ ذَٰلِكَۖ وَإِنَّ لَهُۥ عِندَنَا لَزُلۡفَىٰ وَحُسۡنَ مَـَٔابٖ ٢٥
So We forgave him that; and indeed, for him is nearness to Us and a good place of return.
Men jaɓirani mo tuubuubuyee, yaafanagol mo ɗum. Pellet non, hino woodani ka Amen, ɓadal e moƴƴugol ruttorde laakara.
38:26Page 454
يَٰدَاوُۥدُ إِنَّا جَعَلۡنَٰكَ خَلِيفَةٗ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَٱحۡكُم بَيۡنَ ٱلنَّاسِ بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَلَا تَتَّبِعِ ٱلۡهَوَىٰ فَيُضِلَّكَ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِۚ إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَضِلُّونَ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ لَهُمۡ عَذَابٞ شَدِيدُۢ بِمَا نَسُواْ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡحِسَابِ ٢٦
[We said], "O David, indeed We have made you a successor upon the earth, so judge between the people in truth and do not follow [your own] desire, as it will lead you astray from the way of Allāh." Indeed, those who go astray from the way of Allāh will have a severe punishment for having forgotten the Day of Account.
Ko an yo Daawuuda, Men waɗii ma lomto ka hoore leydi. Siinu fiyakuuji diina e aduna ɗin, ñaawiraa nunɗal hakkunde yimɓe ɓen. Wata a jokku mbeleeɗe, tuma ñaawataa hakkunde maɓɓe, sakko tooñataa goɗɗo e maɓɓe, sabu tawde oya on no ɓaɗi maa e jeya maa e weldigal, o majjiniri ɗum, laawol Allah focciingol ngol. Anndaa, pellet, majjooɓe ɓen e ngol Allah focciingol, hino woodani ɓe lepte saɗtuɗe, sabu ko ɓe yejjitiri kon, Ñalaande hasboore nden. Tawde si ɓe annditayno fii mayre, ɓe hula nde, ɓe jokkataano mbeleeɗe.
38:27Page 455
وَمَا خَلَقۡنَا ٱلسَّمَآءَ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَا بَٰطِلٗاۚ ذَٰلِكَ ظَنُّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْۚ فَوَيۡلٞ لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِنَ ٱلنَّارِ ٢٧
And We did not create the heaven and the earth and that between them aimlessly. That is the assumption of those who disbelieve, so woe to those who disbelieve from the Fire.
Men tagiraali kammu ngun e leydi ndin meere. Ɗum ko sikke yedduɓe ɓen. Bone Yiite woodanii ɓen yedduɓe, sikkuɓe ɗum, Ñalnde Darngal, si ɓe luttii e keeferaaku sikkitagol Allah ko boni !
38:28Page 455
أَمۡ نَجۡعَلُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ كَٱلۡمُفۡسِدِينَ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ أَمۡ نَجۡعَلُ ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ كَٱلۡفُجَّارِ ٢٨
Or should We treat those who believe and do righteous deeds like corrupters in the land? Or should We treat those who fear Allāh like the wicked?
Men waɗataa ɓen gomɗimɓe Allah ɓe jokki Nulaaɗo Makko on, ɓe golli golle moƴƴe, wano ɓen bonnirooɓe ka leydi, geddi e keeferaaku. Men waɗataa kadi hulirɓe Joomi mun ɓen, ɗoftagol yamirooje Makko, woɗɗitoo haɗaaɗi Makko, wano heeferɓe ɓen e naafiqiiɓe yooliiɓe e geddi ɓen. Fonnugol ɓe, ko ooñaare nde yahdaa e Allah toowuɗo seniiɗo On. Si ko woni, O yoɓitiray gomɗimɓe ɓen, naatugol Aljanna, O leptira yedduɓe ɓen, naatugol Yiite. Tawde ɓe fotataa ka Allah. Njoɓdi maɓɓe kadi fotataa ka Makko.
38:29Page 455
كِتَٰبٌ أَنزَلۡنَٰهُ إِلَيۡكَ مُبَٰرَكٞ لِّيَدَّبَّرُوٓاْ ءَايَٰتِهِۦ وَلِيَتَذَكَّرَ أُوْلُواْ ٱلۡأَلۡبَٰبِ ٢٩
[This is] a blessed Book which We have revealed to you, [O Muḥammad], that they might reflect upon its verses and that those of understanding would be reminded.
Ko Deftere heewunde barki e nafa, woni ndee Alqur'aanaare, nde Men jippini e maaɗa. Fii no yimɓe ɓen taskra miijitoo maanaaji mayre, joomiraaɓe haqqille ɓen hisuɗe ɓen, waajitora.
38:30Page 455
وَوَهَبۡنَا لِدَاوُۥدَ سُلَيۡمَٰنَۚ نِعۡمَ ٱلۡعَبۡدُ إِنَّهُۥٓ أَوَّابٌ ٣٠
And to David We gave Solomon. An excellent servant, indeed he was one repeatedly turning back [to Allāh].
Men yeɗi Daawuuda, geɗal makko Sulaymaana, neema e ɓural Amen, ko ɓernde makko deeƴira. Sulaymaana moƴƴii jeyaaɗo. Ko o ɗuuɗunooɗo tuubugol ruttoo e Allah.
38:31Page 455
إِذۡ عُرِضَ عَلَيۡهِ بِٱلۡعَشِيِّ ٱلصَّٰفِنَٰتُ ٱلۡجِيَادُ ٣١
[Mention] when there were exhibited before him in the afternoon the poised [standing] racehorses.
Janto nde o hollanoo kiikiiɗeere, pucci yooɗuɗi yaawuɗi, darorayɗi taape tati, ɓamta nayaɓal ngal. Ɓe seeraali e hollugol mo ɗum, haa naange muti.
38:32Page 455
فَقَالَ إِنِّيٓ أَحۡبَبۡتُ حُبَّ ٱلۡخَيۡرِ عَن ذِكۡرِ رَبِّي حَتَّىٰ تَوَارَتۡ بِٱلۡحِجَابِ ٣٢
And he said, "Indeed, I gave preference to the love of good [things] over the remembrance of my Lord until it [i.e., the sun] disappeared into the curtain [of darkness]."
Sulaymaana maaki: Mi ɓurnorii yiɗgol jawdi, wano ɗii pucci, e dow ko mi jantotoo Joomi am kon, haa naange ngen mutoyii, mi faɗii julde alansaraa nden.
38:33Page 455
رُدُّوهَا عَلَيَّۖ فَطَفِقَ مَسۡحَۢا بِٱلسُّوقِ وَٱلۡأَعۡنَاقِ ٣٣
[He said], "Return them to me," and set about striking1 [their] legs and necks.
Ruttee lam ɗii pucci. Ɓe rutti mo ɗi, o woni e sodirgol ɗi kaafa, ka taape(koyde) e ka daaɗe majji.
38:34Page 455
وَلَقَدۡ فَتَنَّا سُلَيۡمَٰنَ وَأَلۡقَيۡنَا عَلَىٰ كُرۡسِيِّهِۦ جَسَدٗا ثُمَّ أَنَابَ ٣٤
And We certainly tried Solomon and placed on his throne a body;1 then he returned.2
Gomɗii Men jarribike Sulaymaana, Men werii e jullere makko laamu nden, seytaniiru, nannditiniindu e neɗɗo, ndu ardii seeɗa e laamu makko ngun. Refti Sulaymaana hettiti laamu makko ngun, o wuurti mbo e seytaniiru ndun.
38:35Page 455
قَالَ رَبِّ ٱغۡفِرۡ لِي وَهَبۡ لِي مُلۡكٗا لَّا يَنۢبَغِي لِأَحَدٖ مِّنۢ بَعۡدِيٓۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلۡوَهَّابُ ٣٥
He said, "My Lord, forgive me and grant me a kingdom such as will not belong to anyone after me. Indeed, You are the Bestower."
Sulaymaana maaki: Joomi am, haforanam goopi am, yeɗaa lam laamu heeranii ngu lam, ngu haananaa goɗɗo goo, ɓaawo am. Ko An Joomi, woni ɗuuɗugol mawni dokke.
38:36Page 455
فَسَخَّرۡنَا لَهُ ٱلرِّيحَ تَجۡرِي بِأَمۡرِهِۦ رُخَآءً حَيۡثُ أَصَابَ ٣٦
So We subjected to him the wind blowing by his command, gently, wherever he directed,
Men jaabinani mo toraare nden. Men eltani mo henndu ndun, tawi ndu wifiray neweende, e yamiroore makko, e hoore doole e yaawere mayru fow, ndu naɓa mo ka o faalaa.
38:37Page 455
وَٱلشَّيَٰطِينَ كُلَّ بَنَّآءٖ وَغَوَّاصٖ ٣٧
And [also] the devils [of jinn] - every builder and diver
Men eltani mo kadi seytanuuji ɗin, ɗi woni e ley konngol makko. No e majji mahaynooɗi, goɗɗi ɗin mutaynooɗi ka maayo, ɗi yaltina kaŋŋe.
Seytanuuji goo, ko rawaniyanke, eltanaaɗi mo. Ɗin ko dummbaaɗi e jolokooje, ka ɗi waawaa memminaade.
38:39Page 455
هَٰذَا عَطَآؤُنَا فَٱمۡنُنۡ أَوۡ أَمۡسِكۡ بِغَيۡرِ حِسَابٖ ٣٩
[We said], "This is Our gift, so grant or withhold without account."
Ɗum ko ko Men yeɗu maa, an Sulaymaana, ka jaabingol toraare maa. Okku mo yiɗanɗaa, maa ɗalaa mo faalaɗaa. A lamnditortaake goɗɗum e mun.
38:40Page 455
وَإِنَّ لَهُۥ عِندَنَا لَزُلۡفَىٰ وَحُسۡنَ مَـَٔابٖ ٤٠
And indeed, for him is nearness to Us and a good place of return.
Pellet, Sulaymaana ka Amen, ko jeyaaɗo e ɓadnaaɓe, maranaaɓe ruttorde moƴƴunde, woni Aljanna.
38:41Page 455
وَٱذۡكُرۡ عَبۡدَنَآ أَيُّوبَ إِذۡ نَادَىٰ رَبَّهُۥٓ أَنِّي مَسَّنِيَ ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُ بِنُصۡبٖ وَعَذَابٍ ٤١
And remember Our servant Job, when he called to his Lord, "Indeed, Satan has touched me with hardship and torment."
Janto kadi, an Nulaaɗo, jeyaaɗo Amen on Ayyuuba, nde o torinoo Allah Joomi makko, wonnde: Seytaane memirii lam tampere lebtatnde.
38:42Page 455
ٱرۡكُضۡ بِرِجۡلِكَۖ هَٰذَا مُغۡتَسَلُۢ بَارِدٞ وَشَرَابٞ ٤٢
[So he was told], "Strike [the ground] with your foot; this is a [spring for a] cool bath and drink."
Men wi'ani mo: latir tunndawal(koyngal) maa ka leydi. O waɗi ɗum, ɓunndu ɓullitanii mo ɗon: tawi goɗɗam ɗam, ko yaretee ɗam, o lootora ɗama, ko o ittira lorra e tampere memunoonde mo nden.
38:43Page 456
وَوَهَبۡنَا لَهُۥٓ أَهۡلَهُۥ وَمِثۡلَهُم مَّعَهُمۡ رَحۡمَةٗ مِّنَّا وَذِكۡرَىٰ لِأُوْلِي ٱلۡأَلۡبَٰبِ ٤٣
And We granted him his family and a like [number] with them as mercy from Us and a reminder for those of understanding.
Men jaabinani mo toraare. Men huncani mo lorra makko kan, Men yeɗi mo ɓeynguure makko nden, Men ɓeydani mo geɗalɓe e taaniraaɓe yeru maɓɓe, yurmeende immorde e Amen, e njoɓdi muñal makko ngal, e fii no joomiraaɓe haqqille hisuɗe ɓen, waajitora, wonnde muñal, adday hoyeende e warjeede.
38:44Page 456
وَخُذۡ بِيَدِكَ ضِغۡثٗا فَٱضۡرِب بِّهِۦ وَلَا تَحۡنَثۡۗ إِنَّا وَجَدۡنَٰهُ صَابِرٗاۚ نِّعۡمَ ٱلۡعَبۡدُ إِنَّهُۥٓ أَوَّابٞ ٤٤
[We said], "And take in your hand a bunch [of grass] and strike with it and do not break your oath."1 Indeed, We found him patient, an excellent servant. Indeed, he was one repeatedly turning back [to Allāh].
Nde Annabi Ayyuuba tikkannoo debbo makko on, o woondiri piyugol mo loyru teemedere. Men wi'ani mo ontuma : Ko an Ayyuuba, nanngiri sookewo maa ngon, tamannde huɗo, piyiraa mo ɗum, no hunniraa woodoore maa nden, hara a firtaa nden. O waɗi ɗum. Men tawu mo, ko o muññiiɗo e ko Men jarribori mo kon. O moƴƴii jeyaaɗo. Pellet, ko o ɗuuɗunooɗo tuubugol ruttoo ka Allah.
38:45Page 456
وَٱذۡكُرۡ عِبَٰدَنَآ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ وَإِسۡحَٰقَ وَيَعۡقُوبَ أُوْلِي ٱلۡأَيۡدِي وَٱلۡأَبۡصَٰرِ ٤٥
And remember Our servants, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob - those of strength and [religious] vision.
Janto kadi, an Nulaaɗo, jeyaaɓe Amen ɓen ɓe Men suɓii, e Nulaaɓe Amen, ɓe Men immini: Ibraahiima, e Ishaaqa e Yaaquuba. Ɓe laatino joomiraaɓe cemmbe ka ɗoftagol Allah, ɗaɓɓa welayee Makko. Ɓe woni kadi joomiraaɓe giiɗe, jaɓooɓe goonga.
38:46Page 456
إِنَّآ أَخۡلَصۡنَٰهُم بِخَالِصَةٖ ذِكۡرَى ٱلدَّارِ ٤٦
Indeed, We chose them for an exclusive quality: remembrance of the home [of the Hereafter].
Men heertinanii heertinannde, nden woni wuurnugol ɓerɗe maɓɓe ɗen, anntidugol fii galle laakara ɗen, hebilaronaɗe, golle moƴƴe, nodda yimɓe ɓen e mum.
38:47Page 456
وَإِنَّهُمۡ عِندَنَا لَمِنَ ٱلۡمُصۡطَفَيۡنَ ٱلۡأَخۡيَارِ ٤٧
And indeed they are, to Us, among the chosen and outstanding.
Kadi, ɓee ka Amen, ko jeyaaɓe e suɓiraaɓe ɗoftagol dewgol Men, suɓiraaɓe tammbitagol Nulal Amen ngal, yottina e yimɓe ɓen.
38:48Page 456
وَٱذۡكُرۡ إِسۡمَٰعِيلَ وَٱلۡيَسَعَ وَذَا ٱلۡكِفۡلِۖ وَكُلّٞ مِّنَ ٱلۡأَخۡيَارِ ٤٨
And remember Ishmael, Elisha and Dhul-Kifl, and all are among the outstanding.
Janto kadi, an Annabiijo, Ismaa'iila geɗal Ibraahiima, e Ysa'u, e Zal-Kifli, mantiraaɓe mantoore labaande, tawde hiɓe hanndi e mun. Kala e maɓɓe, ko jeyaaɓe e suɓaaɓe moƴƴuɓe ɓen ka Allah.
38:49Page 456
هَٰذَا ذِكۡرٞۚ وَإِنَّ لِلۡمُتَّقِينَ لَحُسۡنَ مَـَٔابٖ ٤٩
This is a reminder. And indeed, for the righteous is a good place of return -
Ɗum ko annditirgol ɓee, mantoore labaande, ka Alqur'aana. Ko pellet, hino woodani hulirɓe Allah ɓen ɗoftagol Mo woɗɗitoo haɗaaɗi Makko ɗin, ruttorde moƴƴunde, ka galle laakara.
38:50Page 456
جَنَّٰتِ عَدۡنٖ مُّفَتَّحَةٗ لَّهُمُ ٱلۡأَبۡوَٰبُ ٥٠
Gardens of perpetual residence, whose doors will be opened to them.
Nden ruttorde moƴƴunde, ko Aljannaaji ñiiɓal, ɗi ɓe naatoyta Ñalnde Darngal, hara dame majji no udditiranaaɓe, saɗnugol ɓe.
38:51Page 456
مُتَّكِـِٔينَ فِيهَا يَدۡعُونَ فِيهَا بِفَٰكِهَةٖ كَثِيرَةٖ وَشَرَابٖ ٥١
Reclining within them, they will call therein for abundant fruit and drink.
Hara ko ɓe soɓɓindiiɓe e hoore danɗe cuɗinanaaɗe ɓe, hiɓe nodda gollooɓe ton ɓen, lamndooɓe muuyanteeɗi ɗuuɗuɗi serti, e noone kala e njaram, mo ɓe yiɗi, wano sanngara ekw.
38:52Page 456
۞ وَعِندَهُمۡ قَٰصِرَٰتُ ٱلطَّرۡفِ أَتۡرَابٌ ٥٢
And with them will be women limiting [their] glances1 and of equal age.
Hino woodani ɓe ton: rewɓe raɓɓinayɓe ndaarɗe mun e worɓe mun tun, fotɓe e duuɓi.
38:53Page 456
هَٰذَا مَا تُوعَدُونَ لِيَوۡمِ ٱلۡحِسَابِ ٥٣
This is what you, [the righteous], are promised for the Day of Account.
Ko ɗum woni ko fodaɗon e njoɓdi laaɓundi, onon gomɗuɓe ɓen, Ñalnde Darngal. Fii golle mon moƴƴe ɗen aduna.
38:54Page 456
إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَرِزۡقُنَا مَا لَهُۥ مِن نَّفَادٍ ٥٤
Indeed, this is Our provision; for it there is no depletion.
Pellet, njoɓdi jantaandi fii mun ndin ɗoo, ko arsike Amen, mo Men arsikoyta gomɗuɓe ɓen, Ñalnde Darngal. Arsike duumotooɗo, mo taƴondirtaa, o lannataa.
38:55Page 456
هَٰذَاۚ وَإِنَّ لِلطَّٰغِينَ لَشَرَّ مَـَٔابٖ ٥٥
This [is so]. But indeed, for the transgressors is an evil place of return -
Ko jantoo kon, ko njoɓdi gomɗuɓe ɓen. Pellet, hino woodani kadi yawtirɓe keeri Allah ɗin geddi e keeferaaku, njoɓdi sertundi; kamɓe on, ko ruttorde ɓurnde bonnde woodani ɓe Ñalnde Darngal.
38:56Page 456
جَهَنَّمَ يَصۡلَوۡنَهَا فَبِئۡسَ ٱلۡمِهَادُ ٥٦
Hell, which they will [enter to] burn, and wretched is the resting place.
Njoɓdi maɓɓe ndin, ko Jahannama, huuɓitaynge ɓe, nge tampina ɓe nguleeki e ooyeende. Hiɓe mari ton ndaɗɗuɗe, kono ɗe bonii daɗɗuɗe!
38:57Page 456
هَٰذَا فَلۡيَذُوقُوهُ حَمِيمٞ وَغَسَّاقٞ ٥٧
This - so let them taste it - is scalding water and [foul] purulence.
Ɗen lepte, ko ndiyam haɗtuɗam e fatugol, e mbor- di ilatndi e ɓalli yimɓe lepteteeɓe ɓen ka Yiite. Yo ɓe sulko ɗam, sabu ko njaram maɓɓe ɗam ittataa ɗonka ɗan non!
38:58Page 456
وَءَاخَرُ مِن شَكۡلِهِۦٓ أَزۡوَٰجٌ ٥٨
And other [punishments] of its type [in various] kinds.
Hino woodani ɓe lepte goo, nannduɗe e majje. Ɗen ko nooneeji, ɗi ɓe leptiroytee ka laakara.
38:59Page 456
هَٰذَا فَوۡجٞ مُّقۡتَحِمٞ مَّعَكُمۡ لَا مَرۡحَبَۢا بِهِمۡۚ إِنَّهُمۡ صَالُواْ ٱلنَّارِ ٥٩
[Its inhabitants will say], "This is a company bursting in with you. No welcome for them. Indeed, they will burn in the Fire."
Si yimɓe Yiite ɓen naatoyii e magge, ɓe ukkondi- royii hakkunde maɓɓe e weljugol hoynindira, kala e maɓɓe wona e daɗndinagol e oya. Woɗɓe e maɓɓe wi'i: E hino fedde naatidoyay nde e mon ka Yiite. Ɓe jaaboo ɓe: Toolii alanaa ɓe, tawde ko ɓe meeɗirayɓe Yiite ngen, no men meeɗirta nge.
38:60Page 456
قَالُواْ بَلۡ أَنتُمۡ لَا مَرۡحَبَۢا بِكُمۡۖ أَنتُمۡ قَدَّمۡتُمُوهُ لَنَاۖ فَبِئۡسَ ٱلۡقَرَارُ ٦٠
They will say, "Nor you! No welcome for you. You, [our leaders], brought this upon us, and wretched is the settlement."
Fedde jokkunooɓe ɓeya ɓen wi'ana koohooɓe ɓen: ko onon ɓee koohooɓe kan, woni toolii alanaa, ko onon defi men ɗee lepte muusuɗe, sabu ko mojjinirɗon men kon, bewinɗon men. Ndee ñiiɓirde Jahannama ɗoo, nde bonii ñiiɓirde naatooɓe nge fow.
38:61Page 456
قَالُواْ رَبَّنَا مَن قَدَّمَ لَنَا هَٰذَا فَزِدۡهُ عَذَابٗا ضِعۡفٗا فِي ٱلنَّارِ ٦١
They will say, "Our Lord, whoever brought this upon us - increase for him double punishment in the Fire."
Ɓe wi'a kadi: Joomi amen, defuɗo men majjugol on, ɓaawo nde peewal ngal ari e amen, sowan mo lepte ɗen ka Yiite.
38:62Page 457
وَقَالُواْ مَا لَنَا لَا نَرَىٰ رِجَالٗا كُنَّا نَعُدُّهُم مِّنَ ٱلۡأَشۡرَارِ ٦٢
And they will say, "Why do we not see men whom we used to count among the worst?1
Bewɓe townitiiɓe ɓen wi'a: Ko haɗi men yi'ugol ka Yiite gaa, worɓe ɓe men limtaynoo ka aduna, jeyaaɓe e bomɓe, hannduɓe e lepte?
38:63Page 457
أَتَّخَذۡنَٰهُمۡ سِخۡرِيًّا أَمۡ زَاغَتۡ عَنۡهُمُ ٱلۡأَبۡصَٰرُ ٦٣
Is it [because] we took them in ridicule, or has [our] vision turned away from them?"
Hara men falju e kon men jagitornoo ɓe kon jalnori, tawa ɓe handaa e lepte, kaa hara ɓe naatu Yiite, gite amen yawti ɓe?
38:64Page 457
إِنَّ ذَٰلِكَ لَحَقّٞ تَخَاصُمُ أَهۡلِ ٱلنَّارِ ٦٤
Indeed, that is truth [i.e., reality] - the quarreling of the people of the Fire.
Pellet, ko Men jantanii on kon, e ko yedduɓe ɓen wenjorndirta hakkunde maɓɓe Ñalnde Darngal, ko goonga mo sikke alaa e mu'un.
38:65Page 457
قُلۡ إِنَّمَآ أَنَا۠ مُنذِرٞۖ وَمَا مِنۡ إِلَٰهٍ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡوَٰحِدُ ٱلۡقَهَّارُ ٦٥
Say, [O Muḥammad], "I am only a warner, and there is not any deity except Allāh, the One, the Prevailing,1
An Muhammadu, maakan yimɓe maa yedduɓe ɓen: Anndee ko mi jertinoowo on, e lepte Allah ɗen, fii wata ɗe yanir e mon, sabu yeddugol mon fenna Nulaaɓe Makko ɓen. Anndo kadi, alaa reweteeɗo hannduɗo e dewal, si wanaa Allah Seniiɗo On. Ko Kanko woni Bajjo ka mawngu e sifaaji e ka inɗe Mun, Fooluɗo kala huunde. Mo huunde kala yankinii Ɗum.
38:66Page 457
رَبُّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَا ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلۡغَفَّٰرُ ٦٦
Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, the Exalted in Might,1 the Perpetual Forgiver."2
Ko Kanko woni Jeyɗo kammuuli ɗin, e leydi ndin, e kon ko woni hakkunde majji. Fooluɗo e laamu Mun, Mo gooto foolataa. Haforoowo junuubi jeyaaɓe Makko tuubuɓe ɓen.
An Nulaaɗo, maakan ɓee fennooɓe : ndee Alqur'aanaare, ko kumpital mawngal fiyaaku.
Kono hiɗon ɗuurnii e on kabaaru mawnuɗo fiyaaku. On alaa yeƴƴitaade e makko.
38:69Page 457
مَا كَانَ لِيَ مِنۡ عِلۡمِۭ بِٱلۡمَلَإِ ٱلۡأَعۡلَىٰٓ إِذۡ يَخۡتَصِمُونَ ٦٩
I had no knowledge of the exalted assembly [of angels] when they were disputing [the creation of Adam].
Mi heɓataano ganndal, e ko feƴƴaynoo hakkunde Malaa'ika'en, fii tagugol Aadama, si wanaano Allah wahayini ɗum e am, O anndimmi.
38:70Page 457
إِن يُوحَىٰٓ إِلَيَّ إِلَّآ أَنَّمَآ أَنَا۠ نَذِيرٞ مُّبِينٌ ٧٠
It has not been revealed to me except that I am a clear warner."
Allah wahayiniraali e am, si wanaa tawde ko mi jertinoowo on, e lepte Makko ɗen, ɓanninano on.
38:71Page 457
إِذۡ قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ إِنِّي خَٰلِقُۢ بَشَرٗا مِّن طِينٖ ٧١
[So mention] when your Lord said to the angels, "Indeed, I am going to create a human being from clay.
Janto nde Joomi maa daalannoo Malaa'ika'en: Min ko Mi tagiroowo ɓanndinke, woni Aadama (yo o his) immorde e loopal.
38:72Page 457
فَإِذَا سَوَّيۡتُهُۥ وَنَفَخۡتُ فِيهِ مِن رُّوحِي فَقَعُواْ لَهُۥ سَٰجِدِينَ ٧٢
So when I have proportioned him and breathed into him of My [created] soul,1 then fall down to him in prostration."
Si Mi fotindirii tagu makko ngun, Mi moƴƴintinii mbaadi makko ndin, mi wuttii ruuhu Am on e makko, ko yo on sujjan mo.
38:73Page 457
فَسَجَدَ ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ كُلُّهُمۡ أَجۡمَعُونَ ٧٣
So the angels prostrated - all of them entirely,
Malaa'ika'en ɗoftii yamaruyee Joomi maɓɓe on, ɓe sujji ɓe denndaangal, sujuudu teddungal. Alaa mo sujjanaano Aadama e maɓɓe.
38:74Page 457
إِلَّآ إِبۡلِيسَ ٱسۡتَكۡبَرَ وَكَانَ مِنَ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ ٧٤
Except Iblees;1 he was arrogant and became among the disbelievers.
Si wanaa Ibuliisa, o mawnitinii sujjugol ngol, o woni jeyaaɗo e yedduɓe Joomi mun.
38:75Page 457
قَالَ يَٰٓإِبۡلِيسُ مَا مَنَعَكَ أَن تَسۡجُدَ لِمَا خَلَقۡتُ بِيَدَيَّۖ أَسۡتَكۡبَرۡتَ أَمۡ كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلۡعَالِينَ ٧٥
[Allāh] said, "O Iblees, what prevented you from prostrating to that which I created with My hands?1 Were you arrogant [then], or were you [already] among the haughty?"
Allah daali: Ko an yo Ibuliisa, ko honɗum haɗu maa sujjangol Aadama, mo tagirmi juuɗe Am? Ko mawnintinaare haɗu maa kaa hari nun ko a jeyanooɗo e townitaniiɓe Joomi mun ɓen?
38:76Page 457
قَالَ أَنَا۠ خَيۡرٞ مِّنۡهُ خَلَقۡتَنِي مِن نَّارٖ وَخَلَقۡتَهُۥ مِن طِينٖ ٧٦
He said, "I am better than him. You created me from fire and created him from clay."
Ibuliisa wi'i: Ko min ɓuri Aadama moƴƴude. Tawde A tagirii lam immorde e yiite, A tagirii mo kanko e loopal. Sikkugol mo wonnde yiite ɓuri loope teddude.
38:77Page 457
قَالَ فَٱخۡرُجۡ مِنۡهَا فَإِنَّكَ رَجِيمٞ ٧٧
[Allāh] said, "Then get out of it [i.e., Paradise], for indeed, you are expelled.
Alla daalani ibuliisa: Yaltu ka Aljanna ton, sabu ko a huɗaaɗo Kiitaaɗa.
38:78Page 457
وَإِنَّ عَلَيۡكَ لَعۡنَتِيٓ إِلَىٰ يَوۡمِ ٱلدِّينِ ٧٨
And indeed, upon you is My curse until the Day of Recompense."
Pellet, raɗeede ka Aljanna fawike ma, haa Ñalaande nɓjodi kuuɗe, nden woni Ñalnde Darngal.
38:79Page 457
قَالَ رَبِّ فَأَنظِرۡنِيٓ إِلَىٰ يَوۡمِ يُبۡعَثُونَ ٧٩
He said, "My Lord, then reprieve me until the Day they are resurrected."
Ibuliisa wi'i: Nennitanam maayugol, haa ñalnde immintaa jeyaaɓe Maa ɓen.
38:80Page 457
قَالَ فَإِنَّكَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُنظَرِينَ ٨٠
[Allāh] said, "So indeed, you are of those reprieved
Allah daali: A jeyaama e nennitanaaɓe ɓen.
A nennitanaama, haa e happu anndaaɗo, halkeede ma.
38:82Page 457
قَالَ فَبِعِزَّتِكَ لَأُغۡوِيَنَّهُمۡ أَجۡمَعِينَ ٨٢
[Iblees] said, "By Your might, I will surely mislead them all
Ibuliisa wi'i: Mi woondirii kattal e mawngu Maa ngun ! Ma mi majjin ɓiɗɓe Aadama ɓen fow.
Si wanaa ɓen ɓe daɗndu-Ɗaa bone am, heertinir-Ɗaa ɓe e rewugol Am tun.
38:84Page 458
قَالَ فَٱلۡحَقُّ وَٱلۡحَقَّ أَقُولُ ٨٤
[Allāh] said, "The truth [is My oath], and the truth I say -
Allah daali: goonga kan ko e Am, ko goonga Mi wowlata, wanaa ko lunndi ɗum.
38:85Page 458
لَأَمۡلَأَنَّ جَهَنَّمَ مِنكَ وَمِمَّن تَبِعَكَ مِنۡهُمۡ أَجۡمَعِينَ ٨٥
[That] I will surely fill Hell with you and those of them that follow you all together."
Ma Mi hebbinire Jahannama Ñande Darngal, an e ɓen jokkuɓe ma, yedduɓe ɓen e banii Aadama ɓen fow.
38:86Page 458
قُلۡ مَآ أَسۡـَٔلُكُمۡ عَلَيۡهِ مِنۡ أَجۡرٖ وَمَآ أَنَا۠ مِنَ ٱلۡمُتَكَلِّفِينَ ٨٦
Say, [O Muḥammad], "I do not ask you for it [i.e., the Qur’ān] any payment, and I am not of the pretentious.
An Nulaaɗo, maakan sirkooɓe ɓen: Mi lamndaaki on e ko mi yottinta e mon kon, njoɓdi. Mi wonaali kadi etotooɗo sincugol ɓeyda e ko mi yamiraa kon.
Alqur'aana wonaali, si wanaa waaju, wonannde hellifaaɓe yimɓe e jinna ɓen.
38:88Page 458

And you will surely know [the truth of] its information after a time."
