إِنَّآ أَرۡسَلۡنَا نُوحًا إِلَىٰ قَوۡمِهِۦٓ أَنۡ أَنذِرۡ قَوۡمَكَ مِن قَبۡلِ أَن يَأۡتِيَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٞ ١
Indeed, We sent Noah to his people, [saying], "Warn your people before there comes to them a painful punishment."
Men imminii Nuuhu haa e yimɓe makko ɓen, fii noddugol ɓe jertina ɓe, ado lette muusuɗe arde e maɓɓe, sabu ko ɓe woni e sirkannde kon Allah.
71:2Page 570
قَالَ يَٰقَوۡمِ إِنِّي لَكُمۡ نَذِيرٞ مُّبِينٌ ٢
He said, "O my people, indeed I am to you a clear warner -
Nuuhu maakani yimɓe makko ɓen : ko onon yo yimɓe am, min ko mi jertinoowo on, ɓannginɗo jertinaango lette habbitiiɗi on, si tawii on tuubanaali Allah.
71:3Page 570
أَنِ ٱعۡبُدُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَٱتَّقُوهُ وَأَطِيعُونِ ٣
To worship Allāh, fear Him and obey me.
Jertinaango am ngon, ko wi'ugol on : rewee Allah tun, hara on kafidaali Mo e goɗɗum goo, huliron Mo ɗoftagol yamiraaɗi Makko e woɗɗitagol haɗaaɗi Makko, ɗoftoɗon lam e ko mi yamirta on kon.
71:4Page 570
يَغۡفِرۡ لَكُم مِّن ذُنُوبِكُمۡ وَيُؤَخِّرۡكُمۡ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٖ مُّسَمًّىۚ إِنَّ أَجَلَ ٱللَّهِ إِذَا جَآءَ لَا يُؤَخَّرُۚ لَوۡ كُنتُمۡ تَعۡلَمُونَ ٤
He [i.e., Allāh] will forgive you of your sins and delay you for a specified term. Indeed, the time [set by] Allāh, when it comes, will not be delayed, if you only knew."
Si on waɗii ɗum, Allah haforanany on junuubi mon ɗi humondiraaɗi e haqqeeji jeyaaɓe ɓen, O juutina laje mofte mon ɗen haa e happu mo Allah anndi, nguurnon leydi fotde hiɗon ñiiɓi e ɗum. Ko woni tun, maayde nden si hewtii, ngal nennetaake, si ɗon anndunoo ɗum, on tiiɗnorayno gomɗingol Allah, tuubun e sirku e majjere ko wonɗon e mun.

قَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّي دَعَوۡتُ قَوۡمِي لَيۡلٗا وَنَهَارٗا ٥
He said, "My Lord, indeed I invited my people [to truth] night and day.
Nuuhu maaki : Joomi am, mi jokkindirii noddirgol yimɓe am ɓen e rewugol Ma e wootinɗine, jemma e ñalorma ko ewindii.
71:6Page 570
فَلَمۡ يَزِدۡهُمۡ دُعَآءِيٓ إِلَّا فِرَارٗا ٦
But my invitation increased them not except in flight [i.e., aversion].
Kono noddaandu am ndun ɓeydaani ɓe, si wanaa dogugol wɗɗitoo ko mi noddata ɓe e mun kon.
71:7Page 570
وَإِنِّي كُلَّمَا دَعَوۡتُهُمۡ لِتَغۡفِرَ لَهُمۡ جَعَلُوٓاْ أَصَٰبِعَهُمۡ فِيٓ ءَاذَانِهِمۡ وَٱسۡتَغۡشَوۡاْ ثِيَابَهُمۡ وَأَصَرُّواْ وَٱسۡتَكۡبَرُواْ ٱسۡتِكۡبَارٗا ٧
And indeed, every time I invited them that You may forgive them, they put their fingers in their ears, covered themselves with their garments,1 persisted, and were arrogant with [great] arrogance.
Tuma kala kadi nde mi noddi ɓe e ko ɓe haforantee junuubi : wano rewugol Ma An tun, ɗofto Maa An e Nulaaɗo Maa on, ɓe uddira noppi maɓɓe ɗin kollin ɗin fii wata ɓe nanu, ɓe buumora comci maɓɓe ɗin fii wata ɓe yi'am, ɓe duumii e sirkugol ngol, ɓe townitanii jaɓugol noddaandu am ndun, mawnintinanoo ndu.
Refti Joomi am, mi noddirii ɓee e kene.
71:9Page 570
ثُمَّ إِنِّيٓ أَعۡلَنتُ لَهُمۡ وَأَسۡرَرۡتُ لَهُمۡ إِسۡرَارٗا ٩
Then I announced to them and [also] confided to them secretly
Refti mi townanii ɓe hito ka noddugol, mi gunndii ɓe gunndagol, mi noddiri ɓe noone fow.
71:10Page 570
فَقُلۡتُ ٱسۡتَغۡفِرُواْ رَبَّكُمۡ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ غَفَّارٗا ١٠
And said, 'Ask forgiveness of your Lord. Indeed, He is ever a Perpetual Forgiver.
Mi wi*ani ɓe : ko onon yo yimɓe am, ɗaɓɓiree Joomi mon tuubaneede, tawde O siforii wonnde Haforoowo junuubi kala tuubuɗo e jeyaaɓe Makko ɓen.
71:11Page 571
يُرۡسِلِ ٱلسَّمَآءَ عَلَيۡكُم مِّدۡرَارٗا ١١
He will send [rain from] the sky upon you in [continuing] showers
Si on waɗii ɗum, Allah jippiniray toɓo ngon e mooɗon, jokkondiral tuma haaju mon yani e maggo, hara on heɓataa kokke.
71:12Page 571
وَيُمۡدِدۡكُم بِأَمۡوَٰلٖ وَبَنِينَ وَيَجۡعَل لَّكُمۡ جَنَّٰتٖ وَيَجۡعَل لَّكُمۡ أَنۡهَٰرٗا ١٢
And give you increase in wealth and children and provide for you gardens and provide for you rivers.
O yeɗay on jawle e ɓiɗɓe ɗuuɗuɓe, O waɗana on gese ɗe ñaamoton dimɗe mun, O waɗana on canɗi ka yaron yarnon gese e neemoraaɗi mon.
71:13Page 571
مَّا لَكُمۡ لَا تَرۡجُونَ لِلَّهِ وَقَارٗا ١٣
What is [the matter] with you that you do not attribute to Allāh [due] grandeur
E ko heɓi on yimɓe am, on hulataa manngural Allah ngal, hiɗon yeddiral Mo yawitaare?
Gomɗii le O tagirii on sagara-sagara, immorde e maniyyu, hooti heɗɗere, hooti huyre.
71:15Page 571
أَلَمۡ تَرَوۡاْ كَيۡفَ خَلَقَ ٱللَّهُ سَبۡعَ سَمَٰوَٰتٖ طِبَاقٗا ١٥
Do you not consider how Allāh has created seven heavens in layers1
E on yi'aali no Allah tagiri kammuuli jeeɗiɗi tegondirɗi, kammu kala ina e hoore nguya?
71:16Page 571
وَجَعَلَ ٱلۡقَمَرَ فِيهِنَّ نُورٗا وَجَعَلَ ٱلشَّمۡسَ سِرَاجٗا ١٦
And made the moon therein a [reflected] light and made the sun a burning lamp?
O waɗi lewru ndun ka kammu aduna, ina heen ndaygu yimɓe leydi ndin; O waɗi naange ngen kadi ndayginnge.
71:17Page 571
وَٱللَّهُ أَنۢبَتَكُم مِّنَ ٱلۡأَرۡضِ نَبَاتٗا ١٧
And Allāh has caused you to grow from the earth a [progressive] growth.
Ko Allah tagiri e leydi ndin e tagugol baaba mon Aadama e mayri, hooti ko e mayri wuurdaton ko ndi funnata.
71:18Page 571
ثُمَّ يُعِيدُكُمۡ فِيهَا وَيُخۡرِجُكُمۡ إِخۡرَاجٗا ١٨
Then He will return you into it and extract you [another] extraction.
Refti O ruttiray on e mayri ɓaawo on maayude, O yaltinira ummintineede e mayre yaltudee.
71:19Page 571
وَٱللَّهُ جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ بِسَاطٗا ١٩
And Allāh has made for you the earth an expanse
Allah waɗiranii on leydi ndin weertaandi hebliraandi ka hoɗee.
71:20Page 571
لِّتَسۡلُكُواْ مِنۡهَا سُبُلٗا فِجَاجٗا ٢٠
That you may follow therein roads of passage.'"
Fii no naatiron e mayri laawi yaajuɗi, ka ɗaɓɓiron arsike dagiiɗo.
71:21Page 571
قَالَ نُوحٞ رَّبِّ إِنَّهُمۡ عَصَوۡنِي وَٱتَّبَعُواْ مَن لَّمۡ يَزِدۡهُ مَالُهُۥ وَوَلَدُهُۥٓ إِلَّا خَسَارٗا ٢١
Noah said, "My Lord, indeed they have disobeyed me and followed him whose wealth and children will not increase him except in loss.
Nuuhu maaki : Joomi am, yimɓe am ɓen salanike lam e ko mi yamiri ɓe wootinɗingol Ma rewa Maa kon An tun. Jaasuɓe ɓen e maɓɓe jokki hooreeɓe ɓe neeminirɗaa ɓen e maɓɓe jawle e ɓiɗɓe. Hara le kon ko neeminirɗaa ɓe ɓeydaali ɓe si wanaa majjere.
Hooreeɓe maɓɓe ɓen fewji feere mawnde, fii no ɓe cuynira jaasuɓe maɓɓe ɓen e Nuuhu.
71:23Page 571
وَقَالُواْ لَا تَذَرُنَّ ءَالِهَتَكُمۡ وَلَا تَذَرُنَّ وَدّٗا وَلَا سُوَاعٗا وَلَا يَغُوثَ وَيَعُوقَ وَنَسۡرٗا ٢٣
And said, 'Never leave your gods and never leave Wadd or Suwāʿ or Yaghūth and Yaʿūq and Nasr.'1
Ɓe wi'ani jokkuɓe ɓen : wata on terto dey reweteeɗi mon ɗin : wata on terto rewugol sanamuuji mon ɗin Wudda, e Suwaa'a, e Ya'uuqhta, e Nasr.
71:24Page 571
وَقَدۡ أَضَلُّواْ كَثِيرٗاۖ وَلَا تَزِدِ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ إِلَّا ضَلَٰلٗا ٢٤
And already they have misled many. And, [my Lord], do not increase the wrongdoers except in error."
Ko pellet, ɓe majjinirii yimɓe ɗuuɗuɓe, ɗii sanamuuji maɓɓe. Joomi, wata A ɓeydir tooñirɓe ko'e mun ɓen geddi e keeferaaku, si wanaa majjugol goonga.
71:25Page 571
مِّمَّا خَطِيٓـَٰٔتِهِمۡ أُغۡرِقُواْ فَأُدۡخِلُواْ نَارٗا فَلَمۡ يَجِدُواْ لَهُم مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ أَنصَارٗا ٢٥
Because of their sins they were drowned and put into the Fire, and they found not for themselves besides Allāh [any] helpers.
Ko sabu goopi maɓɓe ɗi ɓe faggitinoo ɗin, ɓe yoliranoo waame ɗen, ɓe naadoyaa kisan ka Yiite ɓaawo maayde maɓɓe. Ɓe heɓanaano ko'e maɓɓe ko wanaa Allah, danɗndoowo ɓe yoolagol e sumgol.
71:26Page 571
وَقَالَ نُوحٞ رَّبِّ لَا تَذَرۡ عَلَى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ مِنَ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ دَيَّارًا ٢٦
And Noah said, "My Lord, do not leave upon the earth from among the disbelievers an inhabitant.
Nde Allah humpitunoo Nuuhu wonnde hay gooto gomɗintaa e yimɓe maa ɓen si wanaa ɓeya gomɗinnooɓe, O maaki kadi: Joomi am, wata A accu e leydi ndin, hay keefeere gooto yiilatooɗo wollo dilloowo.
71:27Page 571
إِنَّكَ إِن تَذَرۡهُمۡ يُضِلُّواْ عِبَادَكَ وَلَا يَلِدُوٓاْ إِلَّا فَاجِرٗا كَفَّارٗا ٢٧
Indeed, if You leave them, they will mislead Your servants and not beget except [every] wicked one and [confirmed] disbeliever.
Ko pellet, si A nennanii ɓe An Joomi amen, ɓe majjinoyay jeyaaɓe Maa gomɗimɓe ɓen, ɓe jiidoytaako kadi si wanaa bonnooɓe ɓe ɗoftotaako Ma, tiiɗuɓe yeddugol ɓe yettatah neemaaji Maa ɗin.
71:28Page 571
رَّبِّ ٱغۡفِرۡ لِي وَلِوَٰلِدَيَّ وَلِمَن دَخَلَ بَيۡتِيَ مُؤۡمِنٗا وَلِلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنَٰتِۖ وَلَا تَزِدِ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ إِلَّا تَبَارَۢا ٢٨
My Lord, forgive me and my parents and whoever enters my house a believer and the believing men and believing women. And do not increase the wrongdoers except in destruction."
Joomi am, haforanam junuubi am, min e jibimɓe lam ɓen, haforanaa kala gomɗinɗo naatuɗo ka suudu am, e gomɗimɓe worɓe ɓen e gomɗimɓe rewɓe ɓen; wata A ɓeydir tooñirɓe ko'e mun ɓen geddi e leeferaaku, si wanaa halkagol e hayrugol.
